        본 연구는 중학교 기술·가정 교과서 22종을 대상으로 제7학년과 제9학년에 나오는 식물의 종류, 출현빈도 그리고 학습내용을 직업선택과 주거생활과 관련하여 분석하였다. 미래의 기술 대단원에 나오는 식물은 채소류와 화훼류뿐이었다. 채소류는 27종에서 166회 출현하였으며, 화훼류는 42종에서 68회 출현하였다. 채소류는 토마토, 무, 배추가, 화훼류는 국화, 튤립, 선인장이 가장 많이 언급되었다. 원예산업과 관련성이 있는 직업으로 한국표준직업분류에는 33개의 직종이 소개되어 있으나 산업과 진로 대단원에서는 6개의 직종만 소개되어 있었다. 기술․가정 교과서에는 표준직업 분류에 따라 원예산업과 관련성이 높은 33개의 직종은 물론이고 12개의 새로운 직종을 첨가하는 것이 바람직하다. 가족생활과 주거 대단원에서는 식물에 의한 실내환경의 개선 효과를 소개하고, 중학생들이 식물을 가까이 할 수 있도록 유도해야 한다. 즉 원예식물 특히 화훼류의 다양한 기능과 역할을 기술·가정교과의 교육목표와 결부시켜 첨가함으로써 학생들의 인성교육과 정서함양에 도움이 되도록 하는 것은 물론이고, 실내의 환경개선에도 도움이 되도록 하여야 할 것이다. 또한, 미래의 유망 직종 가운데 하나인 화훼장식 분야에 대해서도 직업 선택의 확대라는 관점에서 심도 있게 검토되어야 할 것이다.

        본 연구는 중학교 기술·가정 교과서를 대상으로 제7학년과 제9학년에 나오는 식물의 종류, 출현빈도 그리고 학습내용을 건강과 관련하여 분석하였다. 식물의 출현빈도는 교과서에 따라 달랐다. 채소류는 56종에서 2,121회 출현하였으며, 과일류는 19종에서 322회 출현하여 원예식물은 총 75종에서 2,443회 출현하였다. 출현빈도가 높은 5대 채소류를 보면 제7학년에서는 시금치, 콩, 파, 감자, 무였으나, 제9학년은 무, 감자, 배추, 오이, 당근으로 학년에 따라 출현 종의 차이가 컸다. 이에 비해, 과일류의 경우, 제7학년에는 사과, 귤, 호두, 포도, 잣이었으나 제9학년에서는 호두가 감으로 잣이 바나나로만 바뀌었다. 해조 및 버섯류는 10종에서 235회 출현하였으나 화훼류에 대한 언급은 전혀 없었다. 제7학년에서는 영양소별로 관련이 깊은 식물과 꽃을 보다 구체적으로 소개하고 이들의 출현빈도를 적절히 조절할 필요가 있었다. 제9학년에서는 특정 성분을 하루에 얼마만큼 섭취해야 된다고 구체적으로 언급하고 과일은 좋은 에너지원이라고 강조되었으면 한다.

        This paper proposes a method of avoiding obstacles and tracking a moving object continuously and simultaneously by using new concepts of virtual tow point and fuzzy danger factor for differential wheeled mobile robots. Since differential wheeled mobile robot has smaller degree of freedom to control and are non-holonomic systems, there exist multiple solutions (trajectories) to control and reach a target position. The paper proposes 'fuzzy danger factor' for obstacles avoidance, 'virtual tow point' to solve non-holonomic object tracking control problem for unique solution and three kinds of fuzzy logic controller. The fuzzy logic controller is policy decision controller with fuzzy danger factor to decide which controller's result is more valuable when the mobile robot is tracking a moving object with obstacles to be avoided.

        Rural amenity resources consist of natural, cultural and social resources. Some of resources have been surveyed in other institutes and organizations and information system about these resources has been constructed. Integrating with information of existing system or database is helpful to produce useful rural amenity resources information to users. This integration of distributed information is based on semantic integration. In this paper, we used ontology for semantic integration and introduced the method of external information integration using ontology. We designed ontology table to represent ontology in database and integrated distributed information using ontology. To examine the improvement of information service efficiency and the applicability, rural amenity resources information and tourist attraction information database were constructed and integrated. Also, the information service efficiency with information integration was evaluated using recall ratio and compared to the information service efficiency without information integration.

        Recently 'Rural Amenity Resources Survey' has been launched to preserve unique and various attributes of rural amenity resources in rural areas. While vast amounts of field data are being collected, there has been insufficient means to share and analyze the data among users. This article addresses crucial issues on why more systematical approaches of building an information system to retrieve and represent information more efficiently. In this work, we have developed an alternative 'Rural Amenity Resources Information System' using Web-GIS and ontology, and later examined its applicability.

        Recently many administrative institutes try to improve the viability of rural villages. For increasing the viability, not only infrastructures but internal vitality is necessary in rural villages. Nonetheless, most of governmental projects have been focused on infrastructures. For this reason, RDA(Rural Development Administration) designed and performed the RHL(Rural Healthy and Longevity village) project. This RHL project is not easy to evaluate the outcome because it consists of very intangible project items. In this paper, we developed a scoring model to evaluate the result of the RHL project. The scoring model based on DEA(Data Envelopment Analysis) was suggested to evaluate the quantity of personal activities in each village. Personal activities are classified into five categories: regional life, social life, productive life, outdoor life and indoor life. Evaluating indices of each category are developed and weighting values are evaluated by AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process). The developed model was applied to Kumsan village and examined its applicability.

        As information has been brought to public attention, information storage as well as information usability has been important. Rural information is produced in many areas and institutions. However, it is difficult to use rural information comprehensively. Since formats for management are various, it is difficult to have unified frame. In this research, a schema of database fer integrating rural data is designed to improve usability using dimensional modeling. First of all, rural data are analyzed for designing integrated rural database schema. Rural data used are 'National Agricultural Statistics' and 'Gun annual statistical report'. Analysis shows that there are three considerations; administrative district, time-dependency and classification of data. Considering these three requisite, we designed database schema using dimensional modeling. The reason of using dimensional modeling is to improve usability and effectiveness. If the database was designed using ER modeling, many tables have to be joined every searching time. Separately from integrated rural database schema, user's database schema is designed considering usability. Through user's database, users can modify data or generate new data and save these processes. These make it possible to use generated data repeatedly. We evaluate usability, contribution, and effectiveness of data manipulation on the integrated rural database. We propose an integrated rural database structure improving the accessibility and usability of rural data and information and verified the data model based on a practical example.

        In Korea, rural community has been becomming unstable by declining of agriculture. In order to solve this problem, there were some trials to activate rural communities by maintaining rural amenities. But, it is difficult to use rural amenities as a development factor to promote rural communities because there are few researches about quantifying rural amenities. In this study, a method fer quantifying rural amenities is suggested using database normalization technique. Previous thirty seven surveying items of rural amenity resources are formally reduced to five common surveying items, seven resources, and eleven surveying tables. Finally, big picture of rural amenity resource map with surveying data for rural development is suggested.

        The need for recreation and green-tourism seems to be enhanced greatly according to increasing income and leisure. The rural area and village should be developed and improved with a new direction as basic areas for the green-tourism. This study developed a new methodology to be able to find suitable areas for recreation and green-tourism using GIS and RS. The eight criteria for suitability evaluation of recreation area extracted by GIS and RS techniques from computerized map layers and satellite images have their weighting values, which are quantified by AHP method. The new finding methodology was applied to a study area, the Ansung city in Kyunggi province. The results showed that the suitable area with high score for the recreation and green-tourism were analyzed spatially near by ancient culture and water resources. The new findings enable decision makers to analyze spatially the suitability area of the recreation area and village improvement for the green-tourism.

        According to the growing concerns of the public with efficiency and effects of regional policies, their assessment works have become an important issue. Up to now, several studies have been carried out on economic effects of policies using conventional cost/benefit analysis, while there have been few studies on assessment of amenity oriented policies. From the above consideration, this study tried to develop An Annual Expenditure Assessment Model (AEAM) for amenity-oriented policy-making in rural area. As a pre-work for model development, the hierarchical indices system for rural development and the classification system of expenditure were designed. Being based on high significant relationship between rural amenities and local government expenditure, a linear optimization model for maximization of regional amenity was constructed. Through a case study of Sunchang-gun, Chonbuk-province, the model applicability was ascertained.

        This study tried to construct a direction in regional planning concerning the structural relationship between the ratio of aged population and the industrial characteristics. We investigated this structural relationship incorporating the aged population index and the number of classified companies. We applied diverse statistical analyses to understand the relationship. We classified the number of companies to reflect regional industrial characteristics using the principal component analysis. We applied a multiple regression model to understand the relationship between these two indices. The aged population index represents the degree of being old divided by the ratio of juvenile population and aged population. We found that such industries as manufacturing, service, and conveyance increase the ratio of juvenile population. However, industries such as tourism, waterworks, forestry, agriculture and etc. have a positive effect on the aged population index. In addition to these findings, we believe that the efficacy of this study is the possibility that can be used as the basic data when central or local autonomous entities need to adopt rural development planning.

        In this study, the longevity index was suggested for researches about social and environmental effects to human immorality and criteria for defining longevity area were developed using statistical analysis. Candidates indexes based on researches about the tend of human death ratio were investigated. As a result statistical analysis, ratio of population over 85 yearn old and over 65 years was selected as a longevity index. Statistical analysis on the longevity distribution at each district showed that 'eup' and 'myun' are appropriate spatial unit to study social and geographical characteristics of longevity. The spatial analysis using the ArcViewTM with the suggested index shows the time dependent variances of degree of immorality and spatial relationship between degree of immorality and human migration.

        The purpose of this research was to develop evaluation index of regional development for producing potential values of rural regions besides agriculture on a commercial scale. Rural regions have potential values such as preserved nature and spatial advantages and so on. For regional development, potential values should be synthetically evaluated by objective and standard index for supporting decision. For evaluation of plural functions of rural regions, evaluation index of rural regions was developed based on rural amenity. Applicability of evaluation index was studied using GIS and natural break method.
