        Recently, Product-Service System(PSS) is a rising paradigm that enables integration between products and services offering. Also, academic interests for product-service design using the house of quality (HOQ) have been emerged. the engineering characteristics of the HOQ are usually extracted by experts. However, as the new technologies were merged, it was difficult to find the optimum expert for extracting the engineering characteristics in the fusion technology. Therefore, this paper applies the topic modeling technique using patent data to extract the engineering characteristics which considers not only products features but also services characteristics. Also, a case study demonstrates the usefulness of our approach with augmented reality-head mounted display. It was conducted to make the HOQ with distinct four steps. First, the customer needs were collected through the latest device review from website and grouped into the representative customer needs. Second, the engineering characteristics of the augmented reality-head mounted display were extracted by using the US patent data of augmented reality head mounted display through the topic modeling technique. Third, the correlation degree of product - service characteristics was drawn by using the extracted topic’s cosine similarity. Finally, the relationship matrix of customer needs and engineering characteristics was filled with experts. After which we suggest product-service business concepts from HOQ. Main advantage is appeared from the result of this research paper is that it can provide the business concepts of the integrated product-services to reflect the customer requirements. This business concepts are utilized for the early phase in R&D planning.

        산업의 중심이 제품에서 서비스로 이동하면서 보다 경쟁력을 갖춘 서비스를 제공하기 위한 기업들의 노력이 계속되고 있다. 경쟁력 강화를 위해서 고객의 감각을 자극할 수 있는 요소를 활용하여 서비스 경쟁력을 강화한 사례들이 나타나고 있다. 하지만 감각을 자극할 수 있는 서비스 컨셉 도출을 위한 디자인 관점의 방법론과 관련 된 연구는 찾기 쉽지 않다. 이 연구는 디자인을 통한 서비스 혁신을 위해서 감각이 가지고 있는 잠재적인 가치를 새롭게 조명하고 감각 중심의 제품․서비스 컨셉 도출을 위한 워크숍 방법론을 제안하는데 그 목적을 두고 있다. 연구의 수행을 위해서 기존의 아이디어 워크숍과 감각 중심의 제품․서비스 혁신사례 및 감각의 가치와 관련된 문헌자료를 조사하였으며, 기존의 아이디어 워크숍 방법론에 감각의 관점을 정립한 방법론을 체계화 하였다. 정 립한 방법론의 검증을 위해서 수행된 사례연구를 통해서 워크숍 방법론에서 수정 및 보완되어야 하는 요소들을 추출하였다. 연구의 결과 제안된 감각 중심의 아이디어 워크숍 방법론에 대한 유용성을 검증할 수 있었고, 개선방향에 대한 의견을 수렴하였다. 결론적으로 이 연구는 감각에 대한 새로운 관점의 접근법을 제안한 것에 가장 큰 의의를 둘 수 있으며 또한 이러한 접근을 위한 구체적인 아이디어 워크숍 방법론을 제안하고 검증한 것에 의 의를 둘 수 있다.

        The core of vertical space greening of urban architecture which is an effective approach to build the green healthy living environment and to increase urban green space, is the ecological planting epidermis design. By means of learning the experience of international ecological planting design of construction epidermis, the paper reviews principles of ecological planting design of construction epidermis and the relationship between this and planting design, which bases on the concept of BBL, the bioclimatic buffering layer. Furthermore, it aims to find new creative ideas of the combination of green plants and construction epidermis design, in order to provide references for Chinese construction epidermis design practice.

        At present, the significance of a new manufacturing system that can shift from ‘mass production’ and consider life cycles of a product is pointed out and extremely expected. In such a situation, it is recognized that the modular design, often called ‘unit design,’ is the important design methodology which realizes the new production system enabling ‘cost reduction,’ ‘flexible production of a multi-functional artifact,’ ‘settlement of an environmental issue,’ and so on. A module (unit) of a product is generally defined as ‘the parts group made into the sub-system from a certain specific viewpoint.’ So far, there have been many researches related to the modular design. However, they are often limited to a certain viewpoint (objective). This paper proposes a simple but effective method for multi-objective modular design. In the proposed method, a new design metric, called similarity index, is proposed to evaluate the modular design candidates from the multiple viewpoints.

        The objective of this study is to develop naturalistic knit designs inspired by Yann Arthus-Bertrand’s works. For this purpose, we examined the present style of naturalism and history of naturalism though literature research, and then developed designs. The results are as follows: First, as scientific realism originated from a philosophical concept was adopted in literature and other genres, its meanings have been altered and comprehensively expanded according to the genres of which the term is being used. Naturalism of the modern times carries strong message of ecology and environmental protection. Second, the modern naturalism in fashion is manifested in expressing the image of nature and plasticity, instead of a mere use of the natural materials. As the aspects of ecology become more significant, elements of retro, recycle, or grunge are additionally integrated in fashion. Third, Naturalism expressed in knitwear is similar with that of other clothing in terms of color and textile, however, silhouette in knitwear is unique in its general naturalness and flowing effects. Embroidery, knitting of Jacquard and Intarsia, or crochet is used to express forms of objects from nature. Visual effects regardless of the contents of yarn, and pattern effects after knitting by using yarn, have influences on the material. Forth, the eight knit designs in expressing naturalism presented in this study took a motif from the works of Yann Arthus-Bertrand. They were created by rendering rhythm of the landscape with emphasis on brown color. Contour and surface touch were expressed through yarn and the structure of knit.

        This thesis is a study on Sook-Jae Lim(1899~1937) and Korean modern design. In modern Korea, design like most cultural advances came from western culture, that was introduced via Japan. So Korean design can be betterunderstood from observing Japanese modern design history. The research on Japanese modern design, however, is not being done actively. Sook-Jae Lim was the first Korean to graduate from the Department of Design at Tokyo Fine Arts School (currently the Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music). He died at a premature 38 years old, so very little of his works exist. That makes the study about him very difficult. From this perspective, the study aims to examine modern design concepts and styles accepted into Korea from Japan and position Lim as an early design pioneer in Korean design history, by using research of Korean and Japanese design fields in the modern era with focus on Lim and his works. Chapter II researches the process of how the concept of design was formed in modern Japan and how the “Art-Nouveau” style not only represents early modern design but also features Lim's works dominantly. Chapter Ⅲ looks into the process of how the concept of design was formed and which design styles were introduced and applied in modern Korea. Chapter Ⅳ analyzes how Lim's viewpoint on design and his works were developed with observations about the tendency of the Japanese design field and curriculums of the Tokyo Fine Arts School during the period of his college days.

        인간은 보다 풍요로운 삶을 살고자 하는 욕구와 최근 소비문화의 변화는 대형 할인매장이라는 소비시장의 생성을 가능케 하였고, 이는 할인매장에서 소비자의 사용 편의에 대한 욕구가 더욱 증가하게 되었다. 이러한 대형 할인매장에서 쇼핑방법은 소비자에게 많은 정신적, 육체적 어려움을 주고 있다. 이에 현재 대형 할인매장에서의 문제점을 해결할 수 있는 쇼핑 지원 로봇을 개발, 상용화 시켜 사용자의 원활한 생활 지원을 목적으로 하는 로봇의 디자인 개발을 위한 기초 연구이다. 본 연구에서는 소비자의 쇼핑 지원시 필요한 사용자의 행태 분석과 설문조사를 통해, 쇼핑 지원 로봇의 니즈를 분석 도출하여 쇼핑 지원 로봇의 디자인 개발 시 형태 디자인을 위한 가이드라인을 제안했다.

        현재 우리나라 2차로도로 횡단면 설계기준은 설계속도별 최소 차로폭과 길어깨 기준은 있으나, 다양한 횡단면 구성안이 없어 전국이 획일적인 도로구조 형태를 보이고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 2차로도로의 사고유형별 원인을 규명하고 그에 따른 교통운영 및 안전성 측면에서 횡단면 개선 방안을 수립하고, 평가척도를 선정하였으며, 평가과정을 통해 새로운 횡단면 설계기준을 제시하고 이를 검증하였다. 연구결과 같은 2차로도 도로폭 9~12.9m 보다 6~8.9m 도로가 사고율이 매우 높은 것으로 나타났으며, 대표적 사고유형들의 개선점은 차로 및 길어깨 확장으로 나타났다. 시뮬레이션 결과 도로폭 6~7m 는 교통량 1,000vph에서 급격한 지체 시간 상승을 보이고 있으나. 도로폭 10~11.5m도로는 1.200vph에서 약간의 변화를 보였다. 이 결과(pcu/일)를 국도와 지방도 일평균교통량(대/일)분포와 비교분석 하여 다양한 횡단면 기준을 제시하였다.

        보도육교의 목적과 의미는 매우 다양해 질 수 있다. 현대교량은 지역을 연결한다는 단순기능외에도 주위환경을 고려한 기능적 미적, 기술적 고려사항들을 담고 있다. 이러한 다각적인 교량의 역할을 가능하게 하는 설계개념을 모색하였다. 그리고 이들 다양한 설계개념을 교량에 반영하는 방식을 고찰하기 위하여 해외 창의적인 교량의 사례들을 살펴보았다.
