It is worth studying the Saemaul Development Undong as a science when it is increasingly gaining a global society interest. The purposes of this research are to frame the project design matrix(PDM) for the Saemaul development project and to suggest underpinning theoretical background which explains the causal relationship of the logical frame approach of the PDM. This research diagramed the driving process of Saemaul projects which indicates the stages of hierarchical logic structures in terms of inputs-activities-outputs-outcomes and goal of the projects. Then it presented governance theory, bottom-up approach, endogenous development and network theory as theoretical backgrounds of the logic model of Saemaul projects. Expected effects of this research suggest that it will be a basic study to give a standardized criteria to evaluate Saemaul and ODA projects to raise the effectiveness of ODA projects, even though it needs more studies to secure the validity of the PDM and to get a generalization of the theory.
본 연구는 많은 개도국에서 농촌발전과 빈곤퇴치의 유용한 방안으로 새마을운동의 경험 전수를 요청받고 있는 상황에서 새마을운동이 “인류 공동의 번영에 이바지 할 수 있는 새로운 농촌개발 패러다임”으로 자리매김 하는데 기여하고자 출발하였다. 이를 위해서, 본 연구는 새마을운동의 기본개념과 특성을 재조명하고 이러한 특성을 합리적, 논리적으로 설명할 수 있는 이론을 제시하고 글로벌 새마을운동의 기획 및 집행에 적용할 수 있는 이론적 틀을 제시하는 목적이 있다. 본 연구의 내용은 살펴보면 새마을운동의 보편성과 차별성을 지역사회개발과 정책적 관 점에서 살펴보고 새마을운동의 논리구조를 만들어 차별성을 제시하였다. 중국의 대약진운동, 방글라데시 코밀라운동과 새마을운동의 비교를 통해서 그 시사점을 제시하고 있다. 끝으로 글로벌 새마을운동을 기획하고 집행함에 있어 중요하게 고려해야 할 이론적 시사점으로서 상향식 사업추진, 변화의 대리인으로서 새마을지도자 양성, 주민의 역량개발 강화, 맞춤형 새마을 ODA 사업 발굴, 선도기관(pilot agency)과의 파트너십 구축 등을 제시하였다.
 ,  , Wood products are sometimes infested with cossonid weevils. A cossonid weevil, Hexarthrum brevicome Wollaston has been found on wood boards used for printing books in the Jeonju Confucian temple and school (2004), a wood cabinet in the Museum of Milyang (2007), a wood wardrobe in the Museum of Seoul (2008) and on wood boards used for printing Buddhist scriptures in the temple of Suncheon (2008). Wood utensils for living in the Museum of Seoul were found to be infested with another cossonid weevil, Rhyncolus sculpturatus (Walt!) in 2008. To protect the cultural property from insect pests in the field of conservation science, more comprehensive insect pest management (IPM) programs are required.
A field experiment was conducted to study both the distribution characteristics of photosynthetically active radiation (PAR) in the soybean canopy and their relationships with dry matter production. The soybean cultivars 'Hwanggeumkong' and 'Paldalkong' were sown with the spaces of 60~times 15cm and 30~times 15cm at Suwon on May 20 and on June 20 in 1989. The ratio of PAR to the total shortwave radiation was estimated by the empirical equation derived from sunshine hours and direct incoming radiation. The functional relationships between the PAR interception and the leaf area index were expressed as a function of Beer's law. The extinction coefficients(k) in the functions ranged from 0.77 to 0.92. The values of k were greater at higher planting density, but they were affected neither by planting dates nor by varieties. The reflection ratio of PAR(α ) was determined by the exponential function as below; α =α p-(α p-α o) exp(-kㆍLAI) where α p was the reflectance at the maximum LAI and α o was that of the bare soil. The ap ranged from 0.025 to 0.035 and α o ranged from 0.11 to 0.12, respectively. The reflected PAR ranged from 0.049 to 0.064 and the transmitted PAR ranged from 0.168 to 0.340 until maximum dry weights were observed. The slope from the linear regression of dry matter on absorbed PAR, conversion efficiency, ranged from 1.30 to 2.3g MJ-1 during the growing season until maximum dry weight was reached. The total dry matter yield above ground (TDM) increased with the increases in the conversion efficiency. TDM was higher in Hwanggeumkong than Paldalkong and higher in the space of 30~times 15cm than 60~times 15cm, Paldalkong showed higher harvest index than Hwanggeumkong. than Hwanggeumkong.
