The purpose of this study was to isolate an active constituent from the essential oil of Eugenia caryophyllata leaves and evaluate its insecticidal activity against Pochazia shantungensis nymphs and adults. According to chromatographic and spectroscopic analyses, the active constituent of E. caryophyllata leaves was identified as eugenol. Based on LC50 values and structural analogues of eugenola gainst the P. shantungensis nymphs and adults, isoeugenol (LC50, 83.29 and 91.03 mg/L) exhibited the highest insecticidal activity, followed by methyl isoeugenol (105.61 and 114.48 mg/L), eugenol (124.44 and 143.24 mg/L), methyl eugenol (126.31 and 143.84 mg/L), and acetyl eugenol (165.11 and 170.06 mg/L). Insecticidal activity against P. shantungensis was dependent on the presence of a functional group in 4-ally-2-methoxyphenol. These results indicate that E. caryophyllata oil and eugenol analogues might be potential alternative synthetic insecticidal agents.
Various hybrid dampers have been developed in Korea to control the vibration due to a wind and earthquake. In order to minimize the installment space, cost and construction process, the new hybrid friction damper is developed. This hybrid damper is composed of several rotary friction components having two frictional joint. Because of these components, the building vibration due to wind and earthquake can be mitigated by hybrid friction damper. In this paper, various dependency tests were carried out to evaluate on the structural performance of two joint rotational friction component of the hybrid damper. Test results show that two joint rotational components do not depend on a displacement and a frequency of forcing but friction coefficients is reducing as a clamping force is increasing.
본 연구에서는 효과적인 인터넷 기반 구조해석 플랫폼을 개발하기 위하여 컴포넌트 모델을 제시하였다. 구조해석의 특성상 복잡한 알고리즘을 수행해야 하므로 다수 사용자에 대한 원활한 서비스를 위해 서버 연산 보다는 X-Internet을 이용한 클라이언트 연산을 실시하였다. 기존 상용 해석프로그램들의 사용자 편의적인 인터페이스에 부합되도록 Smart Client를 이용하여 윈도우 기반 인터페이스를 구축하였으며, 개발된 플랫폼의 재사용 및 확장성을 고려하여 컴포넌트 기반 프로그래밍을 함으로써 수정 및 변화에 능동적인 대처가 가능하게 하였다. 컴포넌트는 분할-단순화의 기법을 적용하여 전체 시스템을 표현하였고, 상위 컴포넌트와 하위 컴포넌트, 컴포넌트와 객체간의 관계에는 공통 인터페이스를 사용함으로써 라이브러리간의 연결을 명확히 구분하였다. 설계검토를 XML WebService를 사용하여 이기종 플렛폼과의 데이터 통신을 실시함으로써 차후의 통합 CAE에서의 데이터 교환의 기틀을 제시하였다. 2차원 트러스 구조물의 정적해석 및 설계검토를 수행하여 개발한 플랫폼의 효율성을 검증하였다.
