Looking back on Korea-China relations after diplomatic relations, Korea-China relations were established in August 1992 as the political and economic interests of Korea and China were consistent in the international situation of post-Cold War in the 1990s. After diplomatic relations between Korea and China, exchanges in various fields such as politics, economy, society, and culture expanded, and human and material exchanges increased rapidly. Diplomatic relations between Korea and China contributed greatly to the peace and stability of the Korean Peninsula, and through a huge market attack called China, it served as a decisive opportunity for Korea to achieve the second economic leap forward. However, when the Korean government announced the deployment of THAAD on the Korean Peninsula in 2016, the golden period between Korea and China, which has lasted for about 23 years since 1992, has come to an end. Currently, Korea and China are in a serious situation of antagonism and conflict between the government and the people. Korea and China are important neighbors and partners to each other, and developing bilateral relations well helps greatly protect the national interests of both countries and peace and stability in Northeast Asia. Currently, Korea-China relations are in a tight state, but efforts to improve relations through understanding and communication are continuing. This study will examine the transition process of Korea-China relations and explore China's perception of the Korean Peninsula in the Xi Jinping era. Through this, we analyze the problems currently facing Korea and China and suggest a constructive plan to develop bilateral relations between Korea and China.

The Sinology circle in the Republic of Korea (ROK) has always been paying close attention to the study of Chinese classical literature, especially the study of the works of key writers. Wang Wei research shows distinct temporal characteristics at different times. With the establishment of diplomatic relations between the ROK and China in 1992 as the demarcation point of time, this article summarizes and analyzes the research in Wang Wei in the Korean academic community, consisting of two major periods. On the whole, after the official establishment of diplomatic relations between the ROK and China, the research in Wang Wei in the ROK truly got on the right track. Especially in the 21st century, the research in Wang Wei in the ROK showed signs of prosperity, and with the increasing exchange and cooperation with China and other countries in Sinology research, has become an important component of cross-cultural literary research. It involves extensive content and research perspectives, including the relationship between Wang Wei’s poetry and his paintings, the overall characteristics of Wang Wei’s poetry, the imagery of Wang Wei’s poetry, the relationship of Wang Wei and his poetry with Buddhism, comparative studies of Wang Wei’s poetry, and the reception and dissemination of Wang Wei by Korean poets. This article classifies and analyzes these research findings, sorts out the development process of the research in Wang Wei in the Sinology circle in the ROK, analyzes its current research status, and explore its future development focus and direction.

2022 marks the thirtieth year of diplomatic relations between China and South Korea. Two countries’ relations are not only one of the most important state-to-state relations in East Asia, but also important relations that attract the attention of all over the world. This research used CiteSpace 5.8.R3 software to extract relevant papers on China-Korea relations from CNKI, a representative academic database in China. By extracting authors, institutions, keywords and other elements, this research focused on how the research on China-Korea relations in CAC is carried out and what kind of characteristics it has. This research found that in terms of the total amount, the number of academic achievements of CAC on China-Korea relations is not large, and China-Korea relations have not been the main focus of the CAC. From the perspective of scholars and institutions, CAC have not yet formed a core scholar and core scientific research institution. Judging from the keyword analysis, CAC have involved various fields of China-Korea relations, but their focus was mainly on the major events that happened each year, scholars’ vision was not broad enough, meanwhile the focus did not last long enough.
