        In this paper, we study the existing results of the structure-soil-structure interaction (SSSI) effect on seismic responses of structures and summarize important parameters. The parameters considered in this study are a combination of buildings in the power block of a nuclear power plant, the characteristics of earthquake ground motions and its direction, and the characteristics embedded under the ground. Based on these parameters, the seismic analysis model of the structures in the power block of the nuclear power plant is developed and the structure-soil-structure interaction analyses are performed to analyze the influence of the parameters on the seismic response. For all analyses, the soil-structure interaction (SSI) analysis program CNU-KIESSI, which was developed to enable large-sized seismic analysis, is used. In addition, the SSI analyses is performed on individual structures and the results are compared with the SSSI analysis results. Finally, the influence of the parameters on the seismic response of the structure due to the SSSI effect is reviewed through comparison of the analysis results.

        지진취약도 분석은 원자력 발전소의 내진성능평가를 위하여 발전되어져 왔지만, 현재는 적용성이 건물과 교량 등에도 확대되어지고 있다. 일반적으로 지진취약도 곡선은 수많은 지진가속도 기록을 이용하여 비선형 시간이력해석으로 구한다. 비선형 시간이력해석에 의한 지진취약도 분석은 구조물의 모델링과 해석에 많은 시간이 소요되는 과정을 요구한다. 비선형 시간이력해석의 이와 같은 약점을 보완하기 위해서 변위계수법과 역량스펙트럼 방법과 같은 간단한 해석방법을 지진취약도 분석에 적용하였다. 변위계수법과 역량 스펙트럼 방법을 적용한 지진취약도 곡선의 정확성을 평가하기 위하여, 철근콘크리트 전단벽 구조물에 대한 변위계수법과 역량스펙트럼 방법을 적용한 지진취약도 곡선을 비선형 시간이력해석에 의해 구해진 지진취약도 곡선과 비교하였다. 지진취약도 곡선의 작성을 위해서는 설계스펙트럼에 대응되는 190개의 인공지진과 Shinozuka 등이 제안한 방법이 적용되었다.

        기존의 하중-기반 방법을 대체할 방법중에 성능-기반 방법이 내진설계 및 내진성능평가의 기법으로서 널리 인식되고 있는 실정이다. 탄성응답스펙트럼을 사용하는 역량스펙트럼방법은 비선형 시스템을 등가의 선형시스템으로 치환하여 주어진 지진 하중에 대한 구조물의 최대 비선형 거동을 예측한다. 본 연구의 목적은 철근콘크리트 벽체구조물에 대하여 4개의 등가단자유도방법과 5개의 등가감쇠방법을 사용하여 역량스펙트럼방법의 정확성을 평가하는 것이다. 역량스펙트럼방법의 정확성을 평가하기 위하여 벽체구조물에 대한 진동대 실험결과와 비교하였다. 또한 이선형 곡선변환방법(등가에너지 근사화방법, 유효강성 사화 방법)에 의한 이선형 역량곡선들의 역량스펙트럼 해석에 대한 영향도 비교하였다.

        The Goal of research is that budget of maintenance were estimated in network-level bridges. We determined the life cycle of exchangeable bridge element with HBMS(Highway Bridge Management System) data and In-depth Inspection Results by the survival analysis probability model. We developed the method that predicted cost of maintenance in all of the highway bridge in korea considering a characteristics of failures.

        The maintenance costs will be increased due to the aging of the bridge. Thus, the maintenance strategy considering the damage characteristic of elements is needed for the efficient maintenance of the bridge. The objective of this research is that damage characteristic were estimated by analyzing the change in the presence or absence of damage to a structural member of the bridge for the detailed safety inspection conducted two or more times.

        The lifetime of painting is shorter than the lifetime of the bridge. Thus, ongoing maintenance for the lifetime of the bridge is needed. In addition, determination of the repainting period in order to maintenance costs predict is very important. In previous studies were calculated repainting period using survey of experts and some field data. In this study, the properties of the repainting period were analyzed using repainting data of bridge maintenance system.

        In this paper, the maintenance characteristics for the abutment and pier in highway bridges are investigated. The repair and rehabilitation properties are integrated from the Highway Bridge Maintenance System until 2013. Whole numbers of the abutment and the pier in highway bridges are over 37,000. The repair and/or rehabilitation are carried out for the substructure of about 10,240. More than 35 billion won of budget for repair and rehabilitation were used until now. It can be known that during one year about 37,000 won of budget has been used to maintain and preserve each substructure.

        The number of highway bridge has been doubled for last 10 years. It is because many new highway routes has been completed since 2000. As a result, the maintenance cost of highway bridge has been increased as well. Therefore, to predict the long-term maintenance costs, there is a need for a method. To solve this problem, various studies about the life cycle cost analysis was conducted. Maintenance costs for members of the highway bridge is quite different to each other. Therefore, all the elements that are managed by the same proportion is inefficient. In this study, the distribution characteristics of maintenance costs for members of the highway bridge were analyzed using research data and highway bridge maintenance system data.

        The previous design of the shear key is designed by considering only the strength of the anchor the body. However, the strength of the anchor portion often be influenced by steel strength of the anchor, as well as the strength of the concrete around the anchor. The purpose of this study was to improve the problem of the existing design methods by considering the performance of the shear key body and the anchor system.

        In this study on the seismic behavior of the bridge that does not affect the safety of the range of variation of the length of the pier was looking for. The type of bridge is difficult to set clear standards for the geometric stiffness of the bridge, due to the diversity of soil conditions on the number of all cases.         Nowadays, finger joints have been more popular than rail type joints due to their many merits: easiness to maintain, low noise, etc. However, finger joints have some demerits too. This paper investigates the damage of finger joints installed at a curved PSC box girder bridge. The analytical results show that the damage of finger joints of the curved bridge is caused by thermal expansion and imperfect installation of the joints.
