This paper is an exploratory study on the success factors of Defence Quality Management System (DQMS) which is the certification system granted by the military for improving the quality of munitions. DQMS is established by adding military requirements to the ISO standard, thus, we especially focus on the additional requirements to figure out success key factors of DQMS certification. The 51 additional requirements of Korean Defense Specification (KDS) are empirically investigated from 67 companies that acquired DQMS certification. Firstly, we conduct an independent t-tests on 51 additional requirements of KDS 0050-900-3 to determine if there is a difference between an easily certified company and a hard-to-certify company, and obtain 8 requirements such as ‘Internal propagation of performance’, ‘Preparation of documented work instructions’, ‘Work instructions in the workplace’, ‘Documentation of equipment management’, ‘Inventory management’, ‘Packaging and identification’, ‘Guarantee of access to internal audit result for customers’, ‘Notification to the customer for improper product.’ Secondly, we carry out an factor analysis to the 51 additional requirements for classification, and figure out that 4 requirements among the 8 requirements above mentioned are grouped together in the same factor. The 4 requirements are ‘Preparation of documented work instructions’, ‘Work instructions in the workplace’, ‘Packaging and identification’, and ‘Guarantee of access to internal audit result for customers.’ The result of this paper will provide useful information to the company preparing for DQMS.

An Automatic feed mechanism is one of the most important systems that make up the air defence gun. The System which consists of consecutive mechanisms from a magazine to the breech of automatic machine gun(Dual) carries ammunitions through the feeding pass with a high speed by the electric boosters to synchronize with gun firing speed. In order to feed the rounds smoothly without jamming, it is necessary to optimize the design of the driving torque needed to carry them and to get a proper distribution of power between rounds after performing mathematical calculation. In this study, in order to predict and prevent malfunctions of feeding and unloading ammunition, we have developed an optimal computational model using CATIA and multi-body dynamics software, ADAMS.

Acetylcholinesterase (AChE) is a target enzyme of organophosphate (OP) and carbamate (CB) insecticides. Point mutation in AChE is one of the major mechanisms of OP and CB resistance. Recently, we investigated soluble AChEs abundantly expressed in the non-neuronal tissues of the honey bee Apis mellifera and fruit fly Drosophila melanogaster. Pre-incubation of OP and CB insecticides with honey bee soluble AChE showed a significant reduction in the inhibition of catalytic AChE activity. In the fruit fly, expression of soluble AChE was induced by insecticide exposure, and the wild-type fly expressing both soluble and membrane-anchored AChEs was more tolerant to insecticide than the transgenic fly expressing only membrane-anchored AChE. These findings suggested that soluble form of AChE is possibly involved in chemical defense against xenobiotics, including insecticides.

이 논문은『좌선의(坐禪儀)』와『천태소지관(天台小止觀)』에 나타난 수행자를 방해하는 장애인 마경(魔境)·마라(魔羅)와, 프로이드(Freud)의 자아방어기제 (self-defense mechanism)를 비교 연구하였다. 이를 통해 수행에 내적·외적 장애를 주는 마경과 인간심리를 불안하게 하고 마음에 왜곡되게 작용하는 방어 기제는 어떠한 상관관계가 있는지 살펴보고, 마경을 현대적으로 해석하여 상담 시 어떤 식으로 응용할 것인가에 대해 다루었다. 『좌선의』의 마경과『천태소지관』의 마사(魔事)는 수행도중에 찾아와 수행을 방해하는 마귀, 마군으로 수행을 하지 않는 일반인들에게 똑같이 나타나는 현상 은 아니다. 그럼에도 불구하고 수행과 무관하게 인간은 미래에 대한 불안과 걱 정, 과거경험의 그림자에 시달려 현재를 제대로 살아가지 못하는 경우가 많다. 수행자가 자신의 내면을 반조하고 마를 알아차려 극복, 포용, 치유할 수 있다면 예비수행자인 일반인도 얼마든지 자신의 마음을 치유하고 들여다볼 수 있을 것 이다. 모든 사람의 내면에는 참 성품인 불성(佛性)이 자리하고 있기 때문이다. 논의하는 초점은 다르겠지만 프로이드가 주장한 자아방어기제도 있는 그대 로의 내면을 드러내지 못하고 각 상황과 대상에 맞게 자신을 보호하는 역할을 하며 고통스러운 상황에 적응하려는 무의식적 노력이다. 방어기제의 사용은 불 안을 감소시킬 뿐 아니라 인간관계에 있어 긍정적 결과를 가져오기도 하지만 자아가 불안과 두려움에 대응하는 데 동원된 심리적 책략은 다양한 왜곡으로 나타나게 된다. 이러한 면에서 수행을 방해하고 바른 깨달음을 얻으려고 하는 수행자의 선근을 파괴하는 마와 방어기제는 상관성이 있다고 하겠다. 이에 선의 대표적인 수행법인『좌선의』의 마경과 프로이드의 자아방어기제 를 비교, 분석함으로써 두 이론이 서로 어떠한 상관관계가 있으며 현대 상담에 어떻게 접목하여 현대인의 불안을 직시하고 감소시킬 수 있는지를 고찰하였다.

In order to improve participation and quick decision-making in an emergency, the Voluntary Participation Program was recommended in this study for effective management of Civil Defense. The problems in the Law and Administration group and Forced Education by Mobilization system were analyzed through actual conditions of Civil Defense management and participation. In order to improve these problems, cases such as “Extension of Participation Methods”, “Cooperation Activities with Civil Groups”, “Usage of Community Information” were studied. Based on the investigation results, domestic applicability was recommended.

Since the implementation of the disengagement plan in 2005, Israel has alleged that it no longer occupies the Gaza Strip and claimed its right to legitimate self-defence based on Article 51 of the United Nations Charter, including the suffocating blockade imposed there as well as the ‘Cast Lead’military Operation and others. This paper analyzes Israeli’s claim in light of international law and the objective facts taking place in the Gaza Strip resulting from the implementation of the disengagement plan.
