        One major concern of Seoul City is the premature failure occurrence such as fatigue cracking and rutting in the pavement. Due to the acceleration at intersections and low vehicle speed at bus stops that cause higher shear and critical strain on the pavement. Because of this, there is a need to develop a new mixture that can withstand bus stop and intersection traffic while preventing premature failure. In this study, a high modulus asphalt mixture was adapted and developed to address the cracking and rutting concerns at bus stops and intersections of Seoul City. Indirect tensile (IDT) and beam fatigue testing were conducted to determine the fatigue performance of the high modulus asphalt mixture (HMB). In addition, the behaviour of the HMB considering loading speed and temperature were investigated using the IDT dynamic modulus test. It was found that the HMB performs 3 and 1.5 times better compared to conventional asphalt using IDT and beam fatigue test respectively. Moreover, it was observed that modulus value of HMB is two times better at low frequency (high temperature) compared to conventional asphalt. The dynamic modulus value of the HMB was then used as input for bus stop and intersection scenario analyses. It was found that HMB can reduce the total thickness of the pavement around 4 to 6cm compared to the conventional asphalt. It can be concluded that because of the better fatigue and rutting performance and high modulus value of HMB at low frequency, it can perform better in bus stops and intersections. It is recommended to conduct field construction to further evaluate the performance of HMB asphalt mixtures in the field.

        Pavement Condition Index (PCI) is an important index to establish a proper maintenance and rehabilitation strategy of a road network. The index is calculated based on the present state of surface defects, deformation and cracking. The information is normally obtained by visual inspection and observation of road networks. Nowadays, various sensor-based visual inspection techniques are applied to obtain detailed information of a road network, and to automate the entire process of calculating PCI. Hyperspectral analysis is a technique to identify the spectral signature of a material in the electromagnetic spectrum. The technique is being applied to pavement condition evaluation. Some researchers have reported that Exposed Aggregate Index (EAI) has a relationship with the reflectance of a hyperspectral image of a road network. In this study, the possibility of using hyperspectral images for pavement condition evaluation is experimentally investigated and the relationship between EAI and PCI is addressed.

        In this study, a novel method based on ground penetration radar (GPR) is proposed to categorize underground objects by using both B-scan and C-scan images. Three-dimensional GPR data obtained from a multichannel GPR system are reconstructed into a two-dimensional (2D) grid image which consists of several B-scan and C-scan images. Three-dimensional shape information of an underground object can be well represented in 2D grid image. The 2D grid images are then trained using deep convolutional neural networks (CNN) that is a state-of-the-art technique for image classification problem. The proposed method is validated through field applications on urban roads in Seoul, South Korea.

        본 연구는 솔잎 토착미생물을 이용하여 제조된 발효사료 급여가 돼지의 성장, 혈액성상, 도체형질 및 경제성에 미치는 영향을 규명하고자 실시하였다. 평균 체중 75kg인 3원교잡종 (Landrance× Yorkshire×Duroc) 180두를 공시하여 돈방 당 15두씩 시험구당 3반복으로 실시하였다. 발효사료는 원료 사료와 미생물을 혼합 후 혐기적 상태로 10일간 발효시켰으며, 양돈용 사료에 0 (대조구, CON), 3 (T1), 5 (T2) 및 10% (T3)로 대체하여, 42일간 급여 후 도축하였다. 발효사료의 조단백질 함량은 발효 후가 발 효 전보다 높았지만 (p<0.05), 조섬유 함량과 pH는 낮았다 (p<0.05). 돼지의 혈중 Hemoglobin 함량은 T3구가 대조구에 비해 높았고 (p<0.05), Hematocrit 함량은 대조구와 T1구가 T2구와 T3구에 비해 높았 고 (p<0.05), Platelet 함량은 T1구가 T2구와 T3구에 비해 높았다 (p<0.05). 대조구의 혈중 total cholesterol, LDL-cholesterol 및 Triglycerides 함량은 발효사료를 대체한 모든 시험구에 비해 높았으나 (p<0.05), HDL-cholesterol 함량은 적었다 (p<0.05). 지육중량과 지육율은 T1구와 T3구가 대조구와 T2 구에 비해 높았으며 (p<0.05), 등지방 두께는 T1구와 T2구가 T3구에서 비해 낮았다 (p<0.05). 육 등급은 발효사료를 대체한 모든 시험구가 대조구에 비해 개선되었으며 (p<0.05), kg 증체당 사료비는 발효사료 를 급여했을 때 약 2~6% 적었다. 따라서 솔잎 토착미생물을 이용하여 제조한 발효사료의 급여는 돼지의 건강과 육 등급 개선 및 사료비 절감에 도움이 될 것으로 사료된다.

        Purpose This thesis – aims to propose a method to help financial institutions improve their customers’ convenience online and offline through a Bluetooth based App using the tool of a beacon. The emergence of smartphones in the 21st century and their increasing use makes it possible to search for information easily. Research design, data, and methodology – With the short-distance Bluetooth technology for smartphones, which finds users within a radius of 50m to provide the functions of message transmission and mobile payment, users can access information services and use mobile coupons in certain premises. Thus, beacon-based O2O technology has been developed. Results – This study offers a method of attracting customers through an O2O marketing strategy that overcomes the existing limitations of Web and Offline media. Conclusions –Since beacon technology has the advantage of more accurate positioning than GPS, financial institutions provide their product information for users through the basic function of a beacon, using an O2O (Online to Offline) marketing solution and, therefore, effectively enable customers to make relevant payments online and conduct their financial actions offline.
