현대 사회의 인간은 사회화 과정으로 소외를 겪고 있다. 개인의 소외 문제 해결을 위한 디자인의 역할은 가능할 것인가. ‘인간을 위한 디자인’이라는 근본적인 접근으로 개인의 존엄과 가치관에 주목하였다. 21세기의 디자인은 변화하는 개인의 다양한 가치에 기준을 고려하여야 한다. 하나의 방법은 개인의 성장기에 형성되었던 가치관에 관한 경험을 이해하는 것이 다. 또한, 개인의 독창적인 가치를 검증하여 사회화할 필요가 있다. 개인은 사회화를 통하여 자아실현을 이루고, 소외의 문 제도 해결될 것이다. 그리고 관련된 전문가의 융합이 필요하다. 브랜드, 마케팅, 소비자, 기술, 디자인 분야의 조언을 통하 여 가치 모델을 만든다. 개인의 가치 모델을 타인의 공감을 통하여 사회화되도록 디자인을 한다. 그리하여 사회는 더욱 건 전하게 변화할 것이다. 사전 연구를 보강하여 공감디자인 과정 5단계를 세부 25 과정(Process)과 개인의 가치 발견과 독창 성 검증을 위한 2단계 평가 방법(Tool), 관련 전문가들의 융합을 통한 모델(Model), 타인의 공감을 만드는 디자인 체계 (System), 이중 구조적 가치 체계(System)를 제시한다. 연구를 구체화하기 위한 사례로서 7가지의 실험적인 가치를 제시하 였다. 1단계 평가를 기준으로 ‘계단은 만남의 장소가 될 수 있다.’로 사례 디자인을 진행하였다. 나에게 어린 시절 친구들과 함께하던 동네의 계단은 만남과 소통의 장소였다. 비슷한 경험을 가진 사람과 만남이 절실한 현대인을 위하여 만남의 계단 을 제안하였다. 국가가 공동주택의 공동체 커뮤니티 회복과 사회적 약자를 배려하는 순기능을 고려하였다. 노인과 아이가 많은 입주 동의 의견을 적극적으로 수용하고, 독창적 가치가 있는 마을 공동체 스토리 과정을 제시 하였다. 또한, 개인의 가치를 사회가 수용함으로서 자아실현이 가능하고 사회적으로 다양한 가치가 순환되는 ‘이중 구조적 디자인’을 제시하였 다. 모두를 위한 디자인에서 개인의 독창적 가치에 공감하는 디자인이 필요하다. 가치에 대한 공감을 줄 수 있는 방법은 다양하고, 같은 가치에 대한 공감의 수단도 다르다. 이번 연구 체계 논문에서 그 가능성을 확인하고자 하였다. 1차 평가의 전체 평점은 3.1이었으나, 2차 평가의 전체 평점은 4.1로 공감을 위한 디자인 접근은 매우 긍정적으로 평가 되었다. 앞으로 후속 연구로 많은 사례를 통하여 구체적인 디자인 사례를 제시하고자 한다. 그리하여 인간의 삶에 문제를 이해하면서, 인간 과 사회의 가치 공유를 위한 기초 연구를 하고자 한다.

The humans in modern society are suffering isolation in the course of socialization process. Is it possible for design to perform the role of resolving individual person’s isolation problem? This study attends on individual person’s dignity and values by the fundamental approach of ‘design for the human’. Design in the 21st century shall consider various ever changing values of individual person as the standard. This is understanding of human experience in values established in the course of the individual person’s growth stage. Also, the creative value of individual person need to be verified and socialized. Individual persons would achieve self realization through socialization, and the problem of isolation would be resolved. For socialization of value, convergence is required among related specialists. From the advices from brand, marketing, consumer, technology, design fields, value model is created. And empathic design is implemented so as to socialize individual person’s value model through empathy from others. The society would change in healthier direction. For this purpose, this study presents 5 stages of detailed 25 Process table, 2 staged assessment tool for exploration of individual person’s value and verification of creativity, value model through fusion of related specialists, empathic design system inducing other’s empathy on the value, dual structure value system through empathic design. As the case to materialize this study, the empathic design on ‘stairs can be the meeting place’ is progressed based on 7 empirical values as the base. For me, the stairs in town where I got along with friends in my childhood, was the place of meeting and communication. I propose the stairs for meeting for the modern humans who desperately needs meeting with people who shares similar experiences. The government actively accepts the opinions of the elderly and the children who have many children considering the community function of community recovery and social functioning. This would be the meaningful starting point for the story of town community with creative value. Self-realization is possible while accepting the value of individual, present 'dual structure value system through empathic design.' In conclusion, rather than the design for all, the design for the minority empathizing with the creative values of individual persons are needed. The factors that could give empathy on value are diverse, and the methods of empathy on value vary. The plan on this study seeks to confirm the potential of such design. The grade at the first assessment was 3.1 scores, but the second assessment grade was 4.1, meaning very positive assessment of empathic design. In future through subsequent studies, empathic design focused on detailed story would be presented through many cases. Accordingly, the basic research for the humans and society to share values with the ultimate understanding on the problems in human living.
