The process of Apparel Product Development requires several major steps such as Pattern Digitizing, Grading, Marker Making, and Cutting Out. The current operation for Pattern Digitizing is conducted operators who amend apparel patterns on a computer after digitizing them based on a point-input method. The current process is laborious, time-consuming, and expensive due to error-prone work that leaves much to be desired in solution expansion. These studies develop an automated system for apparel pattern input based on vectorising technique. Supporting industrial standardization (the detailed targets for the system development) minimizes the involvement of operators and include: automatic recognition of pattern domain, automatic recognition of sample shape, and inner part recognition performing apparel characteristic function. The following picture shows an example using our system developed with a women bra pattern. Figure 2 represents women a bra pattern Figure 3 represents data implemented on the automated system we developed The results of our study : 1. Analytical speed: under 4 seconds in resolution 150 dpi, image size A3. 2. Length error: under 0. 2mm. 3. Outline: 100% extract of outlines cutting and marker pattern. 4. Pattern elements: classification automatically and editing available by user. 5. Pattern division: try one acting scanning various pattern. 6. Data entry/output: converting of DXF, AAMA, TIP, DIGIT. We developed an automated system based on vectorising software for implementation of apparel patterns. The cost of effective system repeatedly processes digitizing tasks with high quality in a few minutes. The system will contribute to the apparel industry field by implementing automatic steps for recognition and classification pattern.

The purpose of this study was to develop English writing instruction models in order to improve 1st grade high school students’ writing ability under the communicative framework. A writing pattern ‘describing pictures and making an inference’ was utilized to develop writing instruction models and lesson plans. In order to accommodate a wider range of teachers’ needs in high school, the study took into consideration two teaching conditions, learner proficiency levels (high, mid, and low) and skill integration (listening, writing, and reading, writing) in the development process. A total of five English writing instruction models and lesson plans for different teaching conditions were developed using two chapters extracted from two textbooks. The characteristics of the newly developed models and lesson plans were provided so that teachers can easily modify them for their own needs in the practice. Further, the writing pattern ‘describing pictures and making an inference’ turned out to be quite adaptable to real teaching conditions and seemed to contribute to enhancing students’ creativity as well as their writing skills. At the end, study limitations were discussed.

The purpose of this study was to develop the pattern-making for Korean glove. To develop the pattern-making for glove this study comprehensive list of candidate hand data was reviewed and the manufacturers(career over th 15 years) were interviewed on the method of glove. The results of regression analysis(hand data) were as follows (unit: cm): wrist thumb tip length = middle finger length + 3.22, hand bread = 1.25 × middle finger length + 2.18, middle finger breadth at dist = 0.23 × index finger circumference + 0.4, maximum hand circumference = 3.15 × index finger circumference + 4.13, middle finger circumference = 0.91 × index finger circumference + 0.47, maximum hand thickness = 0.69 × index finger circumference -0.02. Hand measurements for glove pattern-making were developed: There were palmar hand length, hand circumference, index finger circumference and middle finger length.
