        Wearable computers can be defined as next generation clothing integrated with various digital functions and devices. Unlike existing computers, they are viewed as human-centric computers customized for information utilization and other specific human needs. This study is intended to discover how consumers are accepting wearable computers, which are different from existing computers, based on Technology Acceptance Model(TAM) and to extend the model by adding variable regarding acceptance of wearable computers. A total of 683 copies of questionnaires, distributed to those aged 19 and older, both male and female, were collected online. The data was statistically analyzed for this study using the extended TAM. In order to test hypotheses, the structural equation model using the Lisrel 8.30 version was performed. For analyzing constructs(or traits) of research model, exploratory factor was conducted and the measurement model was assessed from the result. Reliability was assessed through confirmatory factor analysis and the calculation of Cronbach's alpha coefficients. Overall, model fit was assessed by statistical indexes: Chi-square value, GFI, AGFI, and RMR. This study analyzed the process of acceptance of wearable computers with the extended TAM that includes a variable, perceived value, on the basis of previous studies. The results of the analysis revealed that attitude toward wearable computer was directly influenced by perceived usefulness and perceived value but indirectly influenced by perceived ease of use. Acceptance intention of the wearable computer was directly influenced by perceived value and attitude toward wearable computer. To be more specific, perceived usefulness was significantly correlated with both attitude toward wearable computer and acceptance intention of the wearable computer. Perceived value was also significantly correlated with both attitude toward wearable computer and acceptance intention of the wearable computer. The results of this study also suggested that perceived ease of use was actually a causal antecedent to perceived usefulness and perceived value. This research revealed that extended TAM to investigate the acceptance of wearable computer was appropriate. This study is intended to provide a theoretical framework for adoption of wearable computer and suggest empirical analysis that can serve as a guide for wearable computer.

        본 연구에서는 상용화된 MP3-playing 의류와 생체신호 센싱 의류 제품에 따라 소비자들의 수용모델에 있어서 차이가 있는지를 분석하였다. 제품종류에 따른 구성변수의 차이를 분석하기 위하여 SPSS 15.0 package를 사용하여 t-test를 하였고, 구조방정식 모형에 있어서 제품종류에 따라 각 경로의 차이를 밝히기 위하여 AMOS 5.0을 이용한 다중집단 분석을 실시하였다. 총 557부의 온라인 설문에 대한 유효 표본을 분석한 결과, 소비자들은 지각된 사용용이성은 MP3-playing 의류를 높게 인식하였으나 지각된 유용성, 지각된 가치, 태도, 수용의도는 모두 생체신호 센싱 의류를 MP3-playing 의류에 비해 상대적으로 높게 인식하는 것으로 나타났다. 상용화된 제품의 판매가격에 대한 소비자들의 인식을 밝히고자 투입한 지각된 가치는 소비자들의 태도나 수용의도를 형성하는데 중요한 매개역할을 하는 것으로 입증되었다. 제품의 종류에 따른 특성상 소비자들의 수용모델에 있어서 경로의 차이도 발생했다. 생체신호 센싱 의류의 경우 MP3-playing 의류에서는 지지되었던 '지각된 유용성→태도' 경로가 기각되었고 '지각된 가치→태도'의 경로가 상대적으로 높게 나타났으며 MP3-playing 의류보다 지각된 가치의 매개 역할이 더 높게 분석되었다. 이와 같은 결과를 고찰해 볼 때, 스마트 의류는 이제 상용화 초기 단계에 있으므로 소비자들은 구매의사결정과정 중 필요의 인식이나 정보의 탐색단계에 있을 것이므로 이에 필요한 효과적인 상용화 전략의 수립이 필요하다고 할 수 있다.

        IPTV services, as the convergence service of communication and broadcasting, are regarded as the essential information communication media in the New Economy era by providing the consumers with various services through the collaboration among communications, broadcasting and many of other media service providers. The research starts with recognition that, in the new media era, where communication and broadcasting are converging, there are endless demands for new services and various contents, which are driving forces behind the business model of IPTV. In other words, the research expected that customer satisfaction and purchase intention would be different according to the service quality(contents). It was expected that the difference of the perceived service quality(contents) could cause the difference of the process of adopting new technologies. The study on how consumers are satisfied with services provided, and which factors of the service quality have a more significant effect on consumer satisfaction will provide very valuable information for forecasting future trends in the IPTV market. The research tried to investigate factors which influence on consumer satisfaction and loyalty through an empirical survey with real users of IPTV services. Based on the results, the research suggested effective ways of diffusing IPTV.

        This study aims to understand the determinant of the employee’s intention to use information system within the framework of the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and Information System Success Model (ISSM). This paper also aims to examine the influence of ISSM dimension on the perceived usefulness and the perceived ease of use. The research respondents were 248 employees of Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) who are users of the Financial Information System (SIKEU). Data was obtained using a questionnaire that was distributed online via Google form. The data analysis method used is Structural Equation Model (SEM) analysis using the Warp-PLS software. The results showed that the dimensions of TAM (perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness) had a positive and significant influence on the employee’s intention to use SIKEU. The ISSM dimension (system quality and information quality) also had a significant influence, although other ISSM dimensions (service quality) had not been proven to have a significant influence on the employee’s intention to use SIKEU. Moreover, the results showed that the employee’s intention to use is a determinant of SIKEU’s actual usage. Perceived ease of use was significantly determined by system quality, information quality, and service quality. In addition, the perceived usefulness was significantly determined by system quality and information quality.

        Seeing the existence of MSME needs that have still not been met although this sector is undeniably important in Indonesian economy, changes in community behaviour and the intensity of the use of technology in the community, financial technology (fintech) has a lot of potentials to become a part of the solution of the problem commonly faced by MSMEs. Therefore this research needs to be done to observe the potential of fintech in integrating MSMEs in terms of the application of technology and knowledge from the community related to fintech. By using Technology Acceptance Model, this research tries to understand the determinant factors of the fintech application used by MSME. Based on the research framework and model, path analysis method used in this research. This research uses primary data gathered by the questioner, which was distributed to MSME. From the analysis conducted, we can conclude that the external factors tested in this research could have an effect on the behaviour intention through perceived usefulness in MSME practice of financial technology. Large variation in MSME educational background, busineess age and size would become a challenge in promoting fintech application, therefore this finding suggests that fintech should be promoted by highlighting what benefits can be obtained by using fintech application.

        The development of mobile Internet services allows more consumers to adopt smartphones as their primary communication device. This study focused on the application of the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) to determine the willingness of batik and textile craftsmen to use smartphones. The population of this study was batik and textile craftsmen in the Bayat, Klaten, Central Java, Indonesia. A total sample of 243 people had answered 30 questions on the questionnaire with a 5-point Likert scale. The results of data analysis using GSCA software showed that, from eight hypotheses proposed, two hypotheses had not been supported. Technical support was not significant for the ease-ofuse. It is because the damage experienced can be easily resolved by a repair shop. The findings reinforce the importance of training during the implementation of new technology. This training can make the users understand how to use new technology. The findings of this study strengthen the theory of TAM. Management support further influences the usefulness. This finding supports the theory of Igbaria technology acceptance. However, social influence did not significant influence the usefulness. This was because this study was conducted when the smartphone was no longer said to be a new technology.

        This study was conducted to analyze factors affecting acceptance of smart farm technology. Smart farm technology is rapidly being introduced to agriculture in accordance with the progress of the 4th Industrial Revolution, but research on this is still little. Therefore, in this study, based on the unified theory of acceptance and use of technology (UTAUT), a research model reflecting the characteristics of smart farm technology was constructed. To test this, empirical analysis was performed. A survey was conducted for students in smart farm technology education and adult male and female farmers who are currently planning to operate smart farms. Valid 204 sample were used for analysis. The hypothesis test was based on multiple regression analysis using SPSS 24 statistical package. For the mediating effect and moderating effect, Process Macro 3.4 based on the regression equation was used. The results of testing the hypothesis are as follows. First, in the causal hypothesis test, it was shown that performance expectancy, social influence and price value have a significant positive effect on the intention to use smart farm technology. On the other hand, effort expectancy, facilitating conditions were not tested for a significant influence on the use of smart farm technology. As a result of analyzing the mediating effect of trust, it was found that trust plays a mediating role between performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions, price value and intention to use smart farm technology. In particular, the effort expectancy has not been tested for a direct significant effect on intention to use smart farm technology, but it has been shown to have an impact through trust. Trust was found to be a full mediating between the effort expectancy and the intention to use the smart farm technology. The current IT level of prospective users has been shown to play a moderating role between performance expectancy, facilitating conditions and intention to use smart farm technology. In particular, the IT level was found to strengthen the relationship between performance expectancy and intention to use smart farm technology. Based on the results of these studies, academic and practical implications were suggested.

        Purpose: This study is to examine the intention of the elderly who live alone in the customized AI speaker for the elderly living alone to improve the quality of life service for the elderly living alone in the smart city environment. Based on the quality of life model of the elderly, this study is applied to the technology acceptance model to investigate the relationship between perceived usefulness and ease of use on the sustained use intention. Research design, data and methodology: Residents in Suwon, Gyeonggi-do, selected as candidate local governments for the Smart City Challenge Project of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport in June 2019 to measure the perceived technology acceptance of potential users for the AI technology for the elderly living alone as part of the smart city technology. In order to evaluate the intention of using AI speaker, which is the target system of this study, a video of a chatbot using experience of elderly people living alone was produced. Results: First of all, in order for the elderly living alone to have an attitude to use AI-based speakers, there should be a perceived usefulness of the quality of life of the elderly. However, ease of use did not show any significant causal relationship to attitude toward use. In addition, the attitude toward use weakly influenced the intention to use. In other words, elderly people living alone were not likely to have a significant effect on their attitude toward use. However, feeling that AI speakers are easy to use will help to improve the quality of life, which in turn led to the attitude toward using AI speakers, which could lead to indirect effects. Finally, the perceived usefulness of quality of life was found to have a weak effect on direct use intentions. Conclusions: This study conducted a study on the technology acceptance of service environment to improve the quality of life for the specific user group who live alone in the smart seat environment. In this study, we examined the effects of AI speaker on the elderly living alone to improve the quality of life for the elderly living alone.

        본 연구의 목적은 영유아 교사를 대상으로 스마트 교육 수용 요인을 분석하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 기술수용모델(TAM)을 적용하여 인지된 조직지원, 스마트 교육의 인지된 용이성, 인지된 유용성, 태도, 그리고 스마트 교육 의도 간의 구조적 영향 관계를 분석하였다. 연구대상은 수도권 지역 유치원과 어린이집에 재직 중인 교사 417명이며, 설문조사를 실시하였다. 자료 분석은 SPSS, AMOS를 이용하여 측정모형 분석, 상관분석, 구조모형 분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과 인지된 조직 지원은 스마트 교육의 용이성 보다는 유용성에 더 큰 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 스마트 교육에 대해 유용성을 충분히 인식하고 긍정적인 태도가 형성된 영유아 교사일수록 스마트 교육 운영에 대해 적극적인 의도를 보이게 되는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 유아교육현장에서 스마트 교육 활성화를 위해서는 영유아 교사의 스마트 교육 유용성에 관한 인식을 높이는 것이 필요하며 이를 위한 지원이 요구됨을 시사한다.

        Purpose – There are common factors both in Technology Readiness and Acceptance Model and Technology Paradox Theory which can be put together and made in one unified model. The unified model can provide the following merits. First, the unified model is simple but contains factors of the models. Second, the unified model can clarify the process of technology acceptance of common consumers. Third, the unified model can provide the opportunities to analyze the negative sides of new technology, thus find ways to improve the level of acceptance by general consumers. Research design, data, and methodology – The 450 questionnaires were handed out to people around Seoul and 421 were collected. Except insincere and wrong-marked ones, 402 were used to analyze. SPSS program was used to analyze. Factor analysis, regression analysis was conducted to test the hypotheses. Results – By analyzing sub-factors of both models and binding the common factors in one category, we accomplish one model. And we tested the model by empirical method. The results show that the results from the unified model are almost same as the results from the two models. In other words, the unified model works. Conclusions – Explaining one state of affair by two different method is in some sense distracting attention. By devising a new model including factors of both models, we can explain the affair more straightforward and efficiently. At first the technology acceptance model was devised to explain the technology users in an organization and the following tests and revised models were for the similar purposes. However, as on-lone activities including contracts have been expanded and become important, consumers as the technology uses have emerged as first factor to consider. In accordance models to explain this situation has been suggested. The model suggested in this research is one of the models but it has the following merits. That is, it is simple but has strong explanation power, it can clarify the process of technology acceptance of common consumers by containing negative sides of consumer conception, and thus, it can provide the opportunities to analyze the negative sides of new technology, also find ways to improve the level of acceptance by general consumers.

        The paper explores determinants of corporate adoption of social media and the role of technology acceptance model in the path. This paper assimilates some components of the technology acceptance dimension and social expectation theories to determine corporate intentions to use social media. Six hundred and forty-eight samples collected from hotel staff in Korea are analyzed using factor analysis, structural equation model techniques and one-way analysis of variance. The results show that corporate needs, social expectations, ease of use and usefulness should be viewed as important antecedents explaining the firm’s behavioral intention to use social media. The study also finds that the ease of use and usefulness of the technology acceptance model have positive directional mediation effects in the path diagram.
