This paper explores the standards for selecting language materials during the study of the diachronic grammar of Classical Chinese. The accuracy of language materials is crucial for ensuring the scientific validity of research conclusions. Due to previous limitations in research on the language materials of the Spring and Autumn period, such as posteriority and singularity, this paper argues that the increasing availability of excavated documents, especially ancient literary texts, provides a reliable research foundation for describing the grammar of Classical Chinese during this period. Therefore, this paper attempts to answer the following questions: 1) Which language materials should be used for the study of the grammar of Classical Chinese during the Spring and Autumn period? 2) Why should these language materials be selected? 3) What are the standards for selecting language materials during this period? The purpose of this study is to provide a reference for the diachronic study of Classical Chinese grammar.

Compared with modern Chinese, the inquiry sentences of the unearthed Warring States documents occupied an important position in oral communication at that time, and their expression methods were quite distinctive. Through exhaustive corpus investigation and systematic description, four types of inquiry sentences in the excavated Warring States literature, such as specific finger questions, right and wrong questions, positive and negative questions, and choice questions, are discussed, and the special questions used in them are discussed, and the grammar of the special question sentences used in them is explained and analyzed. The study found that the interrogative sentences in the form of questions and answers in the excavated documents mainly include two types: Chujian quotation style corpus and Qinjian Zhongluling corpus. Finally, the different distribution characteristics and regional relationships of the interrogative sentences in the Chujian and Qinjian corpuses were answered.

This paper makes a comprehensive investigation of the New Edition of Copying and Interpretation of Yin Ruins Characters, and finds that there are still some problems in it, such as the unreliability of the character interpretation, the lack of interpretation, the errors in sentence breaks and inaccuracy of annotation. The publication of this book is of great value in the field of oracle bones, and although it has some minor flaws, it does not prevent it from becoming an authoritative work.

Through the description, and inscriptions tool books, the Yin Ruins Oracle was edited by Wang Shaodong and Wang Yuxin, there are at least four aspects of the following problems: First, the interpretations is not new. secondly, the notes are uncertainty. and thirdly, The translation is out of order. Finally, some punctuations are wrong. As an exact textbook for the introduction of ancient Chinese characters in the cultural relics press, we can not fully trust and should use it carefully when using it.
