Since more than 70% of our country is made of mountains, a lot of underground facilities and tunnels are used for efficient use of limited land space. Recently, Shield TBM method has been used a lot since 1980. In this paper, we selected add factors for Damage factors of shield TBM method. And we analyzed weighting factors using AHP method.
In this site, TBM tunnel section was composed of weak-to-moderate fine sedimentation layer, mixing claystone with gypsum. Maximum advance rate of shield TBM hits a record of digging during the tunnel work period. It is to be compared the site's cycle time data with planning stage.
This paper analyzed the damage type from completed shield TBM tunnels in case study. To identify damage type, the reports on field investigation and maintenance with 6 sites were performed an analysis. As results of the analysis, the various damage types were presented in completed shield TBM tunnels. However, completed shield TBM tunnels were expected to be available as permanent structure through regular maintenance.
Not long ago, most escavation methods for tunnel or underground structure are selected by NATM method. But these days such as Shield TBM or Semi-shield TBM are applicated for structure length and ground condition. On the other hand almost TBM technology is depend on foreign country, so this technology is much a work in process. In this study, information factors during TBM tunnel construction was suggested by analysis in-situ data
