        강판콘크리트구조 설계기준(KEPIC SNG)에서 RC-SC구조 이종부재 접합방식은 기계적이음방법인 베이스플레이트형 접합 방식과 미겹침이음 접합방식을 제시하고 있다. RC구조간의 동일부재 접합부는 설계기준에서 철근의 직경에 따라 이음방식 을 별도로 규정하고 있지만, RC-SC구조 접합부는 철근의 직경에 따른 접합방식이 설계기준에 별도 구분되어 있지 않기 때문에 대구경 철근에 대해서도 미겹침이음 접합방식을 적용할 수 있을 것으로 예상된다. 베이스플레이트형 접합방식의 경우, RC-SC접합부 구조가 복잡하여 향후 적용성 측면에서 불리할 것으로 예상된다. 그러나, 미겹침이음 접합방식은 구조가 단순하여 적용성 측면에서 유리할 것으로 판단되나, 추가 실증실험과 전산해석을 통해 적용성 확보가 필요한 상황이다. 본 연구에서는 미겹침이음 접합방식의 주요 설계변수인 타이바와 철근정착의 구조거동을 분석하였으며, 철근의 정착성능을 강화할 수 있는 방안을 도출 및 적용하여 구조거동분석을 수행하였다.

        In this study, we proposed a modified design equation for SC walls subjected to local impact load based on a series of experimental studies on the impact resistance of SC walls. Then, the results of the modified design equation was evaluated and verified based on the extensive experimental test data as well as numerical parametric analysis data. Finally we confirmed that the modified design equation provided reasonable results.

        When the SC structure is partially applied to a nuclear power plant building, an RC-SC connection part is generated between the SC wall and the RC slabs or RC walls. When the RC-SC connection part is generated, the compressive failure of the concrete near RC-SC connection part may occur if the difference in flexural stiffness between the RC part and the RC-SC connection part is large. Also, from the viewpoint of constructability, it is expected that a anchoring system which fixes the SC wall is required if the SC wall is raised above the RC wall. In this study, construction method with connection improvement is proposed to solve the problems expected from the structural and construction aspects.

        In this study, we performed a series of experimental studies on the effect of tie-bars and steel-plate strength on the impact resistance of SC walls. A total of 8 impact tests were planned to investigate the impact resistance performance of SC walls at the extreme performance testing center of Seoul National University in Korea. The specimens were designed with the main test parameters of yield strength of steel plate and tie-bars. The results from this study will be used to improve and optimize the AISC N690 design equation for SC walls.

        In the KEPIC-SNG, the domestic technical standard of the SC structure, the condition that the baseplate supporting the reinforcing bars is not bonded to the surface plate is suggested. However, if the baseplate is bonded only to the wingplate, all of the rebar loads generated on the baseplate will be transferred to the wingplate. The wingplate is expected to be conservatively designed in spacing and thickness to support the rebar load. In this study, the finite element analysis was carried out according to bonding conditions between surface plate and baseplate. As a result, it was confirmed that the overall structural strength was increased when the baseplate and the surface plate were bonded. Based on this result, it is possible to propose an economical design for the RC-SC connection such as increasing the wingplate spacing.

        This study is a basic research with the aim of developing the method of judging the leakage zone by grasping the habitat characteristic of agricultural reservoir slope in inhabiting characteristics appear differently according to natural inhabiting environment. To this end, this study is intending to investigate slope vegetation using a quadrat technique at Sinheung reservoir located at Gwangsi-myeon, Yesan-gun, Chungnam, and to perform the analysis of importance value using relative frequency and relative coverage, etc. Also, this study intended to present the necessity of having to consider the eco-system of the relevant region in time of a reservoir slope afforestation for the time to come by suggesting that the reservoir slope vegetation after a stable period becomes similar to the regional vegetation by comparing this study result with the existing research which carried out the analysis of importance value of forest vegetation for Yesan Region. The reservoir slope vegetation is similar to the indicator species which appear in the regional forest vegetation, so there was a need to select afforestation species in the light of this in time of slope afforestation. As a result of the analysis of the importance value, this study grasped that there was an emergence characteristic similar to the vegetation at a birthplace of a forest fires because growth and development of forest trees, and perennial plants were restricted by annually implemented brush-cutting work, etc.; however, indigo plant and bush clover , etc. were found to show the characteristic differing from this. Consequently, this study was able to confirm that there is the necessity of having to create the Importance Value Table suited for reservoir slopes by region through a lot more data construction in the near future.

        In this study, the specific 3-dimensional plant model is developed to check the physical interference of structures and components which cross each other, and to reduce the interference errors occurred between interconnecting parts. Based on 3D model, the construction schedule is reviewed by 4D simulation to avoid construction activity overlapping. Also, the layout simulation of a large capacity crane is implemented to relieve interference on the run-time of a large capacity crane.

        Based on the fabrication experiences of modulization in the global country, tolerance guide of SC module was issued in the their Design Code. In case of KEPIC Code 2015, we have the same level of tolerance guide with other countries. But we need more specific technology and accuracy control system.

        The new technologies such as modularization are developed to secure competition against oversea NPP for APR+ Plant. To reduce the construction period, the SC structure and Half-SC structure modules were respectively applied to exterior wall and slab of the APR+ IRWST. In this paper, partitioning Methods of IRWST module, constructability and construction schedules were analyzed. Consequently, it is concluded that the construction period can be reduced by applying IRWST modules to NPP Construction.

        Difference of two standards, AISC N690 and KEPIC SNG, for the in-plane shear strength was experimentally investigated. In AISC N690, unlike KEPIC SNG, the tie system should be applied to the entire surface of the faceplate. However, using many tie systems is impractical and ineffective due to technical challenges such as difficulty of welding and maintenance. Thus, reducing the number of tie systems is needed, by replacing them with studs. In this study, we experimentally investigated distribution effect of in-plane shear strength connector such as stud and tie bar.

        In this study, the investigation of the local damage evaluation method for the SC structure subjected to impact load was carried out. The conventional RC formula and SC formula to calculate wall thickness to prevent perforation were studied and compared. Finally, these results were compared with finite element analysis results using LS-Dyna, and the future direction to develop the reasonable local damage evaluation method of the NPP SC structure was suggested.

        In this paper, the improvement methods of working platforms arrangement for NPP(Nuclear Power Plant) construction has been reviewed to enhance the construction accessibility. The working platforms will be enlarged and added because of accessibility of the hi-capacity crane for installation of the SC module and the combined module. The vertical elevator and the working tower have been also proposed to increase construction accessibility. It is concluded that the improvement of constructability is possible based on the consultation of construction company.

        In this study, an experimental study to investigate the load transfer behavior of the CFT column to steel beam connection was carried out. The load transfer mechanism and the effect of the load transfer length were examined, and the results were also compared with finite element analysis results. Finally, the results are to be used for the basic reference of the design guideline for the CFT column connection.

        The rebar module in the common basemat of the reactor containment building has developed to reduce the construction period. In this paper, three stages of concrete pouring were reviewed for the possible application of the rebar module. The lifting frame design was done to lift the rebar module and the construction simulation was done to check the interface in the construction process.

        Construction period is one of the most important factors which influence on cost and quality in nuclear power plant construction. As part of continued efforts for the competent reactor type, the construction improvements such as application of mechanical rebar splice, optimum lift height for concrete placement and enlargement of liner plate module in the reactor building wall are developed to minimize the construction period. This study referred to knowledge and experiences from APR+(Advanced Power Reactor Plus) technical development. The proposed method can be applied to the APR+ in the near future.

        The objective of this study is to assess the structural response and impact energy absorption characteristics of reinforced concrete (RC) and steel plate concrete (SC) barrier walls under missile impact loading considered in the design of NPP (nuclear power plant)'s facilities. The study considered the barrier wall response under external tornado-generated missiles (e.g., steel pipe and automobiles).
