It was general that WSD, USD, LSD etc. used in old do not consider area situation of each country and environment differences. But if concept of PBD which is supplement shortcoming of old design method and optimized design is introduced construction could be designed economical and plan systematically. It is purposed that this paper informs explanation and present condition for material and construction part of Asia Concrete Model Code. Also PBD design details which is suitable in comprehensive substance will be presented later.

This paper has developed a Derailment Containment Provision(DCP) between rails to prevent derailed accident of the train. And developed DCP under impact loading was analytically evaluated using LS-Dyna. This paper was simulated using Mat_72R3 and Mat_CSCM for concrete material. To modify the developed DCP, this paper was suggested suitable and reasonable analytical concrete material model.

In this paper, the finite element analysis of RC frame with concrete compressive material models proposed by many researches were conducted. As a results of FEA, the concrete model suggested by Saenz was compatible than other concrete models from the perspective of initial stiffness and maximum strength.

Constitutive modeling of constituent materials is very important for reinforced concrete (RC) frames. Cyclic constitutive behavior of unconfined concrete, confined concrete and reinforcing steel should be well defined in fiber-based discretization of RC sections. This study performs nonlinear dynamic analyses of RC frame structures to investigate the sensitivity of seismic behavior of such frames to different constitutive models of constituent materials. The study specifically attempts to examine confinement effects in concrete modeling and degrading effects in steel modeling, which substantially affects the monotonic, cyclic and seismic responses of RC members and frames. Based on the system level analysis, it is shown that the response of non-ductile frames is less sensitive to confined concrete models while the modeling of reinforcing steel is quite influential to the inelastic response of both non-ductile and ductile frames.
