This study was performed to determine the total anthocyanin contents, DPPH radical scavenging activity, and SODlike activity of extracted anthocyanins from Bokbunja for analyzing the optimal conditions of enzyme treatment by response surface methodology (RSM) based on three factors: concentration of Pectinex Ultra SP-L, reaction temperature, and reaction time. The optimal enzyme treatment conditions of Pectinex Ultra SP-L concentration, reaction temperature, reaction time, and overall desirability by analysis of multiple response surface methodology with the same weighed value of each dependent variable were 0.5 mL/100 L, 20oC, 2 hr, and 0.63, respectively. Total anthocyanin content, DPPH radical scavenging activity, and SOD-like activity of the conditions stated above were 5.2 mg/ 100 g, 61.3% and 30.5%, respectively. Meanwhile, those of the control were 1.1 mg/100 g, 11.8% and 1.1%, respectively.method.

This study proposes a guideline of a green roof system suitable for the local environment by verifying the growth of Zoysia japonica in a shallow, extensive, green roof system under rainfed condition. The experimental soil substrates into which excellent drought tolerance and creeping Z. japonica was planted were made with different soil thicknesses(15cm, 25cm) and soil mixing ratios(SL, P7P1L2, P6P2L2, P5P3L2, P4P4L2). The plant height, green coverage ratio, fresh weight, dry weight and chlorophyll contents of Z. japonica were investigated. For the soil thickness of 15cm, the plant height of Z. japonica was significantly as affected by the soil mixing ratio and it was shown in the order SL= P4P4L2 < P7P1L2 = P5P3L2 < P6P2L2. For the soil thickness of 25cm, the plant height was increased in order to SL < P7P1L2, P6P2L2, P5P3L2 < P4P4L2. The green coverage ratio was not observed by soil the mixing ratio or soil thickness. However, the green coverage ratio was 86∼90% with a good coverage rate overall. The chlorophyll contents of Z. japonica were not significantly affected by the soil mixing ratio in the soil thickness of 15cm, but were higher in the natural soil than in the artificial soil at 25cm soil thickness. The fresh weight and dry weight of Zoysia japonica were heavier in the 25cm thickness than in the 15cm thickness and in the artificial soil mixture than in the natural soil. The result indicated that the growth of Zoysia japonica was more effective in the 25cm soil thickness with artificial soil than in the 15cm soil thickness with natural soil in the green roof system under rainfed condition.

The aim of the paper is to solve the problem of customer reduction due to the difficulty of parts sourcing which impacts production delay and delivery delay in SC networks. Furthermore, this paper is to suggest the new inventory policy of MTS in order to solve the problem of current inventory policy. In order to compare two policies, a LCD maker is selected as a case study and the real data for 2007 years is used for simulation input. The maker uses MTO policy for parts sourcing which has the problem of lead time even if it has some advantage of inventory cost. Based on current process. The simulation program of AS-IS model and TO-BE model using ARENA 10 version is developed for evaluation. In a result, the order number of two policies shows that MTO is 52 and MTS is 53. However the quantity of order shows big difference such that MTO is 168,460 and MTS is 225,106. Particularly, the lead time of new inventory policy shows much shorter that that of MTO such that MTO 100 is days and MTS is 16 days. In spite of short lead time by MTS policy, new policy has to take burden of inventory cost per year. Total inventory cost per year by MTS policy is US 11,254 and each part inventory cost is that POL is US 1,807, LDI is US 2,166 and Panel is US 7,281. The implication of the research is that the company has to consider the cost and the service simultaneously in deciding the inventory policy. In the paper, even if the optimal point of deciding is put into tactical area, the ground of decision is suggested in order to improve the problem in SC networks.

For the assesment of pollutant loads, a monitoring has been conducted to identify hydrologic conditions and water quality of the Oenam watershed in Juam Lake, and the SWAT model integrated with GIS was applied to the watershed and evaluated for its applicability through calibration and verification using observed data. For the model application, digital maps were constructed for watershed boundary, land-use, soil series, digital elevation, and topographic input data of the Oenam watershed using Arcview. The observed runoff was 832.8 mm while the simulated runoff was 842.8 mm in 2003. The model results showed that the simulated runoff was in a good agreement with the observed data and indicated reasonable applicability of the model. In terms of nutrient load, the simulation results of T-N, T-P showed a similar trend to observed values. The observed T-N load was 10.8 kg/ha and the simulated T-N load was 7.6 kg/ha while the observed T-P load was 0.21 kg/ha and the simulated T-P load was 0.18 kg/ha. In general, SWAT model predicted observed runoff and loads of T-N and T-P after calibration with observed data in acceptable range. Overall, SWAT model was satisfactory in estimation of nutrient pollutant loads of the rural watershed.
