In this study, high performance fiber composites has developed using GGBS and Flyash with PVA fiber. Thus, four mixtures was determined accoding to the ratio of binder. A series of experiments, including slump flow, compressive strength, uniaxial tensile strength tests were carried out to characterize the mechanical properties of the fiber composites. The result of tests, slump flow showed an average 428mm and tensile strain 2% of behavior strain hardening of due to the occurrence multiple micro crack.

In this study, EL. 610 test and SHRP H-205.8 test were performed to evaluate the effects of deicing salts on concrete. According to the test results, EL. 610 chemical deicer test method was not enough to evaluate the chemical effects on concrete. On the contrary, the results of SHRP H-205.8 test method showed clear distinction between deicer type A and type B.

In this study, it was evaluated the permeability of cold joint concrete, to evaluated the permeability considering slag concrete and OPC. In addition, the water permeability was evaluated by comparing the sound and cold joint concrete. As a result, OPC-Joint(3.76×10-10m/s), Slag-Joint(3.36×10-10m/s), OPC(2.65×10-10m/s), Slag(2.36×10-10m/s) was evaluated in this order. The OPC-joint is the most highly evaluated. This is estimated to be because the density of the pore structure.

In this paper, it is evaluated for sound and cold joint concrete under compressive load. To evaluate the permeability of the concrete, to prepare a cold joint specimens. And the water permeability evaluated by comparison of the sound and the cold joint concrete. it selected control, 30%, and 60% of the breaking strength. Results of evaluating the permeability of the cold joint concrete under compressive load, and tended to reduce at 30% of load, to increase at 60% of load.

This study investigated the effect of cement type and ground granulated blast furnace slag (GGBS) on the mechanical properties and workability of grout for offshore PSC structures. As the replacement ratio of GGBS increased, the flowability of the grout increased and both intial and final setting times of grout was delayed regardless of cement type. However, the effects of GGBS on the bleeding of grout were different according to the type of cement: as the ratio of GGBS increased, less bleeding was observed for the grout with typeⅠ cement whereas higher bleeding was generated for the grout with type Ⅲ cement. However, there was no significant difference in their compressive strength at 28 day according the different replacement ratio of GGBS from 0 to 40%.

Recording technology, as an alternative technique of reality that can be expected at the same time ensuring the organisms inhabiting space in the existing city was overcrowded, mitigation of heat island phenomenon of the city, saving heating and cooling energy of a building, the Amenity improvement and urban storm water runoff reduction has been noted. In this study, it has been enforced for the purpose to evaluate the performance of the developed product out roofing hybrid recording system made of metal. Experiments for performance evaluation and structure analysis through the computerized analysis has been carried out.

This is an experimental study on manufacturing of non-cement matrix. Materials like cement and blowing agent in foamed concrete is replaced by by-products from blast furnace slag and paper ash. Sample Plain with density showed lowest. The compressive strength test result, showed a similar trend with density. And it showed that compressive strength of the 4:6 was highest.

This research investigated the effects of adding micro fibers on the direct tensile behavior of ultra-high-performance hybrid-fiber-reinforced concrete (UHPHFRC) at high strain rates. Macro fiber was long smooth fiber (LS, Df=0.3mm, Lf=30mm) and micro fiber was short smooth fiber (SS, Df=0.2mm, Lf=13mm). The volume content of macro fibers was 1.0% and the volume content of micro fibers varied between 0.0 and 1.0%. The addition of micro fibers clearly increased the tensile strength of UHPHFRCs even at high strain rates.

It have developed the analysis model which can be effectively reflect the structural properties of the damping system is verified through the analysis and experimental results of existing. This paper presents a design process of columns in precast concrete frame building structure constructed by using hollowed precast concrete (HPC) column. An example PC frame building was designed and the structural safety of HPC columns was checked as a form for during slab construction and a composite column for design load after construction based on the previous research.

The purpose of this study is to examine and quantify the effect of chloride content on surface electrical resistivity measurement of concrete. It was obvious that chloride content had influenced the resistivity of concrete and the relationship showed a linear function. That is, concrete with chloride ions had a comparatively lower resistivity. Decreasing rate of resistivity of concrete was clear at early time, however, after 50 days resistivity was constant irrespective of chloride concentration. Conclusively, this paper suggested the quantitive solution to depict the electrical resistivity of concrete with chloride content.

The purpose of this study is to explore the time dependant behaviors of chloride ions adsorption with cement hydrates, focused on its mechanism. AFt phase and CH phase were not able to absorb chloride ion, however, C-S-H phase and AFm phase had a significant chloride adsorption capacity. Based on the results, this study suggested theoretical approach to depict chloride adsorption behavior with elapsed time of C-S-H phase and AFm phase effectively. AFm phase showed a slow chemical adsorption in 40 days, while C-S-H phase showed binding behavior with 3 stages including the stage of instantaneous physical adsorption other stages.

The phenomenon of leaching consists in the dissolution of solid calcium in cement hydrates when concrete is exposed to any aggressive solution. Calcium leaching is completely controlled by the thermodynamic equilibrium between cement hydrates and the porous solution. Thus, it might be described by considering the hydrates (C-S-H and aluminates) solubility evolution with pH. Nevertheless a simplifed model has been proposed considering only the different calcium phases of the hydrates. This study suggested definition of calcium leaching density with type of cement hydrate.

The goal of this study is to investigate structural behaviors of steel diagrid depending on geometric parameters such as size, thickness, steel type, and location of components. Numerical applications verify structural behaviors of steel diagrid is very sensitive in terms of the geometric parameters and then diagrid is an appropriately governing system for free-formed structures.

The objective of this paper is to investigate the effect of spreading time of waste cooking oil (WCO) on durability of high volume blast furnace slag concrete. Carbonation and resistance to chloride attack were measured according to spreading time of WCO. WCO was spreaded on the surface of the concrete with different curing condition after demolding. Blast furnace slag with 60% was incorporated into concrete with 45% of W/B. Test results indicated that carbonation and penetration resistance of chloride attack had favorable results with the condition of 28days water curing and spreading WCO.
