The need for total enterprise management that covers from accepting orders, design, cost, procurement, manufacture, and delivery has been recently raised in order for efficient project management of small and medium size plant construction enterprises. This trend is reflected in the introduction of EPM(Enterprise Project Management) solutions by some shipbuilding enterprises and large construction corporations. In step with the trend, small and medium size plant construction enterprises are enabled to provide knowledge base in terms of reducing cost and production period and managing portfolio for accepting orders and attaining contract by inducing customized EPM This study presents a design of customized EPM based on a case study of a company. It exhibits a collaborative/collaboration resource-supply model which can be universally applied to small and medium size job-order production enterprises. The research discusses that under the assumption that information is shared internally between departments on planning, supply, manufacture, and quality control in order to create collaborative environment and close participation is created externally between suppliers and orderers, productivity can be improved in cost reduction through planning efficient collaborative supply model.
In recent years, environments of business are changing due to epoch-making development of information technology and the advent of digital economy ages. It is an active confrontation as to the environments for information. Unlike the large scale enterprises in those days, hower, many small & medium enterprises especially the enterprises which are engaged in the manufacturing industry-aren't participate in information's rank due to the lack of funds, manpower, insufficient management environments, and manager or staff's lack of cognition as to information. So, this paper make a base of establishment for ISP through the establishment of ERP that is used to management activity for small & medium manufacturing enterprises. A way for small & medium enterprises' ERP construction is SMERP S/W for the small & medium enterprises' ERP package which is offered by the Korea chamber of commerce & industry. And, that is applied to the real management environment.
The research purpose of the article is to evaluate the effects of the internal control components on the effectiveness of internal control of transport construction enterprises in Vietnam, on the basis of which we made recommendations to contribute to improving the effectiveness of internal control. Sample was collected from Vietnamese medium and large transport construction enterprises, the total number of sample questionnaires sent was 400, 330 filled-up questionnaires was collected and 250 was used for the study purpose. Quantitative research method was used for the study with the help of the SPSS software. The variables in the model are as follows: the dependent variable is the effectiveness of internal control, 5 independent variables are: control environment, risk assessment, control activities, communication, and monitoring. The results of the analysis explain 80.4% variation as a result of the effect of internal control on the Vietnamese transport construction enterprise. All five components positively affect the effectiveness of internal controls in the order of influence, which are: control activities, control environment, communication, risk assessment and monitoring. This study contributes in providing more empirical evidence about the effects of internal control components on the effectiveness of internal control of transport construction enterprises in Vietnam. The study has proposed a number of recommendations to help transport construction enterprises improve control activities and contribute towards improving the effectiveness of internal control.
