Purpose: The purpose of this study was to establish basic data for the efficient development of curriculum to ophthalmic optics students and industry for the curriculum in ophthalmic optics. Methods: 183 students who have studied in Gyeonggi province and 123 optometrists who have worked in the optical industry were surveyed in the satisfaction of curriculum and statistical analyzed the results. Results: The curriculum in ophthalmic optics is classified into five categories. The tool used to measure the satisfaction of curriculum was a 5-point Likert scale. The satisfaction of the two groups showed a similar trend(students: 16.44±2.66, industry: 16.47±3.38).
