        Usually, columns are the key load bearing elements in concrete frame structures. They are typically weak, not to long distance explosive loadings, but to short distance loadings. In this study, the effect of blast loadings occurring within a short distance was examined analytically. Various aspect ratios of column sections with the same sectional area and reinforcement ratio were considered as variables in order to evaluate damage levels. It was found that ratio of residual strength to nominal axial strength of columns decreased as contact area of column to the blast loading became smaller.

        A new type of GFRP shear reinforcement is proposed for reinforced concrete beams. The new GFRP shear reinforcement consists of GFRP plate material with openings to ensure complete integration with the concrete. The performance of the proposed shear reinforcement was investigated by performing tests on six concrete beam specimens with shear span-to-depth ratio of 2.4. Test parameters include the area of opening of GFRP plate and the shape of GFRP plate. The effects of these parameters on the shear strength of the GFRP plate shear reinforced concrete beam were examined.

        The variability of deflection for reinforced concrete flat plates is large because of the uncertainty of concrete. But there is the minimum thickness or maximum allowable deflection only in the current design criteria. That is based on experiential data and does not consider the variability. Thus, Deflection evaluation based on probabilistic method is needed. A parametric study has been conducted to verification of influence of several parameters. In order to predict the reasonable deflection of reinforced concrete flat plates, a layered degenerated shell element also was adopted for finite element analysis.

        The GFRP shear reinforcement is manufactured into a plate shape with several openings, and it is embedded into concrete with longitudinal steel reinforcements during construction stage. In this paper, the performance of the newly proposed shear reinforcement was investigated by carrying out a structural test on four concrete deep beam specimens. Test parameter is shear span-to-depth ratio, and the cracking pattern, failure mode and the effects of this parameter on the shear strength were examined.

        Columns, plays a very important role to support the building. Columns failure causes the structure to collapse. In this study, numerical model was prepared using AUTODYN. The purpose of this study damaged by the blast load residual resistance of reinforced concrete columns is to evaluate the performance. As a result, axial load ratio indicated the highest correlation.

        국내에서 공동주택이 대량으로 공급되었던 1980~1990년대에는 콘크리트의 설계기준강도가 약 18MPa로 낮았으며 또한 대부분의 기둥은 수직하중만을 고려하여 설계되었다. 본 연구에서는 수명이 오래된 콘크리트 기둥의 성능을 향상시키기 위하여 시공이 간편하고 내식성이 우수하며 인장성능이 매우 뛰어난 탄소섬유시트로 보강된 RC 기둥의 압축강도 성능평가 실험을 수행하였다. 기둥을 구속하는 탄소섬유시트의 wrapping 각도는 수직하중과 수평하중에 저항할 수 있도록 기둥의 재축방향에 대하여 ±60°각도로 보강하였다. 실험을 수행한 후 압축강도 및 변형률의 증가양상과 시험체의 파괴양상을 분석하였으며 실험결과의 회귀분석을 수행하여 향상된 압축강도를 예측할 수 있는 회귀식을 작성하였다.

        본 연구에서는 카본시트튜브로 구속된 원형기둥에 반복 횡하중을 가하여 기둥의 휨내력을 평가하는 실험을 수행하였다 중립축을 기준으로 압축 및 인장측 단면의 모멘트를 이용하여 공칭모멘트를 계산하는 등가응력블록계산법을 소개하였다 또한 실험결과를 분석하여 횡 하중에 대한 거동을 예측할 수 있는 회귀식을 마련하여 실험결과와 비교하였다
