Self-piercing riveting(SPR) is a sheet joining method that can be used for materials which are difficult or unsuitable to weld, such as aluminum alloy and different steel sheet metals. No pre-drilled hole is needed for SPR; the rivets are pushed directly into the sheets clamped together between a blank holder and a die in a press tool. In this paper, self-piercing rivet and anvil were designed for four joining conditions with dissimilar sheet metals. SPR was simulated by using commercial FEM code DEFORM-2D. In simulation of SPR process, various strengths of self-piercing rivet were considered. The mechanical properties could be determined by tensile test for quenched rivets and sheet metals. The designs of rivet and anvil were modified by comparisons of simulated results.
주소용 718합금의 고온 인장 성질에 미치는 석축물의 영향을 상추출법과 미세조직관찰을 통해 고찰되었다. 고온 인장시험에서 760˚C까지는 인장강도와 연신율이 동시에 감소하였고, 그보다 높은 온도에서는 인장강도는 급격히 감소하고 연신율은 증가하였다. 고온 인장시험에의한 응력의 영향으로 인하여 γ',γ"석출물의 양은 760˚C에서 최대의 값을 나타내었다. 미세한 γ',γ"상의 석출이 최대로 일어나는 온도에서 석출물에의한 유동응력의 증가로 인해 항복강도의 저하폭이 작았으며, 연신율은 가장 낮은값을 나타내었다. 760˚C보다 높은 온도에서는 전체적인 석출물의 양도 감소하였고, 특히 강화석출상의 양이 적어 연화현상이 급격히 나타났다. 급격히 나타났다.
실리카 바인더 함량이 지르콘 쉘 주형의 기계적 특성에 미치는 영향을 고찰하였다. 실리카 졸/지르콘 함량비 Rw는 0.18~0.43 범위에서 변화시켰으며, 주형의 소결온도는 871˚C~1400˚C 범위에서 변화시켰다. 생형의 상온강도는 실리카 졸/지르콘 함량비 Rw에 비례하여 증가하였다. 소결온도가 1300˚C 이하인 경우, Rw가 증가함에 따라 소결된 주형의 상온강도와 치밀화는 증가하였다. 그러나 Rw가 0.43이고 1400˚C에서 3시간 동안 소결시킨 경우 주형의 상온강도와 치밀화가 오히려 감소하였다. 이는 소결 중 내화물 입자와 실리카 바인더와 열팽창계수의 차이에 기인하는 것으로 판단된다. 정밀주조용 지르콘 쉘 주형 제작을 의한 최적의 Rw 값은 0.33인 것으로 나타났다.
In this study, development of new sound absorbent which is safety, economical and efficient with using recycled materials is tried for substitution of commercial sound absorbent. The sound absorbents, used in this investigation, were made of used paper or filters of cigarette butts. With the variation of the material densities,, sound absorptions of materials were measured. The impedance tube method is used for measuring sound absorption coefficient of the new sound absorbent materials. The measured frequency range was 250㎐ to 4000㎐ in 1/3 octave band . The sound absorption coefficient of the commercial materials and that of the materials synthesized in the our laboratory show almost same value.
Environmental problems emerged as common global problems awaiting solution. Active collaborative efforts are required of nations and communities in order to solve environmental problems effectively. International collaboration occurs much more commonly these days than before, and European Community(EC) mumber countries are no exceptions. EC has established and executed the five-year programs on Environmental Policy Implementation, which explicated basic principles for environmental policy development, since 1973. EC programs tend to emphasize that the direction of the policies should reflect a change from a remedial approach to a preventive approach. Those programs have brought an awareness of the importance of Environmental Impact Assessment(EIA) to EC member countries. France installed an EIA system in 1976, which was the first among member countries. Several other member countries also established a system. EC decided that a common guideline was necessary, and therefore formulated the "European Community Guideline for Environmental Impact Assessment" in 1985. All member countries were required to legislate an EIA system within three years, according to the Guideline. This study will conduct a comparative analysis of the current EIA systems of different EC member countries. The findings of this study will provide helpful information on how to improve the efficacy of the Korean system.
