The purpose of this study is to examine the feeding and nutritional status of enteral tube-fed elderly patients. Subjects included 77 elderly hospitalized patients who had received enteral nutrition more than one week before admission. Medical records on admission and actual feeding volume were used to assess anthropometric, biochemical, and nutritional status. Most patients manifested disorders of the nervous system (93.5%) and the average duration of tube feeding was 13.9 months. The average feeding volume of formula was 1,107 mL per day and the mean ratios of calorie and protein (supplied vs. required) were 81.7% and 80.9%, respectively. At admission, 57.4% of the patients were malnourished according to the institutional criteria. Patients receiving less than 80% of the required calories were in worse nutritional status compared with those receiving more than 80% of the required calories. Body mass index, percent ideal body weight, serum albumin level and blood lipid levels (total cholesterol, HDL-cholesterol, triglyceride) were significantly lower in patients receiving less than 80% of the required calories. These results indicate the high prevalence of malnutrition and the need for increased attention and nutritional care of elderly patients undergoing long-term enteral nutrition.

본 연구에서는 2005년부터 2009년까지 전라남도 지역의 기상변화와 산불특성과의 관련성을 파악하기 위해 기상요소와 산불 발생자료 (시간, 원인)를 분석한 결과, 최고온도 상승과 상대습도 감소로 인해 산 불발생의 위험성이 높은 기후조건이 형성되었으며, 산불은 최고기온 10∼20℃에서, 상대습도 40∼60% 에서, 평균풍속 2 m/s이하에서 주로 발생하였다. 이러한 기상조건은 강우 후에 2∼3일이면 산불발생 위 험이 높은 기상조건이 형성되었다.

본 연구는 생태관광 개발과 지속적인 발전에 있어 가장 중요한 요소 중의 하나인 주민참여 부분에 대한 연구로서 지역 생태관광 개발에 있어 우선 고려되어야 할 주민참여 방법과 선행 해결과제들을 조사 분석하였다. 조사는 국내 산촌지역으로 자연환경이 우수하고 접근성이 좋아 개발가능성이 높은 지역을 선정하여 현지 방문조사를 실시하였다. 장기 부재중인 주민을 제외하고 각 지역에 거주하고 있는 190명의 주민을 대상으로 조사 분석한 결과 지역주민들은 생태관광 개발에 대해 긍정적이며, 관광개발계획 수립단계부터 적극적인 참여를 원했다. 또한 생태관광 개발에 있어 가장 중요한 것은 자연환경보전을 전제로 한 지역경제 및 개인소득의 증대로서 이를 위해서는 가장 먼저 관련 법 제도적 정비와 함께 지역주민에 대한 교육이 선행되어야 한다고 나타났다.

This study aimed to analyze the selection criteria and priority settings for solid culture medium used in hydroponic crop production in farm households. Expert brain storming was carried out to extract solid culture medium selection criteria for hydroponic farming. As a result, 3 criteria of economy (cost), productivity, and environment, and 9 factors were extracted. A questionnaire survey of hydroponic farm households was conducted in Gyeonggi, Gangwon, and Chooncheong provinces. AHP analysis of the hydroponic solid culture medium selection criteria identified productivity as the most important criterion, chosen by 58.7% of the respondents, followed by economy (28.4%) and environment (12.9%). The 9 factors were rated by the respondents in the following decreasing order of importance: 1, crop yield (28.3%); 2, pest occurrence (18.5%); 3, maintenance/management costs (12.0%); 4, convenience of maintenance/management (13.4%); 5, initial investment cost (11.6%); 6, material energy consumption (6.5%); 7, waste recyclability (4.0%); 8, waste disposal costs (3.4%); and 9 environmental emissions (1.81%). These results imply that hydroponic farm households consider cultivationrelated quality factors more important than economic factors, such as price of culture medium or installation cost.
