위ㆍ진 시기는 경제ㆍ정치뿐만이 아니라 서예(書藝)에서도 중요한 변혁기로 이전의 전서ㆍ예서ㆍ해서ㆍ장초ㆍ행서ㆍ초서 등 여러 서체를 활용하여 서예가들이 개인적으로 예술 풍격을 꽃피우는 양상을 나타냈다. 진나라 시기의 서예는 당시(唐詩)ㆍ 송사(宋詞)ㆍ원곡(元曲)이 나란히 문단에 이름을 날린 것처럼 후대에도 인정받았는데, 특히 ‘상운(尙韻)’의 서예로 대표되는 왕희지 서예는 우아하고 표일한 기운이 넘쳐 많은 이들의 사랑 을 받았다. 왕희지는 또한 광범위하게 한ㆍ위 이래 많은 서예작품에서 유익한 자양분을 얻고, 전대(前代)와 당대(當代)에 분산된 서예 작품에서의 창조적인 요소들을 집대성하여 정제과정을 거침으 로써 자신의 새로운 예술창조에 융합ㆍ통일하여 자아를 풍부하 게 하는 신서체(新書體)로의 변법(變法)에 성공함으로써 한 시 대를 대표하는 인물이기도 하다. 그는 ‘고질(古質)’ 서풍 대신 ‘금연(今姸)’ 서풍을 내세워 후대의 서예가들은 물론 한반도의 서예가들에게도 손길이 닿는 모범이 되었다. 본고는 왕희지의 생애ㆍ사상ㆍ학문 등을 살펴보고 서예의 눈 부신 성취와 함께 서체 변법의 성공과 그 서예가 후대 서예계 에 미치는 영향을 중점적으로 탐구하여 고질의 서풍에서 유미 한 서풍으로의 변법을 고찰하고, 서체의 변법은 중국뿐만 아니 라 우리나라에도 큰 영향을 미쳤음을 살펴보고자 한다. 따라서 그가 창출한 변법의 서예를 활용한 문인서예의 승화 와 함께 서예의 위상을 정립하고 미래의 지향할 바를 연구하고 자한다.

The period of Wei Dinasty and Jin Dinasty was an important transformation period not only in economics and politics, but also in seoye(書藝, calligraphy), and calligraphers personally blossomed their artistic styles by using various character such as the previous calligraphic style, yeseo(隸書), haeseo(楷書), jangcho(章草), haengseo(行書), and choseo(草書). Seoye during the Jin Dynasty was recognized by later generations, dangshi(唐詩, poetry of Dang Dynasty), songsa(宋詞, poetry of Song Dynasty), and wongok(元 曲, songs or drama in Won Dynasty) made their names in the literary circles side by side. In particular, Wang Hee-ji’s seoye, represented by the seoye of sangun(尙韻, refined, tasteful) was elegant and full of marked energy. Wang Hee-ji also succeeded in transforming himself into a new typeface that enriched his self by converging and unifying his new art creation by collecting and refining useful nutrients from many calligraphy works in the past and present. Instead of a simple style a gentle style to serve as an example for later calligraphers as well as Korean calligraphers of the Korean Peninsula. This paper examines Wang Hee-ji’s life, thoughts, and studies. In addition, it focuses on the success of seoye modification along with the remarkable achievement of calligraphy, and the impact of calligraphy on the future calligraphy world. Consider the transformation from a high-quality west wind to a gentle west wind. I would like to examine that the modification of the typeface had a great influence not only on China but also on Korea. Therefore, I would like to establish the status of seoye and study the future direction along with sublimation of literary person’s seoye using of the variant he created
