The family Erebidae is acknowledged as a highly diverse group in Lepidoptera. The genus Ischyja Hübner, 1823 has been known from India, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, southern China, Borneo, and Sundaland, predominantly in the old world tropic region. This research presents identification of two species, which have been in Vietnam for the first time. With these new findings, the total number of Ischyja species has increased to four. We present a checklist of them, including descriptions and illustrations of the newly recorded species.
The Sphingidae are a family of moths (Lepidoptera, Bombycoidae), commonly known as hawk moths. The hawk moths form a family of over 1500 species of small to very large moths (40-150mm) occurring on all continents except Antarctica. The most conspicuous aspect of sphingid biology is the capacity of the moths for fast, long distance, and often migratory flight. Sphingidae adult are appropriately shaped with narrow wings and a fusiform abdomen. Sphingidae is very popular group with both amateur and professional naturalists, but the taxonomic study of the Sphingidae in Cambodia has been done by a few foreign entomologists. In the present study, we were collected 12 times from Cambodia in 10 area for 6 province. As the results of this study, about 455 species of 289 genera of 18 families belong to Lepidoptera (NIBR, 2009-2014). Of which, about 60 species of 30 genera of family Sphingidae were identified from Cambodia. Most of them are recorded for the first time in Cambodia.

We investigated Korean cave species of the superfamily Staphylinoidea from 32 local cave sites and found 21 species belonging to three families. Among them, three species, Geodromicus hermani Watanabe, G. nipponensis Watanabe and Bolitobius parasetiger Schulke belonging to Staphylinidae are newly recorded from Korea and 15 species are newly added in Korean cave-dwelling fauna. Together with one species recorded but not found in this study, a total of 22 species of Staphylinoidea are recorded in Korean cave-dwelling fauna.
A total of 56 species belonging to 33 genera of Korean tenebrionid beetles are arranged provisionally, of these 5 species are newly added from Korean fauna.
A sum of 84 species belonging to 44 genera under 9 families of Korean water beetles are reviewed and listed tentatively, among them 14 species are newly recorded from Korean fauna.
A total of 222 species belonging to 117 genera under 5 families of Korean Curculionoidea sensu stricto are listed, among them 72 species are newly added for Korean fauna.
A sum of 352 species belonging to 93 genera under 7 families of Korean Caraboidea are revised, among them 27 species are newly recorded for Korean fauna. Synonymies and distribution data are given.
This paper is a provisional check list of Staphylinidae n Korea which the available synonyms for each species are arranged. In this paper, a total of 109 species belonging to 50 genus under 13 subfamilies are listed. Among them, 32 species are reported for the first time from Korea.
In this study, the regular inspection check-list for vulnerable areas of debris flow was developed in order to cope with expected debris flow in urban areas. First, items for regular inspection were obtained by the Delphi technique, and the regular inspection check-list was developed based on obtained items. The check-list was verified and improved by means of applying it in 2 test-bed site.
