        From the course of screening of useful xylanase producing microorganism from a phytophagous longicorn beetle, we isolated an extra-cellular xylanase producing strain, Paenibacillus sp. HY-8 from the intestine of Moechotypa diphysis adult. On the basis of morphological, biochemical and phylogenetic studies of the new isolate was identified as a Paenibacillus species. Production of xylanase in this strain was strongly induced by adding xylan to the growth medium and repressed by glucose or xylose. The highest xylanase production was attained in the M9 media containing 1% yeast extract and 0.5% birchwood xylan when cultured at 25℃ for 24 hrs. HY-8 producing xylanase showed superior hydrolytic activities against various plant source feedstuff than control xylanase produced by Tricoderma sp. at pH 6.0.

        From the course of screening of useful enzyme producing microorganism from insect guts, we isolated 9 lipase producing strains and their lipase producing activities were tested. 16S rDNA sequence analysis showed that they were Gram negative bacteria grouped on Serratia sp., Pseudomonas sp., and Burkholderia sp.. Among them, an excellent lipase producing strain, Burkholderia sp. HY-10 identified by 16S rDNA analysis and biochemical methods, was further studied its lipase producing characteristics. It was isolated from a longcorm beetle, Prionus insularis and showed cell density dependent lipase producing activity in the culture media that contained olive oil as a carbon source. Maximum lipase production was achieved in the M9 media containing 0.5% yeast extract and 0.5% olive oil when cultured at 30℃ for 36-42 hrs.

        천연형(天然形) ABA가 갖는 생물(生物) 활성(活性)을 향상(向上)시키기 위하여 합성(合成)된 ABA 유도체(誘導體)들의 생물활성(生物活性)과 아울러 초기생장(初期生長)과 밀접(密接)한 관계(關係)가 있는 peroxidase 활성도(活性度) 변화(變化)를 조사(調査)한 결과(結果)는 다음과 같다. , 암실(暗室)에서 7일간(日間) 생장(生長)시킨 보리 유묘(幼苗)의 지상부(地上部) 신장(伸張)은 3.2ppm의 ()-ABA, 1.2ppm의 (S)-(+)-ABA, 0.6ppm의 ABA-methyl cinnamate ester 화합물(化合物)(AC) 및 0.08ppm의 ABA-umbelliferone ester 화합물(化合物)(AU)에서 대조구(對照區)에 비(比)해 80% 이상의 저해(沮害)를 보여 (S)-(+)-ABA가 racemic ABA보다 약(約) 3배(倍), AC와 AU는 (S)-(+)-ABA보다 각각(各各) 약(約) 2.5배(倍), 16배(倍) 더 강(强)한 활성(活性)을 나타내었다. 발아(發芽) 후(後) 생장(生長)이 진행(進行)됨에 따른 보리 유묘(幼苗)의 지상부(地上部)의 peroxidase 활성도(活性度)는 대조구(對照區)에서는 큰 변화(變化)는 없었으나, ABA와 그 유도체(誘導體)를 처리(處理)한 보리 유묘(幼苗)의 지상부(地上部)에서는 계속 증가(增加)하였다. 생장(生長) 저해(沮害) 활성(活性)이 강(强)하게 나타난 고농도(高濃度) [3.2ppm의 ()-ABA, 1.2ppm의 (S)-(+)-ABA, 0.6ppm의 AC 및 0.08ppm의 AU]의 처리(處理)가 저농도(低濃度) [3.0ppm의 ()-ABA, 1.0ppm의 (S)-(+)-ABA, 0.4ppm의 AC 및 0.06ppm의 AU]의 처리(處理)보다 더 높은 peroxidase 활성도(活性度)를 나타내었으며, ABA 유도체들은 ABA보다 저농도(低濃度)에서 더 높은 peroxidase 활성도(活性度)를 나타내었다.

        For an advanced intelligent service, the need of HRI technology has recently been increasing and the technology has been also improved. However, HRI components have been evaluated under stable and controlled laboratory environments and there are no evaluation results of performance in real environments. Therefore, robot service providers and users have not been getting sufficient information on the level of current HRI technology. In this paper, we provide the evaluation results of the performance of the HRI components on the robot platforms providing actual services in pilot service sites. For the evaluation, we select face detection component, speaker gender classification component and sound localization component as representative HRI components closing to the commercialization. The goal of this paper is to provide valuable information and reference performance on appling the HRI components to real robot environments.
