본고는 ‘조애구새(趙賹璽)’에 대해 관건이 되는 글자를 심층적으로 분 석한 다음 전국시기의 고새(古璽)와 진(秦)·한(漢)·위(魏)·진(晉)나라 황제와 황후가 사용하였던 옥새제도와 옥새실물들을 비교 분석하였다. 이 를 통해, ‘조애구새’는 삼진(三晉)의 조새(趙璽)이며, 여러 학자들이 주장하 는 ‘조태후새(趙太后璽)’가 아님을 증명해 내었다. 일반적으로 ‘태후(太后)’ 라고 읽었던 글자는 마땅히 ‘구( )’자로 읽어야 하며, 성씨가 ‘조(趙)’이고 이름이 ‘애구(賹)’인 개인의 인장이라고 할 수 있다. 본고는 ‘조애구새’에 보이는 글자들의 고석과 유형분류를 계기로 전국 시기 고새의 유형분류와 국가별 표준을 심층적으로 논의하였다. ‘도상새 (圖像璽)’의 종류, ‘성어새(成語璽)’의 기본적인 문자내용, 각국의 사새 (私璽)에 자주 보이는 성씨와 독특한 성씨, 관새(官璽)의 기본 구성형식 및 종류 등과 같이 서로 다른 고새의 특징을 명확하게 파악한다면 고새 의 속성에 대해 초보적인 판단을 할 수 있을 것이다. 다만 각국 문자의 구성특징과 서사풍격에 익숙하다면 각국 새인(璽印)의 형식특징을 이해 하고 각국 새인의 독특한 관직명, 기관명 및 각국의 독특한 지명, 호칭 등에 대한 정확한 판단을 토대로 하여야 전국시기 고새의 국가별 차이를 명확하게 판별하는데 도움이 될 수 있을 것이다.

Based on the analysis of the keywords of the “Xiao (Zhao) Aigou (賹 )” seal, compared with the ancient seals of the Emperor or Empress in Qin Han Wei Jin on the real system and objects, The seal of “Zhao Aigou” is not the Zhaoempress dowager’s as scholars’ view. This character should be “gou ( )” but not “empress dowager”. It is a private seal of Three Jin (三晉), and the owner’s family name is “zhao”, first name is “Aigou”. In this article, I try to further explore the properties of ancient seals of all categories and some basic standards of the region and country take the “Xiao (Zhao) Aigou” seal words and attribute judgment as an opportunity. Only to master the characteristics of different attributes of the ancient seal, such as the types of image seal, the basic contents and texts of idioms seal, the common family name and the unique first name of all private seals, as well as the basic form and type of the official seals, we can have a preliminary judgment on the properties of the ancient seals. Only have an intimate knowledge of the configuration features and style of writing with different characters, understand the shape features of each region or country’s seals, correctly grasp the official name, organization name peculiar to each department seal, and the specific names or appellations of every country and so on, we can help to accurately judge the national attributes of the different ancient seals.

本文通過對“肖(趙)賹”璽關鍵字的分析, 以及與戰國古璽和秦漢魏 晉帝后用璽制度和實物的比較, 筆者認爲, 趙賹璽當爲三晉趙璽, 並 非諸家認爲的趙太后璽。所謂的“太后”應是“ ”字, 爲姓氏“趙”名“賹 ”之私璽。 本文以“肖(趙)賹”璽的釋字、 屬性的判定爲契機, 進一步探討了戰 國古璽的屬性類別和分國的一些基本標準。只有掌握了不同屬性古璽的 特徵, 如圖像璽的種類, 成語璽的基本文字內容, 各國私璽常見的姓氏和 特有的姓氏, 以及官璽的基本構成形式和種類, 就能對古璽的屬性有了 初步的判斷。只有在熟悉各國文字的構形特點和書寫風格, 了解各系璽印 的形制特徵, 正確掌握各系璽印特有的職官名、 機構名, 以及各國特有 的一些地名、 稱謂等的基礎上, 才會有助於準確判斷戰國古璽的國別。
