PURPOSES : This study intended to derive a methodology that can evaluate water splash caused by distress on the road surface based on experimental methods and to present quantitatively by analyzing the impact on road users. METHODS : Through literature review, the current problems of road pavement and drainage facility standards, the factors of road splash caused by puddle was selected to measure damage. Field measurements were conducted by setting different conditions for each factors and setting different conditions based on the hypothesis. In addition, water splash by surface distress type and puddle was measured to analyze using statistical techniques from correlation to multi-regression. RESULTS : The maximum and effective distance due to road splash increases as the driving speed, regardless of vehicle load and tyre type. Splash was measured according to the type of road distress to analyze the correlation between the influencing factors, and there was a weak correlation between the width and length of the puddle, depth and the effective distance. In addition, the interaction analysis showed that there was an interaction between the width of the water hole and the depth of puddle. Moreover, based on the multi-regression analysis, it was not statistical significant. This is judged to that the number of data samples used for this analysis is limited because the diversity of puddle conditions cannot be set differently for each type of distress. CONCLUSIONS : Since the distress of depending on the size, depth and shape of the road surface, it is necessary to calculate it and present maintenance standards, so this results present an experimental methodology that can intuitively evaluate damage cased by unestablished puddle. From this results, this is expected to be used as a quantitative indicator to evaluate the satisfaction of road users as a functional performance according to road surface condition.
This study investigated the stress-related metabolites and hormones in blood and compared the muscle structure to identify the reason for blood splash in Hanwoo beef. Five slaughter houses were selected based on the region (Seoul, Gimhae, Jungbu, Naju, and Goryung) and a previous blood splash record. In total, three-hundred eighty blood samples (n=380) and forty-two muscle tissues (n=42) of control and blood splash Hanwoo beef were collected during the slaughter process and beef grading. Blood metabolites were analyzed including glucose, lactate, creatinine, urea-N, and hormones such as cortisol and thyroxin. Muscle fiber, fiber bundle, and capillary wall thickness were measured under microscope. The concentrations of blood glucose, lactate, and urea-N were not significantly different between the control and the blood splash samples. Cortisol and thyroxin levels were not significantly different in both samples. In contrast, the creatinine level was significantly increased (p<0.05) in the blood splash samples. There were also no significant differences observed in muscle fiber, bundles, and capillary wall thickness between the control and the blood splash tissues. In conclusion, blood metabolites, hormones, and muscle fiber showed no differences between the control and the blood splash animal. However, increased creatinine levels may be used as an indicator for identifying blood splash prior to slaughter in Hanwoo.
The purpose of this paper was to apply and express to a particle production system based on mathematical models to raise a cloud of spray. It was used that a crash was used to conflict expanding wave generation model and applying the block cover. Also, we applied to the KD-tree in order to reduce trial search. The block cover was created with the creation on the phase of height values. The waves and wind made by character's emotions, which input use as the value. Reached a certain level in both cases, waves and waves are generated a cloud of spray by the collision. The repetition of generated waver was applied with the Windows function. Handling conflict is affected in a cloud of spray. Generated KD-Tree renewal grid is beyond the range in block cover and is not a uniform height. It is built that the processing of collision is not performed by the level on height of a wave. This process was designed by the best statistical analysis after reviewing sufficient factual nature. This paper is applied with a cloud of splay for emotional online games like game that tried to apply the spray can apply for the environment. If you use a physically-based model requires a lot of calculation time, the physically-based models ask a lot of complicated calculation time for solver this program and high-performance systems. However, a block-cover can be role of a very effective way for enough performance. Through the analysis result can be obtained a sufficient result in easy implementation of the cloud of spray
