The purpose of this study is to assess the effects of outlook project for olive flounder, from the view point of price stabilization, market efficiency, and causality of the prices in different distribution channels. Analytical results show that the volatility of producer price of olive flounder has been significantly mitigated after the implementation of the outlook project. The market efficiency is estimated to be improved after implementing the outlook project although there is an inefficiency on price determination process in some producing regions. The causality test on the producer and wholesale price shows that producing stage leads the wholesale stage in forming the prices. It is found that Jeju leads the flounder price on the size of 500g and 2kg, while Wando leads the price of 1kg size. These estimation result as whole indicate that outlook project for olive flounder has accomplished the intended goals.

식품산업의 성장이 국내 농산물에 대한 원료 수요 확대로 직접적으로 이어지지 못하는 가장 큰 요인은 국 산 농산물을 원료로 사용하기에는 높은 가격이나 안정적인 조달의 어려움과 같은 제약조건이 존재하기 때문 이다. 식품산업과 국산 농산물 간의 연결고리가 이와 같이 약하다는 것은 사실상 국산 농산물을 식품으로 가 공하여 전적으로 수요를 확대하는 데에는 한계가 존재하기 때문에 가능성 있는 품목을 발굴하는 것이 우선적 인 과제라고 할 수 있다. 그간 정부에서는 농업과 식품산업 간의 연계를 강화하기 위해 다양한 정책을 실시하여왔다. 이 과정에서 지역단위의 농업조직이나 지역농업클러스터는 원료조달과 공급이라는 일차적인 연계를 넘어서 인프라 등을 공동으로 활용하는 방향으로 연계의 또 다른 방향을 모색할 수 있을 것이다. 지역농업과 식품기업의 연계에 는 정부의 지역단위 농업활성화를 위한 각종 지원 정책 이외에도 국산 농산물을 원료로 사용하는 식품기업에 대한 인센티브를 부여하는 것도 효과적인 방안 중의 하나가 될 수 있을 것이다.

본 논문에서는 선행연구와 달리 냉장육 돼지고기와 냉동육 돼지고기에 대한 서로 다른 관세철폐 일정을 명시적으로 고려하여 한․미 FTA가 국내 돼지고기 시장에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 국산 돼지고기의 균형가격은 최소 2.69%에서 최대 15.96%까지 감소하고, 물량은 최소 1.35%에서 최대 5.6%까지 감소할 수 있는 것으로 시뮬레이션 된다. 또한 부위별로 보면 관세철폐 이행 이후 돼지고기의 도매가격은 kg당 최소 100원에서 최대 1300원까지 하락할 수 있는 것으로 분석된다. 이러한 분석결과는 한·EU의 협상결과나 DDA 협상 타결로 인한 다른 나라 돼지고기의 수입증가와 같은 돼지고기 시장의 다른 측면과 돼지고기가 타 육류와 가지는 대체관계 등은 고려하지 않은 것이기 때문에, 본 논문의 분석결과는 다른 모든 조건이 일정하다는 가정 하에 미국산 돼지고기의 수입가격이 하락한 상황이 가져오는 효과만을 분석했다는 전제하에 이해되어야 한다.
