The legless mealybug, Antonina nakaharai Williams and Miller (Hemiptera: Pseudococcidae) is recorded from bamboos (Poaceae) in Korea. An identification key to adult females of three species of Antonina from the Korean Peninsula is also provided.

Thirteen species of mealybugs were intercepted in quarantine at Korean ports of entry on plant materials from China over the past 9 years (2000-2009). Of these, Phenacoccus madeirensis Green has been newly reported in China through this study. This list and key are provided to assist in identifying intercepted specimens of mealybugs from China.

초 록 1990년부터 1991년까지 전남 나주지방의 배재배단지에서 배를 가해하는 가루깍지벌레류의종, 가해양상 및 개체군 밀도변동에 관해서 연구한 결과 온실가루깍지벌레, 가루깍지벌레, 버들가루깍지벌레의 3종이 조사되었으며, 그 중 온실가루깍지벌레가 80.6%로 우점종이었다. 품종에 따른 따른 피해과율은 39.7%로 풍수에서 가장 높았으나 포장의 위치에 다른 피해에는 차이가 없었다. 피해도는 만생종인 신고에서 21.2%로 가장 높았고, 다음은 중생종 풍수 18.2%, 조생종 행수 13.3% 순이었다. 봉지내 충의 밀도는 6월 중순부터 증가하기 시작하여 7월 중순 1차 peak, 8월 중순 2차, 10월 상순에 3차 peak를 나타냈다. 피해과율은 1차 peak때 48%이었고, 2차 peak가 지난 7일후에 50.6%로 가장 높았으며, 밀도는 10월초에 다시 증가하였으나 저온 때문에 이동은 활발하지 않았다.
