        The construction of a moment connection for a rectangular hollow section (RHS) column and a H-shaped beam is difficult because the RHS is a closed section. When a inner diaphragm is used for such a connection, in general, it is installed after cutting the HSS columns, which results in increased construction work. This paper suggests a new fabrication method to overcome such problems: An inner diaphragm is welded to inside a C-shaped section first, and then a column is fabricated by welding two C-shaped sections. This fabrication method is superior to a classic method in terms of constructibility. An experimental and a numerical study using Ansys 9.0 were performed in order to compare the strength of connections with respect to the presence of concrete, the corner shape of diaphragm, and the axis of loading. The experimental results including initial stiffness and ultimate loads are reported and the analytical results including load transfer mechanism, degree of stress concentration, and strain distribution are also reported.

        The concrete-filled tube (CFT) column has the excellent structural performance. But it is difficult to connect with column and beam because of closed section. Its Solution, 2 members of ㄷchennel in which Internal diaphragm is installed were welded beforehand and the method of making Rectangular Steel Tube was proposed. According to upside and downside junction shape, Internal diaphragm suggested as symmetric specimen and asymmetric specimen. The upper and lower diaphragm of the Symmetric specimen used the same horizontal and The upper diaphragm of the Asymmetric specimen used the horizontal plate and the lower diaphragm used the vertically plate. In this research, 4 T-shape column to beam steps connections were tested with cyclic loading experiment in order to evaluate the structural capability of the offered connection. Symmetric specimens be a failure in 0.03rad from beam flange. And Asymmetric specimens be a failure in 0.05rad from column interface. The comparison results of All specimens shown similar to energy absorption capacity in 0.02rad.

        This paper proposes a standard open source software development guidance and an evaluation index for the productivity related to Seam 2.0 and Spring 2.5 framework. However, there is no comparison research about the performance of Seam 2.0 and Spring 2.5 framework with same identical platform. Quantitative analysis is supported as a part of LoC analysis. There is a limit to develop the updated software with no the specific evaluating index for the productivity of the software. This work proposes an specific index for evaluating the productivity of Seam 2.0 and Spring 2.5 framework on a platform. Base on the result, the specific guidance of the developing software is obtained.

        현재 이동용 캐리지에 장착하여 사용하고 있는 용접기의 경우는 용접토치가 고정이 되어 비드 폭이 일정한 부분의 직선용접에 주로 사용되고 있다. 이러한 용접기는 비드 폭이 일정 폭 이상으로 큰 경우는 용접작업이 복잡해지고 여러 번 반복해서 위치를 바꾸어가며 용접을 해야 한다. 본 연구에서는 비드 폭이 넓은 곳에서 용접토치를 일정한 폭으로 움직여주는 기능을 갖도록 시스템을 구성하였다. 반자동 캐리지에 용접선 추적센서, 센서이동용 모터 슬라이드, 위치 추적용 로터리 엔코더 및 MCU(80C196KC)와의 인터페이스회로를 설치하여 자동으로 용접선을 추적할 수 있게 설계하고, 용접기의 위빙실험을 하여 그 성능을 실험적으로 확인하였다.

        용접은 가장 널리 사용되는 금속접합기술이며 조선, 자동차, 항공, 플랜트설비 등 산업현장의 여러 분야에서 활용되고 있는 근대산업의 기본적인 생산기술이다. 그러나 용접작업 자체가 강한 빛과 전류, 유해가스등을 발생하고 있으며, 다품종 소량 생산하는 작업장에서는 규격화된 물건을 만들어 내는 제조업에 비해서 자동화가 어렵다. 따라서 범용적으로 모든 형태의 용접할 부위인 용접선을 검출하여 자동으로 용접하기란 상당히 어려우며, 본 논문에서는 삼각파 형태의 굴곡을 가진 용접선을 검출하고자 스트레인게이지를 응용한 센서를 이용하였고, 이를 직선구동이 가능한 반자동 캐리지에 탑재하여 용접선을 자동으로 추적하여 용접하는 실험을 제안하였다. 캐리지는 직선 전진만 하고 있더라도 굴곡이 있는 용접선을 자동으로 검출하여 용접이 가능하도록 하였다.

        Recently, the fact that welding conditions are dangerous for men and the shapes of seams are complex enforced the welding system to be automatic. In order to obtain this target, are chip Microprocessor controlled welding system is devised in this study. The tracking of seam shape is achieved by applying a differential transformer and by using a program developed. This welding system mainly consists of a sensor, the differential transformer, a servo power amplifier, a control system, and DC motors. It is verified that the developed welding system is able to track three kinds of seam shapes.

        To develop various usable water from coal seam gas (CSG) water that needs to be pumped out from coal seams for methane gas production, a feasibility study was carried out, evaluating and analysing a recent report (Coal Seam Gas Water Management Policy 2012) from Queensland State Government in Australia to suggest potential CSG water treatment options for fit-for-purpose usable water production. As CSG water contains intrinsically high salinity-driven total dissolved solid (TDS), bicarbonate, aliphatic carbon, Ca+2, Mg+2 and so on, it was found that appropriate treatment technologies are required to reduce the hardness below 60 mg/L as CaCO3 by setting the reduction rates of Ca+2, Mg+2 and Na+ concentrations, as well as TDS reduction. Also, Along with fiber filtration and membrane separation, an oxidation degradation process was found to be required. Along with salinity reduction, as CSG water contains organic compounds (TOC: 248 mg/L, C6 -C9: <20 mg/L and C10 - C36: <60 mg/L), compounds with relatively high molecular weights (C10 - C36) need to be treated first. Therefore, this study suggests a combined system design with filtration (Reverse osmosis) and oxidation reduction (electrolysis) technologies, offering proper operating conditions to produce fit-for-purpose usable water from CSG water.

        Coal seam gas (CSG) production involves extracting methane from coal seams with ground water which is so called a primary by-product of this process, and is often rich in salts and other constituents. The predicted large volume and variable quality of this water make water management a topic associated with CSG production. In the past, the amount of this water used to be pumped into the vacant aquifer, or into the river during the life of individual production wells. Australian government make a strategies for management and beneficial use of the water. From this point of view, a detailed assessment has not been undertaken, it is necessary for water resource production to analysis the "Coal Seam Gas Water (CSG Water) Management Policy Study" published in Queensland, Australia.
