The objective of this study is to identify the priority of elements for effective implementation of MES in small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises trying to develop into smart factories. For this purpose, the Delphi method and the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP) mothod are applied. As a result of the study, the cooperation of the members in the supply chain is the most important factor for small and medium-sized enterprises in order to survive in the global competitive environment. Therefore, the enterprises need to make various efforts to create synergies through the technical strength of suppliers and the cooperation in the process of introducing and operating MES.
According to the generalization of mobile device use in our life, the complexity and diversity of mobile applications are increased, and thus the importance of application test to find faults and errors quickly and easily before release grows. This paper reviews the current automatic testing methodologies for mobile device applications and their element technologies. Also, well-known commercial tools for automatic testing are surveyed and case studies of their recent industry applications in domestic and foreign countries are performed.
The objective of this study is to provide mobile application developers with a standard testing system and service method. By using this testing service, the developers can test the functional performance and quality of their applications from remote sites through Internet. This service standard helps to test applications quickly, easily, and cheaply through the intuitional scenario graphical environment, and becomes a base for constructing a testing system which can be shared by developers, users, and the third parties.
As companies were concerned with developing green logistics and environment, most logistics concerned functions like packaging, loading, storage, transportation and IT studies are active in study. Even if active in research studies, companies still recognized that logistics cost increases as green concepts are applied. For the efficient execution of green logistics management, it is absolutely necessary but difficult to build an optimal logistics system where each function is smoothly interacted through the proper integration and the link of various logistics functions and partners. This study aims to development of green logistics through integration of supply chain functions and partners. With this aim of study, case studies with analysis of embodiment, planning and operations for supply chain of companies are carried out.
After the Uruguay Round, Korean agriculture industry has been protected and reared with government grants. However, until now there has been very minimal development to establish a solid export industry which can make the most of the trade agreements in place. There has been much research on ways to expand agricultural exports in order to respond properly to this ever changing environment and sustainable agricultural industry. As all other export industries, an efficient logistics network is paramount in order to allow the agricultural industry to respond to changes in demand and penetrate global markets. The lack of systematic logistics activities such as packaging, transportation, unloading, storage, and information transfer in farms has been a major factor in the inefficiency of the agricultural industry resulting in minimal development. From this perspective, 3PL was proposed and applied as a way to build on the streamlining of export of agricultural logistics system. The Agri 3PL is considered as an efficient agricultural exports method as a new concept connecting producers with exporters.
In order to determine home delivery service routes, conditions specified for each parcel such as customer-assigned delivery times and parcel contents should be considered, so the conventional route search algorithms have some limits to be applied for home delivery services. In this study, a multi-purpose route searching algorithm is suggested in order to deal with every requirement of deliveries that vary in delivery distances, contents and appointed times. A simulation study to verify the performances of the system with example data of Seoul and Kyungki provinces shows that it significantly improves the customer satisfaction and the productivity of delivery businesses.

"Domestic delivery service" is defined the service to deliver goods or packages from point of senders to point of receiver. With the characteristics of door to door, it is must a service provider should know the exact location of destination assuring best utilization of moving path. Generally, location information consist of postal code and address only, which result in difficulties to identify the precise location of destination. It is relatively less correlated between the information that address refers and practical location in Korea address system. For example, the next door to house number 100 is not always house number 101. Therefore, a delivery man additionally uses a paper map or a GPS navigation which carry extra job to input every code of location to the device in order to know precise location. It is also very inconvenient that every delivery man identify the location that address information refers and make a personal decision of the optimum moving path dropping each destination without calculating provisioning process of whole delivery path. As explained above, it is inefficient to find information delivery service required and to generate the optimum path. In results, these difficulties bring in delay of service and increase of cost. In this point, the contents of the thesis suggest a GPS navigation system easy to obtain accuracy of delivery information which enables to automate optimum moving path based on RFID which contains location information.

The need for total enterprise management that covers from accepting orders, design, cost, procurement, manufacture, and delivery has been recently raised in order for efficient project management of small and medium size plant construction enterprises. This trend is reflected in the introduction of EPM(Enterprise Project Management) solutions by some shipbuilding enterprises and large construction corporations. In step with the trend, small and medium size plant construction enterprises are enabled to provide knowledge base in terms of reducing cost and production period and managing portfolio for accepting orders and attaining contract by inducing customized EPM This study presents a design of customized EPM based on a case study of a company. It exhibits a collaborative/collaboration resource-supply model which can be universally applied to small and medium size job-order production enterprises. The research discusses that under the assumption that information is shared internally between departments on planning, supply, manufacture, and quality control in order to create collaborative environment and close participation is created externally between suppliers and orderers, productivity can be improved in cost reduction through planning efficient collaborative supply model.
전통적인 유리병 부식 공정에서는 공정 투입 전 유리병을 홀더에 장착하는 수작업으로 인해 작업자들의 노동강도가 매우 크고, 부식에 사용되는 불산의 증발로 인한 위험 요소가 매우 크게 나타나고 있다. 본 연구에서는 기존의 병부식 공정을 자동화해주는 로터리 방식 부식 장비와 병을 홀더플레이트에 자동으로 장입하고 부식 후에 탈거하는 메커니즘 개발하고 시제품을 제작하여 이의 성능과 효과를 평가하였다. 그 결과로 노동집약적인 병 장입작업을 자동화하여 힘든 장입작업을 하던 작업자의 노동강도를 덜어줄 수 있었고, 불산으로부터 작업자를 이격시켜서 잠재적인 산업재해를 예방하여 작업환경을 개선하였다.
In order to enhance the quality of the glass bottle and to preserve the contents long, corrosion of the bottle surface is often required. The corrosion operation consists of dangerous and harmful tasks using strong acid such as HF. Thus, the corrosion operation should be automatized to improve the worker's safety. The first step of the automation is to develop the bottle gripping system that automatically grips and fixes the bottle during corrosion operations. The gripping system consists of holders, holder plates, air cylinders, and bottle aligning system. This paper shows the gripping system development procedure.
In this research, OIL (Ontology Inference Layer), one of the ontology language, is applied for classifying product data systematically, defining concepts, and establishing relationship between concepts. By transforming steel product data into XML documentation and managing them, knowledge management based on the logical structure of documents is possible.
The processes of manufacturing FRP sewage disposal tanks are very dangerous and hazardous jobs for workers because of large size and heavy weight of the tank, toxic fiberglass dust, nasty smell, and dangerous tools such as hand-grinders. This paper introduces an automatic manufacturing system of the FRP sewage disposal tank to enhance the safety of workers. The system consists of 3 components: the FRP body rotation jig, the automatic manhole cutting machine, the automatic sanding processing machine. The safety of workers and working environment are greatly improved, because the dangerous jobs are automatized and the toxic fiberglass dust is automatically collected. Also, the productivity is greatly improved and the cost is reduced.
Recently, many companies want to accept and operate ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system in their fields ERP does not only include business, but also include finance, account, trade, personnel and BPR(Business Process Reengineering). Especially, it is necessary to have ERP system for companies which have lots of external business such as trade and communication sector. And then, in this paper, I will think about OLTP (On-Line Transaction Processing) system for operating ERP system and improve its defects that can operate more effective sales, circulation, demand plan. But it is regrettable that I can not make a comparative analysis with other systems because the ERP system is still on the introductory stage for the company studies and the benefits have not been realized yet. Another limitation of this research is its narrow scope of study in which only the raw material inventory system for a single company is covered. In the future, however, ERP system would be adopted by many corporations, which would help us to launch a comparative study on the results of ERP system implementation as a future direction of research.

One of the most important issue of the present day is the application of Internet. The development of Internet technologies makes manufacturing enterprises break spacial barriers between users and shop floors, and collect various field data in remote sites. In this research, an Internet-based remote control system for a small-sized automated storage and retrieval system is developed for the purpose of real-time monitoring and control of automatic production equipment. The developed system has a client-server architecture and transmits real-time images of the automated storage and retrieval system to a client by ar CCD camera connected to a server. Based on the transmitted images, the client sends commands to PLC of the server, and part storage and retrieval tasks are executed.

고객의 요구는 더욱더 개성화, 다양화되고 있고, 글로벌 시장은 다양한 가치관, 문화, 전통을 바탕으로 지역적인 개성을 추구한다. 전 세계에 그물처럼 엮어진 인터넷망은 시간과 거리의 제약을 완전히 없앴다. 기업은 국가와 대륙을 초월한 세계 무대에서 치열한 경쟁을 전개하고 있다. 이러한 상황에서 고객의 요구를 파악하여 이에 부합되는 제품의 생산 및 판매가 기업 경영에 있어서 주요 이슈로 등장하고 있으며, 이러한 추세는 제품 개발 기술의 보편화로 고객에 대한 서비스의 차별화로 집중되고 있다. 이런 수요를 충족시키기 해서는 CRM(Customer Relationship Management) 개념이 도입되어야 하고, 제조공정을 개선하며 경쟁력을 강화하기 위해서는 모든 기업이 고객의 가치를 최대화 할 수 있는 동기화 생산이 필수적이라고 하겠다. 본 연구에서는 CRM의 고객정보분류 방법 중 하나인 FART(F;Frequency, R;Recency, A;Amount, T;Type of merchandise/service)를 이용하여 주요고객을 분류하고, 이 정보를 Drum-Buffer-Rope 스케줄링 방법에 반영하여 기업의 생산능력과 우수고객 주문을 고려한 일정계획 방법을 제시한다. 이 결과로 우수고객에 대한 서비스 수준을 향상시키고 궁극적으로는 기업의 이윤을 최대화하는데 기여하고자 한다.
