본 연구는 예비유아교사가 교사양성과정에서 경험하는 학업과 진로에 대한 어려움을 탐색해 봄으로 유아교육과 학생들의 전공 만족도를 높이고 질 높은 유아교사 양성을 위한 기초 자료 를 제공하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 4년제 A대학교 유아교육과 재학생 6명을 대상으로 면담, 저널쓰기를 실시하였으며 수집된 자료에 대하여 질적분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 예비 유아교사들은 유아교사직에 대한 불확신과 갈등 속에서 어려움과 불안을 나타내었다. 여기에는 어려운 전공 공부, 좋은 교사가 될 수 있을지에 대한 고민이 포함되며 이로 인하여 자신이 유 아교육과의 적성에 맞는지, 다른 진로는 없는지 고민하고 갈등하는 모습을 나타내었다. 둘째, 예비유아교사들은 바쁜 일상과 경쟁 속에서 어려움과 불안을 나타내었다. 여기에는 발표와 과 제 압박, 취업 경쟁 사회적 분위기가 포함되며 이로 인하여 초조함과 갈등의 모습이 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 토대로 직전교육의 질적 수준 제고를 위한 내용과 방향을 제시하였다.

This study aims to provide the basic data for improving the satisfaction of pre-service kindergarten teachers, and enhance quality of kindergarten teacher training courses by investigating the difficulties 3-year training course. For the purpose, the study proceeded journal writings and interviews with 6 students of early childhood education department at A university (4years), and implemented the qualitative analysis for the collected data. Its results are as followed. First, pre-service kindergarten teachers were concerned about their aptitudes and careers because of the difficult studies. They also experienced stress, reduced desire on study, and employment anxiety through competitiveness with colleagues and tough environments. Second, pre-service kindergarten teachers are concerned about high competition, so they were not able to have positive attitude to prepare the employment examination for the stable occupation
