        까le purpose of this study was to evaluate the role of EGF(Epidermal Growth Factor) , EGFR(Epidemlal Growth Factor Receptor), aFGF(acidic Fibroblast Growth Factor, FGF-1), bFGF(basic Fibroblast Growth Factor, FGF-2), FGFR(Fibroblast Growth Factor Receptor), and VEGF(Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor) 띠 the development of the oral squamous cell carcinoma. For this study 6 subjects, diagnosed as squamous cell carcinoma refelTed to the Dept. of Oral Path. College of Dentistry, Kyung Hee University, 2 subjects of normal 이띠 mucosa with any inflammatolY changes were used as expelimental, control groups respectively. AlI the 디ssu es ; expe디me nta l and control group were fixed in 100;ú neutral fOlmalin solution and embeclded in paraffìn , seIial tissue section were made 511m in thickness ancl processecl in the standard way for immunohistochemical methocl, using primary ancl seconclalY antibodies, for EGF(Antirabbit Ig G, rabbit kit at 1:100 dilution), EGFR(Antimouse Ig G, mouse kit at 1:100 dilution), aFGF(Antirabbit Ig G, rabbit kit at 1:100 dilution), bFGF(Antirabbit Ig G, rabbit 써t at 1:100 dilution), FGFR(Antimouse Ig G, mouse kit at 1:100 dilution), ancl VEGF(Antirabbit Ig G, rabbit kit at 1:100 clilution), all BioGenex U.S.A. macle, followed by the Stre ptavidin - Horse Radish Peroxidase(InnoGenex, Human-avidin kit) application, counter stained with Mayer’s hematoxylin stain method. And examined under the biologic microscope, -(no epithelial stain), +(weak or focal epithelial stain), ++(mode rate or focal intensive epithelial stain), +++(intense generalized epithelial staining) for the epithelial, and connective tissue component in squamous cell carcinoma and in nomlal mucosal epithelium on each. Attained results as follows ; 1. It is noted that more intensed reactio n EGF, EGFR, aFGF, bFGF, FGFR, and VEGF on experimental group compare to that on the control group. 2. Increased reaction is noted on the tumor components compare to that in the stromal tissues. 3. Intensed reaction is noted on the basement membrane adjacent to cancer nest to EGF, EGFR, aFGF, bFGF, FGFR, and VEGF 4. It is noted that intensed positive reaction on cancer pearls, cancer components with hyperactivities, in cancer nest. And at the peIiphelY of cancer nest, diffuse moclerate reaction to EGF, EGFR, aFGF, bFGF, FGFR, and VEGF is notecl This results suggest that EGF, EGFR, aFGF, bFGF, FGFR, and VEGF mJy be effectecl to the growth ancl clevelopment of the squamous cell carcinoma.

        This study was designed to develop an objective method of strength measurement of muscles controlling the wrist joint in normal subjects. Forty subjects (20 male, 20 female) with a mean age of 22 years, were tested isokinetically at and . Results were as follows, 1) Peak torque for wrist flexors, extensors were significantly different for both speeds, but wrist ulnar deviator, radial deviator peak torques were not, 2) Mean values for all muscle groups controlling the wrist were not significantly different for both speeds in the female group, 3) All mean values at both and were significantly different between males and females, 4) Means and standard deviations of wrist joint angle of movement at peak torque were determined.

        본 논문에서는 초등학생, 중학생의 기초 과학 원리의 이해를 위한 기능성 게임의 활용과 그 결과에 대해 기술한다. 우리는 기능성 게임을 통한 자연스러운 과학 원리의 체득을 위하여 초등학교 3~6, 중학교 1~3학년의 과학 교육과정을 분석하여 게임에 적합한 학습 콘텐츠 및 커리큘럼을 구성하였다. 이렇게 작성된 커리큘럼을 바탕으로 과학 교육용 기능성 게임 '사이언스 히어로즈'을 개발함으로써 실제 교육현장에서 추상적, 시간-공간적인 이유로 학습이 어려운 부분에 대해 교수-학습 과정을 도울 수 있도록 하였다. 본 연구에서는 개발된 게임에 대해 현직 과학 교과 교사들의 기능성 게임 평가 테스트를 수행하여 본 게임을 통한 실제 교육현장으로 적용 가능성 및 보완점을 알아보았다.

        Reliable functionalities for autonomous navigation and object recognition/handling are key technologies to service robots for executing useful services in human environments. A considerable amount of research has been conducted to make the service robot perform these operations with its own sensors, actuators and a knowledge database. With all heavy sensors, actuators and a database, the robot could have performed the given tasks in a limited environment or showed the limited capabilities in a natural environment. With the new paradigms on robot technologies, we attempted to apply smart environments technologies-such as RFID, sensor network and wireless network- to robot functionalities for executing reliable services. In this paper, we introduce concepts of proposed smart environments based robot navigation and object recognition/handling method and present results on robot services. Even though our methods are different from existing robot technologies, successful implementation result on real applications shows the effectiveness of our approaches.         This paper introduces a prototype smart home environment that is built in the research building to demonstrate the feasibility of a robot-assisted future home environment. Localization, navigation, object recognition and handling are core functionalities that an intelligent service robot should provide. A huge amount of research effort has been made to make the service robot perform these functions with its own sensors, actuators and a knowledge base. With all complicated configuration of sensors, actuators and a database, the robot could only perform the given tasks in a predefined environment or show the limited capabilities in a natural environment. We started a smart home environment for service robots for simple service robots to provide reliable services by communicating with the environment through the wireless sensor networks. In this paper, we introduce various types of smart devices that are developed for assisting the robot in the environment by providing sensor and actuator capabilities. In addition, we present how the devices are integrated to constitute the smart home environment for service robots.
