        This experiment was conducted to investigate the effect of plant extracts, Chrysanthimum cinerariefolium and Melia azedarach to natural enemies and management of two spotted spider mite, Tetranychus urticae in organic strawberry fields in Jeonnam area. Plant extracts were highly toxic against Phytoseiulus persimilis, but low against Orius laevigatus. In the residual effect against Phytoseiulus persimilis, C. cinerariefolium showed lower level than M. azedarach which safe at least 1 day after spray. Emergence rates of parasitoids were about 40% at seven days after spray. Eretmocerus eremicus has very low emergence rate in treatment of M. azedarach, so it should release after spray of M. azedarach. To control of T urticae C. cinerariefolium (CC) sprayed first and then sprayed C. cinerariefolium or M. azedarach (MA) for two and three times at a week interval. In the treatment of CC+MA and CC+CC+MA, the density of T urticae was inhibited by 15th day but increased afterward. In CC+MA+CC, that of T urticae inhibit from 8 days but also increased after 15th day. In case of spray M. azedarach (MA) first, the treatment of MA+CC, MA+MA+CC, MA+CC+MA suppressed T urticae from the first day so the densy of T urticae maintained low level to 30 days after spray. It suggested that M. azedarach should spray first and then alternative spray. When C. cinerariefolium sprayed before and behind to release of P. persimilis, the density of P. persimilis maintained unchanged but could not suppress T. urticae after 8 days which T. urticae increase time. When M. azedarach sprayed, the density of T. urticae rapidly decreased. It was accompanied with P persimilis so T. urticae did not occur at 8 days after treatment.

        Total collected benthic macroinvertebrates in rice paddy fields were identified 3 phylum, 5 class, 13 order, 25 family, 32 genera and 36 species, those in organic rice field were 12 order, 22 family and 28 species, and in conventional rice field were 10 order, 19 family and 25 species. The almost collected species inhabit lentic zone but Semisulcospira libertina, Corbicula fluminea, and Tipula sp. were habitat on lotic zone. The number of benthic macroinvertebrates species was higher in organic paddy field than in conventional field. Eleven species were collected only on organic but eight species only on conventional field. The number of individuals were 870 on organic rice field which higher 3.6-fold on conventional field. The diversity indices of organic rice field were 1.57-2.45 and 0.71-2.61 in the first and second survey, respectively. The higher diversity indices, the lower dominance indices.

        본 실험은 총체용 유연 보리의 종실 및 건물 수량에 대한 제초제 처리효과를 구명하고자 2007년 10월 10일 충남대학교 전작 포장에 줄뿌림하고2일 후에 제초제 유제를 1,000배액으로 희석하여 살포하였다. 1차 제초효과는 무처리에서 냉이의 경우 총 37개체, 마세트(유) 6.7, 알라(유) 5.3이었으나, 2차 조사시에는 무처리 28점, 마세트(유) 2.0개, 알라(유) 2, 3개로 1차시보다 전체적으로 개체수가 적게 나타났다. 이들 각각에 대한 생체중은 1차 조사시 무처리 17.9g, 마세트 3.9g, 알라 1.3g인 반면에 건물중은 무처리 3.23g, 마세트 0.71g, 알라 0.24g으로 이들 중 알라(유)효과가 높게 나타났다. 2차인 경우 무처리의 건물중은 10.8g, 마세트 2.3g, 알라 1.7g으로1차 조사시보다 높게 나타났다. 그 이외 밭뚝외풀 역시 같은 경향이었으나 둑세풀은 무처리를 제외한 처리구에서는 전혀 나타나지 않았다. 이들 각 처리에 대한 작물학적 특성을 살펴보면 분얼수의 경우 1, 2차 모두 처리구에서 4.6개로 동일하였으나 무처리는 1차 보다 2차에서 약간 감소하는 경향이었다. 그러나 생체중 및 건물중은 1차보다 2차에서 크게 증가 하였다. 10a당 종실수량은 무처리보다 처리구에서 크게 증가하였으나 처리간에 유의성이 나타나지 않았다.
