        Cross-cultural adaptation is a social behavior that occurs when individuals enter a foreign cultural environment. Cross-cultural adapters learn the moral norms, language customs, and other aspects of the host culture, gradually adapting to and accepting it. They integrate their inherent beliefs, thoughts, emotions, and behavioral patterns with the host culture, forming a diverse multicultural background. Since humans have engaged in cross-geographical interactions, cross-cultural adaptation has existed worldwide. With the development of science and technology and the advent of global economic integration, the world has become a global village. Nowadays, more and more people travel far from their hometowns to study, work, and engage in activities in foreign countries. Cross-cultural encounters bring novelty, mystery, and a sense of pressure, as living in a different culture means making specific changes in lifestyle and thought patterns. This change can be stressful, and not everyone can overcome it to adapt to life in a foreign country successfully. Therefore, cross-cultural adaptation is one of the most essential areas in today’s cross-cultural education. This study explores the internal and external factors that affect the cross-cultural adaptation of international students in South Korea and proposes relevant strategies to improve their cross-cultural adaptation.

        Under the background of economic globalization, the trade between countries in the world is increasing rapidly. Under the rules of WTO, the tariff rate of trade barriers is decreasing, but on the other hand, nontariff barriers are increasing. especially Compared with tariff barriers, green trade barriers have a greater impact on agricultural trade. Therefore, the negative impact of green trade barriers on agricultural products trade is a problem worthy of attention and urgent response in the future agricultural products trade between China and South Korea. Firstly, this paper analyzes the meaning and characteristics of green trade barriers, introduces the current situation of agricultural products trade between China and South China, analyzes the influence of Korean trade barriers on’s agricultural products export trade, and on this basis, forms countermeasures to promote Chinese agricultural products export to South Korea. The research of this paper has certain guiding significance for promoting Chinese agricultural export trade to South Korea.

        Purpose – Since the formal establishment of diplomatic relations between China and South Korea in 1992, bilateral trade between China and South Korea has been developing steadily. To meet the trend of economic globalization and regional economic integration, the governments of China and South Korea formally signed the China-Korea Free Trade Agreement (FTA) in 2015. Taking the recent development of China-Korea trade in the new era as an entry point, this paper proposes suggestions for promoting the sustainable development of bilateral trade by analyzing the current situation of China-Korea trade development. Design/Methodology/Approach – This paper firstly analyzes the development status of China-Korea FTA by combing the data from the Ministry of Commerce of China, and further analyzes the current situation of bilateral trade between China and South Korea by quantitative analysis, and studies the specific impact of China-Korea FTA on the import and export trade between the two countries; finally concludes the above study and makes suggestions. Findings – The development of China-Korea FTA has an obvious role in promoting the trade between the two countries and helps to promote the economic development of both countries. Suggestions include: China and Korea should further expand the depth of bilateral trade cooperation; use the China-Korea FTA to realize the upgrading of industrial structure of both countries; use the China-Korea FTA to expand bilateral cooperation in foreign investment services. Research Implications – The study of the trade effects of the FTA between China and Korea helps both countries to make full use of the opportunities brought by the establishment of the FTA, identify the problems in bilateral trade between China and Korea, and provide policy recommendations for achieving a win-win situation for both countries.

        At present, China has nearly 42million Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, accounting for 99% of the total number of enterprises in China, contributing 60% of GDP to the country. The proportion of trade volume of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises in international import and export trade reaches 65%. They contribute more than 51% of the tax revenue to the country and provide more than 80% of the jobs. Small and Medium-sized Enterprises have become an important force to expand employment, promote innovation, prosper economy and adjust economic structure. However, since the reform and opening up, China’s Small and Medium-sized Enterprises in the process of market economy development gradually from domestic to overseas. Through a large number of domestic Small and Medium-sized Enterprises continue to open up overseas markets to participate in international trade, which promotes the rapid growth of China’s economy, however Small and Medium-sized Enterprises are also facing a series of problems in the process of developing overseas markets. Relevant governmental subdivision needs to pay attention to this and provide help for the healthy development of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises.

        Purpose: To study the narrative characteristics and narrative strategies of new media display design.         The purpose of this study is to analyze the efficiency of research institutes of futures companies, and to promote the development of futures market and real economy. This study employs DEA-solver software to conduct super-efficiency data envelopment analysis (SE-DEA), and also selects 40 representative futures research institutes in China as decision-making units (DMUs). For data of input and output indicators, we collect from the China Futures Association, Futures Daily, Hexun.com and Webstock.com respectively, and the time duration is the 103 trading days between from October 2019 to February 2020. Then the indicator for the strategy accuracy rate is calculated separately by analyzing the strategies published by each DMUs in public media. In conclusions, most institutes have excessive investment in human resources, and also have insufficient strategy accuracy rate and insufficient published research reports. The findings of this study suggest that Chinese futures companies need to improve the efficiency of research institutes, and better meet the demand of the financial market. In fact, the analysis of the efficiency of the futures company research institute has not been found in the literature worldwide, Application of DEA model in efficiency analysis of securities and futures research institutions and establishment of indicators are the innovations of this paper.

        This research investigates the consequences of the increase in corporate use of short-term debt in China over the past decades. Using a sample of Chinese firms from 2007 to 2018, we empirically explore the effect of corporate use of short-term debt for long-term investment (SFLI) on audit pricing. We first examine the relationship between SFLI and audit pricing for different groups of firms. Then, we investigate the role of the increase in short-term debt in alleviating principal-agent conflicts and reducing agency costs. We have four primary empirical findings. First, auditors tend to charge SFLI clients higher fees. Second, the negative relationship between SFLI and audit fee is found in private firms, firms audited by Chinese domestic auditors, and firms with higher information asymmetry. Third, the time auditors spent on SFLI clients is significantly more than that spent on non-SFLI clients, suggesting that the decrease in audit fee is not due to the decrease in cost. Fourth, SFLI significantly reduces the agency costs of the firm, which auditors regard as a low risk signal and grant an audit fee discount. Our findings suggest that the decrease in debt maturity, not only influences managerial behaviors, but also influences auditors’ risk assessment and pricing decisions.

        Purpose: Many studies show that promoting the development of trade facilitation has a positive role in stimulating the country's foreign trade. Therefore, it is of great practical significance to study the development level of trade facilitation for China's export trade. Research design, data and methodology:This study analyzes the growth trend of China's export trade volume in 2009-2019, the characteristics of China's export trade market according to the top 18 major exporting countries in 2017-2018, the structure of export commodities to understand China's economic development level, and compares the total amount of trade exported to all uses this to measure the level of trade development. On this basis, this paper selects the 2011-2018 Trade Facilitation Index and C continents to study the development trend. Based on the theory of trade facilitation, this paper constructs the Trade Facilitation Index, and hina's export trade volume for empirical research. Results: The results show that trade facilitation has a positive and significant impact on the development of China's export trade. Conclusions: Based on the analysis of the actual situations and empirical results, this paper puts forward some suggestions to promote the level of trade facilitation in order to promote the development of import and export trade.

        Purpose: As one of the most developed cities in China, the application of e-commerce is more mature, especially the promotion of ecommerce to foreign trade. After the establishment of Shanghai Free Trade Zone (FTZ) in 2013, the government issued a series of policies to promote the application of e-commerce in Shanghai's foreign trade. This paper takes Shanghai FTZ as an example to study how to develop the application of e-commerce in other free trade zones and how to innovate the international trade mode. Research design, data and methodology: This paper selects the latest data from 2010 to 2019, uses econometric correlation analysis and regression analysis to study the impact of e-commerce on the foreign trade of Shanghai FTZ. Results: At last, the conclusion is drawn that the establishment of free trade zone provides many advantages for the development of e-commerce in Shanghai, and the growth of e-commerce in Shanghai FTZ promotes the development of foreign trade of Shanghai FTZ. Conclusions: So as to promote the development of e-commerce in Shanghai Free Trade Zone, some suggestions are put forward, such as increasing network supervision, establishing e-commerce talent training system, logistics management and information management systematization.

        캠퍼스의 안내시스템은 대학교 브랜드이미지의 얼굴이며 중요한 구성부분이며 학교문화의 척도이다. 현재의 H대학 안내 시스템의 현장 조사를 통해 기능 및 서비스, 규범 및 체계성, 지역 및 인본주의 그리고 국제 표준 및 비전에 대한 결함을 발견되었으며, 이 대학의 문화적 특징이 분석되었다. 본 연구는 서비스디자인방법론의 일부를 중심으로 대학 캠퍼스 사인 시스템에 대한 사용자의 기능적 요구 사항을 분석하고 대학 식별 시스템, 공간지도 시스템, 도로 표지판 시스템, 빌딩 시스템의 내부 및 외부 표지판 및 관리 시스템의 5 가지 측면에서 대학의 문화 및 서비스 정보를 구축한다. 대학의 문화적 특성을 강조하고 고품질의 편리한 정보 서비스를 제공하며 완벽한 시스템 기능을 갖춘 캠퍼스의 안내 시스템은 대학의 정신을 반영한다. 이에. 대학 내의 사용자를 위한 경로를 찾는 문제를 해결할 뿐만 아니라 대학의 문화적 특성을 통합하여 자체 문화 브랜드 이미지를 확립하고 문화 공간으로서 대학의 이미지 품질과 대학 브랜드의 경쟁력을 더욱 향상시킨다.

        대학생들은 편안한 집에서 여러 사람이 생활하는 기숙사로 이사를 하며, 개인의 생활 방식, 행동 습관 및 그들의 심리는 환경의 변화에 영향을 받을 것이다. 또한 기숙사 가구 사용은 학생 숙박 경험에 직접적인 영향을 미칠 것이다. 이에 본 연구는 하이난의 H 대학의 기숙사 가구를 대학생의 욕구를 충족시키기 위해, 숙소의 필수 요소와 라이프 스타일 및 행동 상태를 인간 중심의 관점에서 조사 분석하였다. 이에 이론적 연구 및 설계 실습을 통해 이 현재 가구의 유형을 정리하였다. 기숙사 가구의 현재 상태, 기능 요구 사항 및 결함에 따라 H 대학의 기숙사 가구 디자인 요소, 디자인 원칙 및 디자인 계획을 제안하였다. 본 연구를 통해 기숙사 가구는 그 구조와 기숙사를 이용하는 학생 및 게스트의 라이프 스타일과 행동 유형에 적지 않은 영향을 주었으며, 조사 및 분석을 중심으로 한 가구의 디자인이 필수적으로 나타났다. 또한 제안한 가구 디자인을 통한 결과물이 사용자의 니즈에 충분히 충족하는 결과가 도출되었다.

        Purpose: This research aims to investigate the impact of corporate integrity on stock price crash risk. Research design, data, and methodology: Taking 1419 firms listed in Shenzhen Stock Exchange in China as a sample, this paper empirically analyzed the relationship between corporate integrity and stock price crash risk. The main integrity data was hand-collected from Shenzhen Stock Exchange Website. Other financial data was collected from CSMAR Database. Results: Findings show that corporate integrity can significantly decrease stock price crash risk. After changing the selection of samples, model estimation methods and the proxy variable of stock price crash risk, the conclusion is still valid. Further research shows that the relationship between corporate integrity and stock price crash risk is only found in firms with weak internal control and firms in poor legal system areas. Conclusions: Results of the study suggest that corporate integrity has a significant influence on behaviors of managers. Business ethics reduces the likelihood of managers to overstate financial performance and hide bad news, which leads to the low likelihood of future stock price crashes. Meanwhile, corporate integrity can supplement internal control and legal system in decreasing stock price crash risks.

        International trade settlement is the foreign exchange collection and payment business between importers and exporters of two different countries or regions due to the trade of goods through banks or other financial institutions, in order to settle the creditor-debt relationship between two parties. Along with the rapid advancement of economic globalization, coupled with the rapid development of information technology, trade relations among countries or regions have become increasingly close. More enterprises are engaged in import and export trade. The scope of international trade settlement is also expanding. The payment method based on commercial credit— telegraphic transfer (T/T) is one of the main methods of international settlement. Due to its advantages such as fast speed, simple procedure and low cost, it is more and more widely used in business. However, due to the nature and characteristics of telegraphic transfer, exporters have certain risks in using this settlement method, especially T/T on delivery. It is important for foreign trade enterprises to study how to avoid risks. Through the analysis of a case between Chinese Company A and Pakistani importers, this paper summarizes the risk prevention measures employed by exporters when they use T/T on delivery.

        Purpose - With the economic development in China, the lifestyle of Chinese customers has changed dramatically. Chinese customers are more likely to have coffee in a shop with the ability to make them happy than those with high quality coffee in a nice physical environment. Happiness becomes a critical driver of customers’ intention to purchase a cup of coffee in a specific coffee shop again and again. As a result, happiness becomes an important factor for managers to make strategies for attracting customers. Although managers and scholars pay more attention to emphasize the importance of happiness in customers’ consumption, little research has been conducted to investigate the relationship between happiness and coffee shop’s continuous usage intention in the Chinese coffee industry. Research design, data, and methodology – A research model is made to explain the impact of happiness on customer’s behavior. To understand the influence of happiness better, we consider two dimensions of happiness which are subjective well-being and psychological well-being. In order to confirm the relationships of the variables in the research model, the online survey is constructed in China. Customers who have experienced the services in a coffee shop are asked to do the questionnaire. With 453 reliable questionnaires, structural equation modeling is used to analyze the causal relationships of the coffee quality, physical environment, subjective well-being, psychological well-being, and continuous usage intention. Results - Results indicate that coffee quality and physical environment are not the direct factors that influence customers’ continuous usage intention. However, good coffee quality and physical environment are the significant predictors of Chinese customers’ happiness associated with subjective well-being and psychological well-being, which in turn affects customers’ continuous usage intention. Conclusions - In this study, it is proposed that coffee quality and physical environment may be the key factors influencing customers’ happiness. Happiness, including subjective well-being and psychological well-being matters in decision making process. More importantly, happiness increases the continuous usage intention when the coffee shop can serve customers with higher quality coffee at a good atmospheric place. Managers should consider happiness as an important factor in making marketing strategies to compete in this industry.

        Purpose - The purpose of this paper is to investigate the determinants of corporate anti-corruption practice disclosure (ACPD) from the perspective of rent-seeking theory. Research design, data, and methodology - Data are hand-collected from corporate social responsibility reports (CSRR) issued by 724 A-share listed firms in China. This paper provides an empirical analysis of the relationship between ownership structure and corporate ACPD as well as its moderating role in the institutional environment. Results - Our findings indicate that rent-seeking is a key factor in influencing corporate ACPD. State-owned enterprises disclose significantly more anti-corruption information than private ones in order to achieve personal promotion of top executives. Monopoly enterprises reported significantly less anti-corruption information than enterprises in competitive industries due to their rent-seeking behavior. The reduction of government intervention and improvement of legal environment are helpful to curb corporate rent-seeking activities and enhance the level of corporate ACPD. Conclusions - Rent-seeking is an important factor in explaining corporate voluntary disclosure in emerging countries. Institutional environment also plays a moderating role in the relationship between ownership structure and corporate voluntary disclosure. Our results are of interest to policy makers, regulators and market participants that are interested in corporate voluntary disclosure and corruption prevention.

        Tourism catering water footprint is an important part of the tourism water footprint. The paper takes 17 cities in Shandong Province as the research object, draws on the relevant literature research results, combines the actual situation of tourism catering industry development in Shandong Province, establishes the water footprint measurement model of tourism catering industry in Shandong Province, and evaluates the tourism catering water footprint in Shandong Province. The results show that there is a large regional difference in the total amount of tourism catering water footprints in Shandong Province. The water consumption level of tourism catering industry in Shandong Province is decreasing year by year, and the utilization efficiency of tourism catering water resources is increasing year by year. The water consumption level of the tourism and catering industry in Shandong Province is generally high in the east, the second in the middle, and the low in the west.

        The purpose of this paper is to examine the relationship between the nature of controlling shareholders and corporate anti-corruption practice disclosure (ACPD) as well as the mediating role of political background of the chairman or CEO of the firm on the relationship between the two. The content analysis was conducted to extract ACPD from standalone corporate social responsibility reports (CSRR) of 703 China’s A-share listed companies. A dummy variable was constructed according to whether a firm disclosed ACPD or not. Logistic regression analysis was used then. Results show that the nature of controlling shareholders has a significant impact on corporate ACPD, with central enterprises disclosing the most frequently, local state-owned enterprises the second and private enterprises the least. Political background of the chairman or CEO has a negative impact on corporate ACPD of state-owned enterprises. These findings have some useful insights in understanding the rent-seeking behavior and information disclosure behavior of corporates in emerging markets. In order to curb the serious corruption problem which is commonplace in developing countries like China, the government should exert certain pressure to strengthen the supervision of information disclosure of listed firms and improve information transparency.
