Drinking spaces such as bars, taverns, inns, cantinas, bierkellers, offer important social community spaces. Within the UK, a Pub, short for Public House is “a place, especially in Great Britain or Ireland, where alcoholic drinks can be bought and drunk and where food is often available” (Cambridge Dictionary, 2022) and is one of the most common and traditional drinking spaces. Sadly we are losing pubs at an alarming rate, due, over the last 20 years to many factors including government interventions (changes in the structure of the industry), increased competition from other leisure activities and high levels of beer duty/tax (BBPA, 2018) and more recent factors such as struggles to fill vacancies, Brexit and covid (Wells and Waehning, 2022). Now, more than ever, we need to understand consumer behaviour related to pubs and to understand how consumers choose pubs and what features of pubs are important to them.

PURPOSES : In this study, we attempted to derive the optimal operation plan for urban public transportation routes by verifying changes in demand for use according to factors affecting public transportation. METHODS : First, the factors affecting changes in demand for public transportation were drawn. Second, the appropriate areas to be analyzed and their main routes were selected. Third, the basic data required for estimating public transportation traffic demand were collected through transportation card data. Fourth, basic networks and routes in TOVA were established for public transportation assignment. Finally, through traffic assignment, changes in usage demand owing to factors affecting bus routes were verified, and the optical operation plan was derived. RESULTS : Among the three routes selected for analysis, the rearranged B2 route increased by 662 from 6,142 to 6,804 per day, with the largest increase in daily demand. In addition, the number of stops increased with the access time, but there was no change in the average congestion. CONCLUSIONS : Through this study, it is believed that in can be used as the basic data on how to improve bus routes in local governments from the perspective of operators by analyzing the effectiveness of rearranging routes and drawing optimal operation measures.

This study was conducted to suggest policy implications of providing public function of organic farming. Define the difficulties of rice farmers to provide public utility of organic farming. By evaluating individual economic values through WTA estimates, its meaningful to grasp farmers preference for organic farming practice and conversion. These results could be used as useful data for future organic agriculture policy. For the expansion of organic farming, it is required to evaluate correct and accurate economic value and reflect this in policy.
