이 연구는 즉흥연주에 있어 중요한 리듬적 요소를 리듬 재배치를 사용하여 단순해 질 수 있는 연주에 음악적 다이내믹을 주는 핸더슨의 연주 기법을 제시하고 그 효과를 확인하는 것에 목적을 가지고 시작되었으며 솔로 앨범 중 핸더슨의 즉흥연주와 리듬 재배치를 사용한 연주가 두드러지는 2장의 앨범에서 나타난 리듬 재배치 연주기법을 찾고 분석했다. 그 결과 반복되는 모티브나 패턴의 길이로 한 박자의 모티브, 한 마디안의 패턴, 한 마디가 넘는 패턴으로 나타났고 그 효과는 첫째, 마디의 박절적 강세의 익숙한 사운드에 변화를 주어 강세에 변화가 된 신선한 사운드를 연출할 수 있었고, 둘째 한 마디안의 패턴을 반복적으로 사용하여 한 마디가 축소되는 연주로 속도감을 연출할 수 있었다. 마지막 셋째는 한 마디가 넘는 패턴을 반복적으로 사용하여 한 마디가 확장되는 연주로 속도감이 늦춰지는 사운드를 연출 할 수 있다는 것이다.

This study aims to present Henderson 's performance technique that gives musical dynamics to performance that can be simplified by using rhythm rearrangement as an important rhythm factor in improvisation, and to confirm its effect. I analyzed and analyzed the rhythm relocation technique that appeared in the two albums of the solo album, where Henderson 's improvisation and rhythm rearrangement were prominent.
