본 연구는 국제경영전략 관점에서 해외자회사가 이전한 지식은 기업 경쟁력 강화에 언제나 긍정 적일 것이라는 가정을 비판하기 위해, 해외자회사의 역지식이전 수준과 기업성과 간 관계를 분석하 였다. 글로벌 기업 직원 256명을 대상으로 설문조사한 결과, 해외자회사가 본사로 이전한 지식 수 준이 높을수록 높은 기업성과를 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 이러한 효과는 해외자회사의 역량 및 해외자회사와 본사 간 비전공유 수준에 따라 차이를 보이는 것으로 나타났으며, 해외자회사의 역량이 낮거나, 비전공유 수준이 낮은 조직의 역지식이전은 기업성과에 부정적 영향을 제공하는 것 으로 나타났다. 이를 통해 본 연구는 역지식이전 과정에서 글로벌 기업의 형태적 통제기제와 사회 적 통제기제가 요구되고 있음을 제시하였다.

토마토뿔나방(Phthorimaea absoluta)은 현재 전 세계 토마토 재배에 심각한 문제를 초래하는 해충이며 국내에서는 2023년에 처음 발견된 이후. 전국적으로 퍼져 국내 토마토 재배 농가에 많은 경제적 손실을 입히고 있다. 특히 친환경 토마토 재배 농가에 대한 피해가 크게 발생하였지만 친환경 방제 방법이 부족한 상황이다. 북아프리카와 유럽에서는 토마토뿔나방의 포식성 천적인 담배장님노린재 (Nesidiocoris tenuis)를 상업적으로 이용하고 있으며, 스페인에서 알벌류(Tricogrammatidae)를 토마토뿔 나방 방제에 활용하는 등 친환경 방제수단으로써 천적을 활용하고 있다. 국외에서의 천적을 이용한 토마토뿔나방 방제 사례를 수집하여 기존 국내 천적의 활용성을 검증하고 이를 토대로 국내 토착 천적의 탐색 및 효과 검증을 통한 종합적인 천적 활용 친환경 방제 전략 수립에 이용하고자 한다.

Complex structure constituting of several layers of heteroatom-doped N-CDs are used as a main sensing film along with aluminum electrodes in conductometric gas sensing system for sensitive and selective monitoring of CO2 and CO gases diluted with normal air, which are extensively prevalent in the atmosphere primarily due to the industrial revolution, locomotives, and numerous natural phenomena’s and the limit of detection (LOD) turned out to be 400 ppm and 30 ppm, respectively, with 20% relative humidity at 30 °C and pressure 1 (atm) which are good for healthy air quality checks. The sensor performance was satisfactory and bidirectional at ambient room temperature (30 °C) and pressure (1 atm) conditions but the relative humidity (50%) at 30 °C had a detrimental impact on the sensing responses, therefore intermittent heating at 80 °C for several minutes between the sensing responses was provided to the sensing chip or one should use gas filter membranes to block humidity, thereby maintaining its constant performance with great ease and accuracy. The cyclic voltammetry revealed well-defined oxidation and reduction peaks, with excellent stability and reversibility. In a nutshell, heteroatom-doped N-CDs’ nanocomposite material can revolutionize in a better environmental pollution monitoring by sensing gases in an extensively lesser response and recovery times.

This paper explores the professional identities of four Filipino English teachers (FETs) who instruct international students at a language academy in Bonifacio Global City (BGC), a special district for the Philippines’ globalization. Employing a narrative inquiry approach, data was gathered through individual interviews, and subsequently analyzed using a thematic analysis framework. The findings indicate that the participants assume three distinct roles within the academy. As experts in English language teaching, they consider themselves the equal of, or even superior to, native English-speaking teachers, which they attribute to their language proficiency, pedagogical skills, and content-based teaching. In their role as educational caretakers, they prioritize their students’ well-being, providing motivation for English language learning, and offering emotional support. Furthermore, they identify themselves as international teachers, having deliberately chosen BGC as their career destination to foster multiculturalism and global citizenship. This study is of particular significance, as it scrutinizes the roles of FETs, frequently categorized as “non-native teachers,” within the context of globalization.

Protaetia brevitarsis larvae have been widely used for traditional medicine and food in East Asia. This research comprised two experiments. The first experiment compared the growth in densities (10, 20, 30 larvae), substrates (commercial, self-made), and containers (Tyvek, zipper bags). In the second experiment, different numbers of air holes (16, 32, 48 holes) in zipper bags experiment is ongoing. The results indicated that the larvae development rate was 72.6%, 69.98%, and 55.33% in 10, 20, and 30 larvae densities, respectively. However, there was no significant difference in larvae survival rate and weight. In the different feed material experiments, the average larvae weight of commercial feed was 1.09g and for self-made, it was 2.85g. The survival rate was 86% and 96% in commercial and self-made feed, respectively. Lastly, while 96% of larvae survived in Tyvek bags, none of the larvae survived in the zipper bags.

외래종 등검은말벌은 양봉농가에 막대한 경제적 피해를 입히는 대표적인 양봉 해충으로 알려져 있다. 본 연구 에서는 경북 의성 및 안동 일대에서 양봉장 주변 2km 지점 내에 발생하는 등검은말벌의 벌집 밀도에 대해 조사하 였다. 조사기간은 2023년 12월 1-20일까지 조사되었으며 육안, 망원경 및 드론을 통해 가능한 한 모든 지점을 조사하였다. 이번 조사에서 발견된 총 등검은말벌 벌집 수는 133개로 조사되었다. 그 중 의성에 위치한 5곳의 양봉장에서는 총 67개로 평균 13.4개, 안동에 위치한 5곳의 양봉장에서는 총 66개로 평균 13.2개로 나타나 두 지역이 거의 유사한 경향을 나타내었다. 10개의 양봉장 중 안동 안기동 일대 양봉장에서 최대 26개의 등검은말벌 벌집이 발견되었으며 의성 단촌 일대 양봉장에서는 4개만이 발견되어 큰 격차를 보였다. 양봉장에 피해는 주는 등검은말벌의 출현 비율은 주변 벌집 밀도에 영향을 직접적으로 받고 있기 때문에 정확한 밀도 및 거리 등을 토대로 적절한 방제 전략이 필요할 것으로 보인다.

2003년 국내에 침입한 외래종 등검은말벌(Vespa velutina nigrithorax)은 현재 남한 전체에 확산된 상태이며 이들로 인한 사회 경제적 피해는 지속적으로 증가하고 있다. 따라서 이들을 방제하기 위한 다양한 방법이 시도되 고 있으나 그 효과는 대부분 미미한 상황이다. 그러나 최근 생물학적 방제에 대한 관심이 집중되는 상황에서 외래종 등검은말벌에 대한 새로운 포식자 2종이 발견되어 이를 보고하고자 한다. 2023년 8월 11일 전북 무주군 적상면 일대에서 오소리 배설물 조사 중 배설물 속에 다량의 말벌 사체가 발견되었고 분석 결과 10여개체의 등검 은말벌로 나타났다. 이는 일반적으로 땅벌류를 주로 포식하는 오소리가 대형 말벌류를 포식하는 첫 기록이다. 또한 2023년 12월 10일 안동 일대에서 등검은말벌 벌집 조사를 하던 중 벌집에 10여 마리의 직박구리가 벌집 외피를 깨고 내부에 있는 애벌레와 성충들을 포식하는 장면이 관찰되면서 벌매에 이어 새로운 조류 포식자를 기록한다.
