20~23세의 한국 여자대학생을 대상으로 아름다운 손에 대한 손의 형태적 특성과 감성과의 상관관계를 평가하였다. 감성평가 방법으로 손의 아름다움을 각각 10 등급으로 분류하고 이를 손의 형태학적 특성과 감성평가 등급파의 상관관계를 정성적 및 정량적으로 분석하는 방법을 적용하였다. 감성평가에 가장 많은 영향을 미치는 인자는 손 길이와 손 폭의 비이었고, 손 길이와 손가락 길이 및 손가락 굵기의 비율도 많은 영향을 주었다. 반면에 손 갈이와 손톱 길이의 비와 손가락 길이와 손톱 길이의 비는 감성평가에 마치는 영향이 상대적으로 미미하였다. 높은 감성평가를 받은 손(아름다운 손)의 특정은 손, 손가락 및 손톱의 길이가 모두 길고, 손과 손가락의 폭이 좁으며, 특히 낮은 감성평가를 받은 손에 비해 상대적으로 손톱의 길이가 모두 길고, 손과 손가락의 폭이 좁으며, 특히 낮은 감성평가를 받은 손에 비해 상대적으로 손톱의 길이가 더 길었다. 결과적으로 손의 모든 형태학적 특성들이 종합적으로 감성에 영향을 미친다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 이러한 연구 결과는 손의 형태학적 특성을 감성적으로 평가한 최초의 정량 및 정성적 보고로 손의 미적 요소에 관한 기초자료를 구축하였고, 이들 정보들은 손과 관련된 다양한 뷰티산업 제품 및 서비스 분야에 활용이 가능하다.

Drosophila melanogaster(OR)와 D. simulans(09) 및 그들 종간 잡종 사이의 형태적 유연관계를 비교하기 위하여 내.외부생식기 및 성즐을 조사하였다. 이를 위하여 D. melanogaster 암컷과 D. simulans 수컷의 교배에서 암컷을, 그 정역 교배로서 수컷을 얻었으며 두 종간 사이의 잡종 들은 모두 불임이었다. 내부생식기의 비교에서, 두종간 (melanogaster female simulans male) 잡종 { 암컷의 경우는 양쪽 난소가 모두 퇴화된 형태였으며, 그 정역교배에 의한 수컷의 정소는 미발달된 상태로 남아 있었다. 이런 형태적 특징은 D. melanogaster P-M system에서의 hybrid dysgensesis에 의한 양상과 매우 유사하였다. 수컷의 앞다리 제1부절에 존재하는 성즐의 평균 치열수는 D. melanogaster와 D. simulans에서 각각 10.73개와 8.35개 였으며, 잡종 수컷의 경우는 9.97개 정도였다. 두 종간 잡종 수컷의 외부 생식기의 전체적인 형태는 D. melanogaster와 비슷하였으나, 부분적으로 D. simulans에 유사하거나 중간적인 형질을 가지는 mosaic 구조였다

For analysis of the relationship among blueberry cultivars, the growth period and morphological characteristics were investigated in 28 blueberry cultivars, and cluster analysis using the SAS program was conducted based on the morphological data. The harvest period was later and longer in rabbiteye blueberry cultivars (Austin, Brightwell, Powderblue, Southland, Tifblue) than in highbush blueberry cultivars. The L/D ratio of flower was more than 2.0 in the Austin, Brightwell, Powderblue, Southland, Tifblue, and Brigitta cultivars, and this could be disadvantageous for pollination. The 28 blueberry cultivars were classified into two groups by the cluster analysis based on growth period and morphological characteristics. Group I included rabbiteye blueberries and Group II included highbush blueberries. However, the northern, southern, and half-highbush blueberry cultivars were not differentiated.

This study were focused on the genetic relationship using RAPDs and some morphological characteristics among eleven taxa Aster collected in Korea. Twenty random primers were selected, a total 216 DNA bands were generated and 213 bands were shown polymorphism among species. The collected eleven taxa were clustered into five groups at 0.609 similarity index. The first group was A. glehni, A. ageratoides, A. maackii and A. scaber was clustered at 0.713 of genetic distance. The second group was A. tataricus and A. koraiensis and the third group was A. spathulifolius, the forth group was A. yomena, A. hayatae and A. hispidus and the fifth was A. tripolium.

Genetic diversity and phylogenetic relationships among five cultivated Capsicum species were assessed using both mor-phological characters and DNA finger-printing patterns. Based on the clustering analysis using morphological characters withineach species
