        New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT), in collaboration with the University of Hawaii (UH), is upgrading Big Bear Solar Observatory (BBSO) by replacing its principal, 65 cm aperture telescope with a modern, off-axis 1.6 m clear aperture instrument from a 1.7 m blank. The new telescope offers a significant incremental improvement in ground-based infrared and high angular resolution capabilities, and enhances our continuing program to understand photospheric magneto-convection and chromospheric dynamics. These are the drivers for what is broadly called space weather - an important problem, which impacts human technologies and life on earth. This New Solar Telescope (NST) will use the existing BBSO pedestal, pier and observatory building, which will be modified to accept the larger open telescope structure. It will be operated together with our 10 inch (for larger field-of-view vector magnetograms, Ca II K and Ha observations) and Singer-Link (full disk Hα, Ca II K and white light) synoptic telescopes. The NST optical and software control design will be similar to the existing SOLARC (UH) and the planned Advanced Technology Solar Telescope (ATST) facility led by the National Solar Observatory (NSO) - all three are off-axis designs. The NST will be available to guest observers and will continue BBSO's open data policy. The polishing of the primary will be done in partnership with the University of Arizona Mirror Lab, where their proof-of-concept for figuring 8 m pieces of 20 m nighttime telescopes will be the NST's primary mirror. We plan for the NST's first light in late 2005. This new telescope will be the largest aperture solar telescope, and the largest aperture off-axis telescope, located in one of the best observing sites. It will enable new, cutting edge science. The scientific results will be extremely important to space weather and global climate change research.

        본 연구의 목적은 inbred 마우스 (C57BL/6J)의 수정란을 이용하여 형질전환마우스를 생산할 때, 수정란이식의 효율성을 증진시키기 위한 것이다. C57BL/6J 및 BCF1 마우스로부터 과배란처리 방법에 의해 수정란을 얻고, DNA를 1 세포기 수정란에 미세 주입한 다음, 1세포기 또는 2 세포기의 수정란을 가임신된 마우스의 한쪽 또는 양쪽 난관에 각각 이식하였다. 1세포기의 수정란을 0.75 d.p.c. 가임신된 마우스의 한쪽 난관에 이식했을 때, 임신율이 C57BL/6J는 68.8±7.83%, BCF1은 48.3±14.22% 이었고, 이식한 수정란 당 산자의 발달율은 C57BL/6J가 11.9±5.51%, BCF1은 10.5±8.03%로 성적이 저조하였다. 그러나, 2세포기의 수정란을 0.5 d.p.c. 가임신된 마우스의 양쪽 난관에 이식했을 때, 임신율이 C57BL/6J는 94.4±9.64%, 13CFl은 100±0% 이었고, 이식한 수정란 당 산자의 발달율은 C57BL/6J가 22.1 ±0.4%, BCF1은 21.8±0.38%였다. 따라서 C57BL/6J 마우스의 2세포기 수정란을 0.5 d.p.c. 가임신된 마우스의 양쪽 난관에 이식하는 것이, BCF1마우스와 유사한 성적을 얻어 경쟁력이 있는 것으로 판단되었다. 이러한 결과에 영향을 미치는 인자가 여러 가지 있을 것으로 판단되지만, C57BL/6J 마우스의 2세포기 수정란을 0.5 d.p.c.가임신된 마우스의 양쪽 난관에 이식하는 방법이 다른 방법보다 형질전환마우스를 생산하는데 효율성이 더 높은 것으로 본 실험에서 확인되었다.

        From 146 B.C. to A.D. 1760, 363 sets of cometary observations have been recorded in Chinese Ancient Records of Celestial Phenomena. The positions of all recorded comets, or their paths, on the sky are compared. Taking into account the perturbations of all nine planets and using the numerical method of N-body problem, the orbits of well-recorded comets are calculated. Identification of a periodic comet is presented.

        We present 3 rare subtypes of the FFSs observed with high temporal resolution at 4-frequency (1.42, 2.13, 2.84 and 4.2G GHz). The various FFSs occurred during the main and post-flare phase can demonstrate that coronal nonthermal electron acceleration/injection may go through the whole development process of flares, and deduce that there may exist the re-forming of loop-like structures in the post-flare phase, and the complex multi-type magnetic structures in corona.

        We have examined morphological change and movements of individual sunspots within a sunspot group in association with a large solar flare activity (3B/X1.5) appeared on 13 May 1981. For this purpose we measured distance among spots during the period before and after the flare activity and estimated the average velocity of their movement. Our main results are as follows: (1) The longitudinal displacement among sunspots are generally greater than the latitudinal displacement. (2) During the period the spots moved with an average velocity of 1.2 km/s in longitude and 0.86 km/s in latitude. (3) The most notable change took place in the central part placed between the two ribbons of the flare.

        Soybean has been cultivated in China for 5,000 years. The soybean cyst neamtode (SCN), Heterodra glycines, was recongnized in Northeastern China in 1899. Currently, it is known to occur in 12 provinces. The biology of SCN was investigated in several provinces. Six races of SCN were identified (race 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 7). About f10,000 soybean germplasm lines were evaluated for their resistance to race 1, 3, 4 and 5 of SCN. At least two black-seeded cultivars are resistant to all four races. Several tolerant soybean cultivars with yellow seed coat were released and are in production. Additional resistant cultivars are being developed. Nematicides were not applied in production Potential biocontrol agents and related aspects are being investigated.

        Analyzing and comparing the digital trade rules of free trade zones such as the European Union (EU) and North America is significant for the localization of China’s digital trade rule system. In this paper, the significance of digital trade rules is demonstrated by analyzing and comparing the characteristics of digital trade rules in each regional agreement. Through analysis of the digital trade rules of each region, it is proposed that the construction of digital trade rules in China needs to be based on promoting the development of digital economy, strengthening the protection of digital security and improving data crossborder circulation rules.

        Korean Wave is a very popular cultural phenomenon in China in the 21st century. Under the background of modern society, it exports various Korean cultural products to China through mass communication, and develops rapidly in China through Korean movies, pop music, variety show, food clothing and other forms. The input of these cultural products not only affects the Chinese public, but also profoundly affects contemporary Chinese college students. They have positive effects such as changing their way of life, improving their international perspective, and promoting personality shaping, but also have negative effects such as the worship of money in consumption concepts, the popularity of value orientations, and the shaking of cultural confidence. College students are the backbone of national construction. In the face of the coming Korean Wave culture, the family, school and society should correctly guide contemporary college students to treat rationally.         Over the past 40 years of reform and opening up, China’s use of foreign direct investment (FDI) has had all-round, multilevel, and wide-ranging implications. In the early stages of reform and opening up to attract foreign capital inflow to the country, relatively strong tax-preferential policies were implemented. The main purpose of this study is to analyze the impacts of FDI and foreign-related taxation on China’s total tax revenues as well as explore the direct and indirect effects of FDI on China’s taxation over the last 40 years to compare the contributions of FDI in different regions of China. Based on the results, some suggestions are proposed for the adjustment of China’s policies to promote foreign capital inflow in the future; moreover, suggestions are also provided for using foreign capital to stabilize employment and foreign trade, while promoting taxation.

        Since the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and South Korea in 1992, the development speed of bilateral economic and trade relations is getting faster and faster, and the quality is getting higher and higher. According to the United Nations Commodity Trade Statistics Database, China became the largest trading partner of South Korea in 2018, while South Korea became the third largest trading partner of China. Under the background of the Belt and Road Initiative, the trade of agricultural products between China and South Korea has become increasingly frequent. This paper discusses the measurement of agricultural trade level between China and South Korea, and analyzes the influencing factors for reference.
