커뮤니케이션 방법 중 모두가 이미 인지하고 있는 함축된 코드가 있다면 소통은 훨씬 원활할 수 있다. 다시 말해, 기존에 발생했던 어떠한 문화적 혹은 사회적 사 건을 은유하여 그 사건과 유사한 내용을 해당 문화권에서 언급할 때는 반복적 설 명이 굳이 필요하지는 않다. 그 대표적인 경우가 패러디다. 패러디는 계획된 반복 적 표현으로 우회적인 설득양식을 가지고 있다. 이 독특한 표현은 포스트모던에 이 르러 개념적 혼란을 겪고 있다. 그 이유는 원래 벌레스크나 트레비스타와 같은 유 사한 특성을 가지고 있었고, 또 하나는 비판적 의식으로 전통적인 예술과 현실 사 이를 검증하는 포스트모던 과정에서 패러디의 유사 표현양식들이 범람하고 있기 때문이다. 현재는 패러디된 것을 패러디하는 다중적인용의 등장으로 개념적인 혼란 은 더 심화되었다. 그 주범은 바로 포스트모더니즘일 수 있다. 또한 패러디는 오랜 역사를 통해 그 의미를 확장시키고 있으므로 명확하게 정의하기에는 진화의 속도 가 너무 빠르다. 그렇지만 포스트모던과의 충돌로 패러디의 발전은 고사하고 종결 로 이루어질 수도 있다. 훼손된 패러디의 복구는 어렵지만 패러디의 정의에 근접할 수 있는 가장 기본적인 가이드라인을 형식주의와 구조주의에서 발견할 수 있다. 본 논문은 형식주의와 구조주의적 관점에서 정의한 패러디의 요소들을 벨라스케스의 ‘궁녀들’과 그 유사작품들을 병치하여 패러디를 규명하는데 그 목적을 둔다.

If there are implicit codes that we have already known in a communication method, it will be easy to understand to communicate. In other words, we don't need another explanation when we comment about similar context for metaphorical expression with previous social or cultural occurrence. Parody is the best example. Parody has a roundabout method of persuasion with planned and repetitive expression. This unique expression suffers from conceptual confusion in post-modern era. The first reason is that the parody has similar character with burlesque and travesty and another reason is that overflow of fake parodies in post-modern process to verify between traditional art and the reality with critical sense. Conceptual confusion is intensified to come out multiple quotations which are a takeoff of another parodies at present. Postmodernism may be the main cause of it. There has been rapid progress to define clearly because Parody has broaden its power and its history. However, evolution in the conflict of Postmodernism may be ended without any advanced. It could not be easy to restore of harm Parody's reputation. A basic guideline in that the closest definition of Parody may be discovered Formalism and Structuralism. This thesis focuses on tracing Parody in the juxtaposition of Velazquez' 'Las Meninas' and their Parody works that are factors defined of Parody in a view of Formalism and Structuralism.
