        상⋅하수도 관로 시설은 대표적인 국가기반 시설물로서 국민생활에 있어서 매우 중요한 라이프 라인이다. 지진으로 인한 관로시설의 손상은 급수의 차단을 유발하여 심각한 피해를 초래할 가능성이 매우 크다. 그러므로 상⋅하수도 관로 시설은 지진으로부터 반듯이 안전하게 보호되어야 할 필요가 있다. 지진 및 지반침하로 인한 설계변위를 초과하는 상대변위는 구조물과 연결되는 배관의 이음부에서 손상을 발생시킨다. 벨로우즈형 신축이음관은 온도차에 의한 배관의 팽창 및 변형을 흡수하고 기계진동에 의한 배관의 손상을 막기 위한 장치이다. 본 연구에서는 매설된 상⋅하수도 관로를 보호하고자 지진변위와 지반침하 대응을 목적으로 벨로우즈를 적용하였다. 적층형 하이드로포밍 메탈 벨로우즈는 기존의 벨로우즈와 달리 지진과 같은 저주 기피로하중에 대한 내구성이 우수하다. 따라서 3ply 벨로우즈형 신축이음관을 대상으로 반복가력 굽힘시험을 수행하고 지진안전성과 내침하성능을 평가하였다. 그 결과, 3ply 벨로우즈형 신축이음관은 8.8°이상의 횡방향 변형각에 대응할 수 있는 것으로 나타났다.

        Due to advancements in technology and manufacturing capability, it is not uncommon that life tests yield no or few failures at low stress levels. In these situations it is difficult to analyse lifetime data and make meaningful inferences about product or system reliability. For some products or systems whose performance characteristics degrade over time, a failure is said to have occurred when a performance characteristic crosses a critical threshold. The measurements of the degradation characteristic contain much useful and credible information about product or system reliability. Degradation measurements of the performance characteristics of an unfailed unit at different times can directly relate reliability measures to physical characteristics. Reliability prediction based on physical performance measures can be an efficient and alternative method to estimate for some highly reliable parts or systems. If the degradation process and the distance between the last measurement and a specified threshold can be established, the remaining useful life is predicted in advance. In turn, this prediction leads to just in time maintenance decision to protect systems. In this paper, we describe techniques for mapping product or system which has degrading performance parameter to the associated classical reliability measures in the performance domain. This paper described a general modeling and analysis procedure for reliability prediction based on one dominant degradation performance characteristic considering pseudo degradation performance life trend model. This pseudo degradation trend model is based on probability modeling of a failure mechanism degradation trend and comparison of a projected distribution to pre-defined critical soft failure point in time or cycle.

        In cloud and game servers, SSDs are used as cache on large capacity disk-based storage. In that configuration, the SSD can be exploited as write-back or write-through cache. Though the write-back cache can improve write performance significantly, data can be lost when the SSD fails. On the contrary, performance improvement is limited in the write-through cache though it has high reliability. By the way, reliability can be improved by applying RAID technique to SSD cache while exploiting write-back for better performance. In this paper, we analyse the reliability and the performance of hybrid storage using SSD cache over disk-based primary storage. In particular, we mathematically analyse reliability and also measure performance of real storage systems with various SSD cache configurations.

        The purpose of this study was to investigate inter- and intra- rater reliability in an interview and a computerized oral test. It was also examined whether rater characteristics influenced on their reliability and biases, and finally the scores of both tests were compared with those of the Versant test using an automated computer rating system. For the study, the data from 21 Korean university students and 18 Korean or native speakers of English raters with various characteristics were collected. Some of the main findings from the study were as follows. First, rater severity was significantly different in each test, but each rater consistently graded on both tests suggesting lower inter-rater reliability and higher intra-rater reliability. Secondly, rater severity was impacted by the rater characteristics such as mother tongue, gender, age, and major. Lastly, there existed a positive correlation among the scores of the three tests, indicating that the scores of human beings and computers are strongly related.

        In industrial situation, electronic and electro-mechanical systems have been using different type of batteries in rapidly increasing numbers. These systems commonly require high reliability for long periods of time. Wider application of battery for low-power design as a prime power source requires us knowledge of failure mechanism and reliability of batteries in terms of load condition, environment condition and other explanatory variables. Battery life is an important factor that affects the reliability of such systems. There is need for us to understand the mechanism leading to the failure state of battery with performance characteristic and develop a method to predict the life of such battery. The purpose of this paper is to develope the methodology of monitoring the health of battery and determining the condition or fate of such systems through the performance reliability to predict the remaining useful life of primary battery with load condition, operating condition, environment change in light of battery life variation. In order to evaluate on-going performance of systems and subsystems adopting primary batteries as energy source, The primitive prototype for performance reliability analysis device was developed and related framework explained.

        대동작 운동 수행능력 측정도구(GMPM)는 뇌성마비 아동의 움직임을 질적인 면에서 평가하기 위해 개발된 도구이다. 이 연구의 목적은 대동작 운동 수행능력 측정도구의 측정자간 신뢰도를 알아보는 것이다. 뇌성마비 아동 10명(평균 5.6세, 범위 4~8세)에게 GMPM 평가를 실시하였다. 평가 과정을 비디오로 녹화하여 각 속성 항목별로 3명의 평가자간의 급간내 상관계수로 일치도를 보았다. 전반적으로 측정자간 신뢰도는 '불량~보통'범주에 속했다. 이 연구의

        목적: 본 연구에서는 TOPS의 개선 버전인 스포츠 수행전략 2(TOPS 2)의 문화적으로 적합한 번역 문항을 개발하고, TOPS 2 한국판의 타당도과 신뢰도에 대한 증거를 제공하는 것이다. 방법: TOPS 2는 시합 환경에서 9개의 심리 전략(혼잣말, 감정조절, 자동적 수행, 목표설정, 심상, 활성화, 긴장풀기, 부정적 생각, 주의산만)을 평가하도록 구성되었다. 이 척도에는 주의산만이 새로운 하위요인으로 추가되었다. 스포츠 심리학과 이중 언어 전문가들이 총 9요인 36개의 시합상황 문항을 영어에서 한국어로 번역해 원본 문항과 비교했다. 또한 총 50명의 대학 운동선수들이 번역된 문항의 의미와 명확성을 검토하고 피드백을 제공했다. 한국판 TOPS 2의 구조타당성 검증을 위해 탐색적 요인분석, 확인적 요인분석을 실시하였고, 후속분석으로 내적동기(IMI)와 스포츠 불안(SAS)과의 상관분석과 주전여부에 따른 차이검증을 실시하였다. 결과: 탐색적 요인분석의 결과는 28개 문항의 8요인 구조가 적합한 것으로 나타났다. 원본 TOPS 2의 자동적 수행과 활성화 요인의 일부 문항이 단일 요인으로 합쳐져 예비 한국판 TOPS 2는 8개 요인이 되었다. 확인적 요인분석은 한국판 TOPS 2의 8요인 구조를 지지했다. 또한 추가적인 분석으로 이 버전의 신뢰도와 타당도에 대한 증거를 제시하였다. 신뢰도 분석 또한 안정성과 내적 일관성에 대한 적절한 증거를 보여 주었다. 결론: TOPS 2의 한국어 버전은 이전 TOPS 버전보다 개선되었을 뿐 아니라 심리 기술을 측정하는데 있어서 유효하고 신뢰할 수 있는 도구이다.

        Purpose: The purpose of the current study was to provide preliminary evidence for reliability and validity of a new golf performance profiling technique. The technique was designed to assess both ideal need states required for successful performance in competition and present performance states of an athlete. Methods: Two groups of golfers responded to the golf performance profile comprised of important elements of golf skills, physical fitness and psychological skills. An additional group of golfers participated in psychological skills training (PST) sessions. Scores on need state, current state were measured before and after the PST sessions. The number of weeks until the golfers who attained their optimal zone on their performance elements actually showed their personal best performance was monitored. Results: The results from test and retest (1 week and 4 week distance) showed temporal stability across different performance elements. Golfers who participated in PST demonstrated improved scores on the majority of the elements, which could be an evidence of validity. Those reached optimal zones in the performance profile achieved their personal best performance within an average of 17 weeks. This golf performance profiling technique would be a useful tool for motivating athletes’ preparation toward competition and predicting their successful performance.

        In this study, We expected a performance for asphalt pavement in bridge decks using survival functions on reliability theory. The sample data were extracted in the Highway Bridge Management System(HBMS). It were 1,132 bridges that were calibrated by a construction report and filtering of inconsistent data. The average life of all the Asphalt Pavement in Bridge Decks was about 12years.
