Background: Despite frequent shoulder injuries of rotator cuff muscle of golfers by the result of overuse and poor swing mechanics, there is little research on shoulder specific rehabilitation exercises for injured rotator cuff muscle and golf swing
Objective: To examined the effect of rehabilitation exercise for golfers on the X factor and ground reaction force (GRF) according to phase of the golf swing.
Design: Crossover study Methods: The participants were 13 amateur golfers selected for a 4 week rehabilitation exercise for golfers. A rehabilitation exercise for golfers consisting of 5 steps and 4 items (sleeper stretch, full side plank, push up to plank, high plank knee unders) were applied to all participants. A three dimensional motion analyzer and force platform (SMART-E, BTS, Italy) were used to measure the X factor (angle between shoulder and pelvis at top of back swing) and GRF according to phase of the golf swing. All dependent variables were measured before and after exercise. The collected data was analyzed using the paired t test and SPSS 21.0.
Results: The GRF had a statistically significant increase in the impact phase and ratio impact/weight after rehabilitation exercise for golfers (p<.05). The Xfactor, GRF in top of back swing and finish were no significant differences between before and after exercise (p>.05).
Conclusions: These results suggested that rehabilitation exercise for golfers was effective for increasing GRF in the impact phase and ratio impact/weight for amateur golfer.
This study began to learn wether or not satisfaction factor of rural tourism is effective to visit for the ordinary foreign people. Research method was parallel-site investigation literature, questionnaire. The analytical data of the study, literature 40 reviews, questionnaire 179 survey in 200 of the subject was using. Measurement and scale was set factors of satisfaction with 'Transportation · Infrastructure', 'Festival · Experience Program', 'Place', 'Room and Food', 'Local People', and 'Buying the Local Product' through the previous studies and preliminary survey. In the statistical analysis method, frequency analysis, crosstabs, multiple regression analysis and a structural equation model analysis was performed, using SPSS and AMOS program. The Structural analysis results showed 'Place' and 'Local People' have an positive effect on the 'Overall Satisfaction'. Satisfaction of the 'Festival · ExperienceProgram', had a major impact also 'Intention of Revisit'. Finally for rural tourism fascination, the contents such as the distinctive local attraction, human resources, information transmission and convenient use is more important than the format and scale.
In plants, eukaryotic translation elongation factor 1B (eEF1B) is composed of three subunits, eEF1Bα, eEF1Bβ and eEF1B γ. Two subunits are nucleotide exchange subunits (eEF1Bα and eEF1Bβ) and one is a structural protein (eEF1Bγ). In the previous study, eEF1B was identified as a common host factor for several RNA viruses. To test which subunit of eEF1B is essential for Potato virus X (PVX) replication, the virus-induced gene silencing (VIGS) for eEF1Bα, β or γ was performed in Nicotiana benthamiana and green fluorescent protein (GFP)-tagged PVX was inoculated. PVX-GFP accumulation was decreased when eEF1Bβ or γ subunit was silenced, whereas eEF1Bα had no effect on PVX-GFP accumulation in inoculated leaves. Targeting induced local lesions in genome (TILLING) was performed using a Capsicum annuum EMS population to test whether mutations in eEF1Bβ subunit affect virus infection in pepper. We obtained 81 eEF1Bβ mutant lines consisted of 16,759 individuals. These mutant lines are being tested to validate the function of eEF1B β in PVX replication.
