This study reports the first records of four coleophorids, namely Coleophora kamchatica (Anikin, 1999), C. lativittella Erschoff, 1877, C. levantis Baldizzone & Oku, 1988, and C. citrarga Meyrick, 1934, in Korea. Additionally, the presence of two species, C. montaniella Oku & Kusunoki, 2018, and C. artemisicolella Bruand, 1855, in Korea has been overlooked in the previous checklist of the family Coleophoridae in Korea, despite there being evidence of their existence. Consequently, with these additions, the total number of known species in Korea has been confirmed to be 42, expanding from the previously identified 36 species. Diagnostic characteristics and photographs of adults and genitalia for the four newly recorded species are provided, along with evidence supporting the presence of the two overlooked species in Korea.

In this study, we sequenced two complete mitogenomes, belonging to the families Scythrididae (Scythris sinensis Felder & Rogenhofer, 1775) and Coleophoridae (Coleophora therinella Tengström, 1848) firstly in each family. Gelechioidea is one of the controversial lineages of Lepidoptera in its phylogenetic position and number of families. Phylogenetic analyses with concatenated sequences of the 13 PCGs and two RNA genes using the maximum likelihood method, placed Coleophoridae, represented only by C. therinella, as a sister group to the families Depressariidae and Autostichidae, with very low nodal support (7%). Scythrididae represented only by S. sinensis was placed as the sister to the family Stathmopodidae, with relatively high nodal support (86%). As more mitogenome sequences from the extended taxonomic groups are obtained further robust phylogenetic inference will be possible.

백령도와 연평도의 곤충상 조사결과, 통나방과 (나비목: 뿔나방상과)의 11종이 서해안지역에서는 처음으로 기록되었다. 그 중 Coleophora adjunctella Hodgkinson, C. chenopodii Oku, 그리고 C. kurokoi Oku는 한반도에서 처음으로 기록되는 종으로 이들 종 동정에 필요한 성충과 암컷 생식기 사진을 함께 기재한다.

통나방과의 1종, Coleophora virgaureae Stainton의 국내분포를 처음으로 보고한다. 경기도 수리산에서 채집된 암컷 표본을 근거로 본 종의 종 동정에 필요한 성충과 생식기 사진을 함께 기재한다.

In a faunistic survey for the family Coleophoridae (Lepidoptera: Gelechioidea) on Is. Yeonpyeong and Is. Baengnyeong in 2010 and 2006, respectively, eleven species of Coleophora were recognized. Among them, three species; Coleophora adjunctella Hodgkinson, C. chenopodii Oku, and C. kurokoi Oku are reported for the first time from Korea. For the newly recorded species, taxonomical remarks and illustration of adults and genitalia are given.

Twenty six species of the genus Coleophora Hübner (Lepidoptera, Coleophoridae) are recognized in the Korean peninsula, including six that are new to Korea: Coleophora albicans Zeller, C. falkovitshella Vives, C. honshuella Baldizzone & Oku, C. japonicella Oku, C. rectimarginalis Li, and C. vestianella (Linnaeus). A key for all known species is given. Bibliographies, collecting localities, distribution, biological information, and some taxonomic notes for the all known species are provided, with illustrations of the male or female genitalia.

일본잎갈나무의 식엽해충인 잎갈나무통나방(Coleophora obducia Meyrlck)의 생활사 및 천적의 종류를 충북지방을 중심으로 조사하였다. 기주식물로는 일본잎갈나무만이 확인되었다. 잎갈나무통나방은 연 1회 발생하였으며 성충의 우화시기는 5월 중순부터 하순까지였고 최성기는 5월 14일경이었다. 성충 1마리당 포란수는 약 44.5개였으며 1엽당 1개씩의 알을 낳았다. 난기간은 약 2주 였고 유충은 잎 속에다 고치를 틀고 월동하였고 4월 말부터 용화하기 시작하였다. 또한 천적으로 포식성곤충인 거미류, 개미류 등과 기생성곤충인 기생파리류와 기생벌류가 조사되었다.

Four new species of Blastobasis Zeller, 1855 are described from Thailand: B. tridigitella, B. basipectenella, B. bispinaella, and B. ianella. Photographs of the imagos and illustrations of the male and female genitalia are provided.

Four new species of Calosima Dietz, 1910 (Holcocerini); Calosima albafaciella, C. albafasciata, C. malikuli, and C. moriutii are described from Thailand. Photographs of the imagos and illustrations of the male and female genitalia are provided as available.

Five species of Blastobasis are described: Blastobasis murcyae, B. moffetti, B. christou, B. orladelaneae from New Caledonia and B. lososi from Fiji Islands. These descriptions represent, for the first time, a report of Blastobasinae (Coleophoridae) on these islands. Photographs of the imagos, illustrations of wing venation, male and female genitalia are provided as available.

곤충계통분류연구센터에 소장되어 있는 표본과 임업연구원에서 최근 채집한 통나방과 표본을 중심으로 검경한 결과 과거의 기록에는 있었으나 그 표본이 확인되지 않아 한국곤충명집의 통나방과 목록에서 제외되어 왔던 통나방과의 1종 Coleophora obducta Meyrick < 잎갈나무통나방 > 이 우리나라에서는 처음으로 발견되어 간략한 재기재와 함께 보고된다.

우리나라에 분포하는 통나방과를 조사하기 위하여 그동안 채집된 표본을 중심으로 정리해 본 결과 16종이 분류, 동정되었으며 그중 15종이 우리나라 미기록 종으로 확인되었다. 이들 16종에 대한 외부형태 및 암수생식기의 특징이 간략하게 기술되었으며, 알려진 기주식물들이 조사되었다.
