This study aims to suggest the available additional education courses that can be combined with the existing functional education, which is mainly for the enhancement of safety consciousness, along with a model for the way of management. To achieve the purpose of the study, the construction death accidents for the recent five years were analyzed about their patterns and the scales of the accident sites to infer the main subjects and the direction of hands-on education courses. Based on the analysis results, the recombination and management plans for the construction safety hands-on education courses and the additionally required education courses were proposed.

From the previous research, as a solution of carbonation of high-volume SCM concrete, outstanding performance of emulsified refined cooking oil with applying on the surface of the concrete was suggested. As a comparative study, the aim of this research is evaluating carbonation resistance and pore structure of high-volume SCM concrete depending on the painting substances of emulsified refined cooking oil and modified silicate base permeating paint, which is commercial product by mock-up test.

In experimental results, the prediction equation for 28 day-strength of GGBF slag concrete could be produced through the linear regression analysis of early strength and 28 day-strength. In order to acquire the reliability, all mixture were repeated as 3 times and each mixture order was carried out by random sampling. The prediction equation for 28 day-strength of GGBF slag concrete by 1 day strength won the good reliability.

Recently, assessment of vulnerability of existing dam structures is a rising key issue in aspects of entire life year from design, construction to maintenance even in Korea due to more frequent earthquakes and effects of climate change. This study aims to develop a vulnerability assessment method for existing dam structures by using fragility analysis method based on 2-D FEM analyses, which can take into consideration various uncertainty information to dam structure safety assessment, and which may be incorporated into an integrated safety management platform under development by K-water.

To evaluate the compressive characteristics of concrete with high strain rate, SHPB(Split Hopkinson Pressure Bar) test is typically used. To verify the applicability and reliability of SHPB test for concrete, direct displacement image analysis with high speed camera was performed using plain concrete and UHPC.

Bond strength of PCS-coated rebar is better than that of uncoated rebar and epoxy-coated rebar. It is also high bond strength at curing ages of 7-day or less, and coating thicknesses of 75 μm and 100 μm. The maximum bond strength of PCS-coated rebar at curing age of 3-hour is almost same as that of curing age of 1-day and 7-day. The maximum bond strength of PCS-coated rebar with EVA at polymer-cement ratio of 100%, and coating thickness of 100 μm is about 1.23 and 1.29 times respectively, the strength of uncoated rebar and epoxy-coated rebar. It is apparent that the curing age, coating thickness and polymer cement ratio are very important factors to improve the bond strength of PCS-coated rebar to cement concrete. We can havebasic information that it can replace epoxy coated rebar by the PCS-coated rebar with curing age at 3-hour and coating thickness of 100 μm.

Recently, demand for systematic and scientific management system is increasing as national consciousness of safety improved. Various studies on monitoring and management techniques of important facilities are being carried out, but it is difficult to conduct swift countermeasures in case of real disasters. Specially, damage inflicted by disasters would be preventable when stability of construction sites as in downtown area or tunnel construction sites where human and material damage is expected to be high can be identified promptly. This study developed a scene visualization measurement sensor using LED and applied on the safety management of structures. The scene visualization measurement technique can change the paradigm of existing measurement methods. The technique will allow users to determine safety of structures promptly and easily in real time without professional help. Also, it will reduce professional manpower for structure management during or after completing the construction, and it can minimize damage from disaster occurrence through quick response when unusual symptoms occur.

The purpose of this study is to utilize the basic data and to propose the service life prediction method of RC structures. For this, we analyzed the existing programs used for service life prediction software in international such as U.S, Japan, Greece and Canada. The results of Analysis, the prediction of carbonation and chloride were common items in respectively programs.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the shrinkage of ternary blended concrete based on low-heat cement for reducing the heat of hydration. The main parameters were water-to-binder ratio and curing temperature(5, 20, 40℃). Test results showed that the shrinkage significantly was influenced by water-to-binder ratio than binder type. The shrinkage strain of all of the mixtures was increased with increasing the curing temperature.

In this study, freezing and thawing test of secondary product was performed using the Fiber Reinforced polymer Cement composites. From the test result, it was found that fiber reinforced polymer cement composites resistance of freezing and thawing were better than that of conventional products.

This study is to determine the predictability of the ground cavitation by GPR equipment. Water and sewage pipeline buried in sand and soil tanks and to prepare a specimen for exploration of water and air cavities. The sand for a dielectric constant 8, the soil using 6.5 is preferred to extract data for the asphalt pavement condition. After the GPR detections, the cavity in sand tank rather than soil tank is to obtain more precise data.

The result of structural performance evaluation about circular CFT column-H shape steel beam which was performed as in previous study, even though we designed the Y type plate tension as below the axial force which was under design criteria, the flexure of steel beam was happened. For these reasons, in this study, to figure out the time of connections failure and the minimum value of parameters in order to evaluate the performance of advanced Y type plate in detail.

In this study, impact performance of steel fiber-reinforced concrete was evaluated using existing impact formulae. The existing formulae were evaluated as to whether they can predict impact performance of steel fiber-reinforced concrete well.
