This longitudinal case study examines how a non-specialist English for Specific Purposes (ESP) instructor, trained in English education but with limited disciplinary expertise in Bio-Health, designed and refined an ESP course through the integration of generative AI over a three-year period (2023–2025). Using a mixed-methods approach, the study analyzed changes in instructional design practices and student perceptions. Data sources included annual student surveys, instructional materials, and the instructor’s reflective journals. Findings indicate that generative AI functioned as an external cognitive resource that reduced disciplinary content burden and supported instructional decision-making. Over time, instructional focus shifted from compensating for content limitations to structuring learning experiences through AI-supported design decisions, particularly in reading, vocabulary instruction, and project-based learning. Student perceptions of course effectiveness and major relevance increased, with the most positive evaluations following AI-supported project implementation in 2025. These changes are conceptualized as AI-mediated hybrid expertise, referring to professional knowledge in which pedagogical expertise is reconfigured through AI-supported access to disciplinary knowledge.
This study investigated potential application of Peucedanum japonicum Thunberg root extract as a functional food ingredient by evaluating the quality characteristics and antioxidant activity of tofu containing different extract concentrations. No significant differences were observed in the pH, acidity, moisture content, or color between the control and root extract-treated groups. Textural analysis showed that hardness, cohesiveness, chewiness, springiness, and gumminess decreased, whereas adhesiveness increased with increasing root extract concentrations. Compared with the control, antioxidant activity revealed that 2,2′-azino-bis(3- ethylbenzothiazoline- 6-sulfonic acid) radical scavenging activity, total polyphenol content, and total flavonoid content increased in parallel with the increase in root extract concentrations; however, no significant differences were detected beyond root extract concentration of 7.5%. Sensory evaluation showed that higher root extract concentration resulted in higher bitterness, aftertaste, and texture scores but lower brightness and savory scores. While no preferential decrease was observed with root extract concentration of 7.5% compared with the control, preferential decrease was observed with root extract concentration of 10%. These results suggest that incorporation of P. japonicum root extract does not significantly affect tofu quality characteristics. Therefore, P. japonicum root has a potential to be used as a natural bioactive food ingredient owing to its high consumer acceptability and improved antioxidant activity.
본 연구의 목적은 대기업 근로자의 조직신뢰가 이직의도에 미치는 영향에서 HR부서의 전략적 역할에 대한 근로자의 인식 매개효과를 검증하는 것이다. 이를 위해 한국직업능력개발원의 인적자본기업패널 (HCCP)의 2nd WAVE 3차(2021년) 데이터를 활용하여 대기업 근로자 862명의 데이터를 활용하여 분석 하였다. 그 결과, 첫째, 조직신뢰와 이직의도, HR부서의 전략적 역할에 대한 근로자의 인식과 이직의도는 부적 상관관계를 가지고 조직신뢰와 HR부서의 전략적 역할에 대한 근로자의 인식은 정적 상관관계가 있 는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 대기업 근로자의 조직신뢰가 이직의도에 미치는 영향에서 HR부서의 전략적 역할에 대한 근로자의 인식 매개효과가 통계적으로 유의했다. 이러한 결과는 근로자의 이직의도가 근로 자 개인의 문제를 넘어 조직 내부에서도 중요하게 인지하고 인식의 전환점을 확인할 수 있음에 실천적인 시사점을 제시하였다.
There is little research on the users of dictionaries in Korea. The user research, however, is essential to developing better dictionaries. Hence, this study aims to explore the actual conditions regarding Korean English teachers’ general use of English dictionaries. English teachers were chosen as the subjects because they instruct the use of dictionaries to other users, especially students, as well as use dictionary themselves. Thirty teachers from elementary, middle and high schools respectively (total 90) participated in this research. The research was conducted using questionnaires that consisted of two main parts: The first part was designed to analyze the teachers’ use of dictionaries and the second part aimed to investigate the teachers’ instruction on the use of dictionaries. The data were coded and factors were examined by means of quantitative analysis. It was found that English teachers in Korea used Korean-English and English-English dictionaries which are well structured and easy to use with full contents in order to prepare teaching materials and develop handouts other than text books. In addition, most of teachers said that students must be taught how to use dictionaries in the first grade of junior high school.
본 연구는 현재 우리나라 도시에서 심각한 문제가 되고 있는 사교육활동의 특성과 공간적 패턴을 대도시급인 광주광역시를 대상으로 조사·분석한 것이다. 연구는 광주광역시의 상류층 주거지구, 중류층 신흥(아파트)주거지구, 중하류층 주거(소형 단독주택)지구에 입지하고 있는 초등학교, 중학교, 고등학교를 각각 1개교씩, 총 9개학교를 선정한 후 설문조사를 실시하여 분석한 것이다. 회수된 649매의 설문지를 분석한 결과, 사교육활동은 매년 증가되었고 중․상류 주거지구의 학생들이 중하류 주거지구에 거주하는 학생들보다 훨씬 많은 사교육활동을 하고 있음이 밝혀졌다. 사교육을 위한 이동거리는 초등학교<중학교<고등학교 학생들의 크기로 나타났다. 또한 하류층 주거지구 학생들의 사교육을 위한 이동거리는 중, 상류층 학생들의 그것보다 더 길어서 계층구조를 더욱 강화시키는 방향으로 불리하게 작용하고 있었다. 광주광역시내의 사교육활동 패턴은 주거지내에서 완결되는 단거리형, 도심부를 지향하는 장거리형, 새로 건설된 대규모 아파트단지로 집중하는 중거리형으로 식별되었다.
