The supernumerary tooth which is extra tooth in comparison to normal dentition is one of the developmental problems. The most common type of supernumerary tooth is mesiodens which may cause several complications like delayed eruption, crowding, spacing et al. Moral Incisor Hypomineralization (MIH) describes the clinical appearance of enamel hypomineralization of systemic origin affecting one or more permanent first molars that associated frequently with affected incisors. We report a case of a 6 – year – old boy who visited our clinic for removal of mesiodentes. The patient was diagnosed by mesiodentes and MIH by clinical examination and radiographic examination. Under local anesthesia, Mesiodentes were removed surgically. The demarcated opacities, a feature of MIH, were observed in the removed mesiodentes. After removal of mesiodentes, the maxillary central incisors erupted normally and in order to manage the teeth affected MIH, follow-up and fluoride varnish application were done every 3 months.

Complicated crown-root fractures are considered rare occurrences in young permanent dentition; however, they often present complicated and unpredictable treatment options. The most common treatment option for crown-root fractured teeth is reattachment of fractured segment, but if it is thought impossible to maintain, it should be extracted. However, when unfavorable crown-root fracture occurs in the adolescents, extraction of fractured teeth is expected to be poor due to excessive resorption of alveolar and prosthetic replacement cannot be performed immediately, various treatment options should be considered. This report suggests root submergence in the complex crown-root fracture in growing patients is performed and the functional and aesthetic results including preservation of the alveolar bone are obtained.

Dentigerous cysts, the most commonly occurring developmental cysts of the jaw, develop in association with impacted teeth. Most dentigerous cysts are solitary. Multiple dentigerous cysts are rare and generally occur in association with a developmental syndrome or systemic disease, such as mucopolysaccharidosis and cleidocranial dysplasia. However, in the absence of a syndrome, occurrence of multiple dentigerous cysts is rare. Development of multiple dentigerous cysts on first molars extremely rare. The purpose of this paper was to report on a nonsyndromic, 8-year-old boy who presented multiple dentigerous cysts on first molars.

Tooth autotransplantation is the placement of an impacted or erupted tooth into an extraction site or surgically prepared dental socket within the same individual. This procedure may become a new treatment alternative, because of its osteogenetic potential and its ability to promote regeneration of alveolar processes. The present study reports the case of a 10-year-old girl whose maxillary central incisor was ankylosed as the result of an injury, and who underwent tooth autotransplantation and orthodontic treatment for the functional and aesthetic recovery of the maxillary central incisor. The transplanted tooth showed satisfactory alveolar bone recovery, and orthodontic tooth movement. No complications occurred. We chose to report this case because it illustrates the autotransplantation of a premolar in a child scheduled for orthodontic treatment, including tooth extraction. The procedure showed good prognosis in terms of the recovery of an anterior tooth affected by an injury.

The odontoma is a hamartomatous lesion consisting of enamel, dentin, pul and cementum. They are observed in the form of a tooth or as a mass of agglomerated teeth. Most of these occur during the period of development of normal teeth and grow to some extent. The fused tooth was the developmental abnormality of the teeth and the hard tissues of the adjacent teeth were combined. In general, these two lesions are not related, but two problems can occur together with systemic or local causes in the morphological differentiation period. We report a case of a 6 - year - old boy who visited our clinic for the eruption of a calcified mass in the mouth. The patient was diagnosed by the fusion of a odontoma and a mandibular permanent anterior tooth. And then, fused odontoma was removed surgically and the mandibular permanent anterior was restored by using composite resin. Calcified material was diagnosed as a composite tooth. After 6 months, the permannant teeth was satisfactory eruption and did not show any pathological problems in periapical radiography.
