        This study investigates the impact of International Monetary Fund(IMF) Age on the household behavior of food consumption and analysis the related factors(demographic variables, family life style) to find out the reasonable consumer's consciousness and food market conditions. The results are as follows. 1. General life style and food life style, considered as family life style, were classified into 7 types and 9 types respectively as family life style by factor analysis. 2. The rationality of using and disposing stage on food life has increased, the rationality of the planning stage on food life has decreased since the IMF age began. But the rationality of overall food consumption has hardly changed. 3. The amount of purchasing was decreased, discount store was favorite place to buy food, and safety and freshness were major determinants in purchasing for most of food items. But this was different with food items. The various information sources were used impartially to buy food, cash was used mainly, and the degree of using the discount ticket/coupon was a little low. 4. Income level is an influential factor on the rationality of the planning and purchasing stage on food life, while environment-oriented food life style has influenced on the rationality of using and disposing stage. The purchasing amount of grain products, meats, milk products, bread and snacks, drinks, alcoholic drinks, water and convenience goods has influenced by demographic variables, eating out had been influenced by general life styles, and fruits, healthy foods, processed foodstuffs, favorite foods, vegetables seaweeds, import foods and seafood had been mainly influenced by food life style since IMF age began.

        The purpose of this study was to investigate housewives' perception, interest and consumption of organic food, and to identify the variables influencing on them. The sample was selected from 411 housewives living in Seoul from 1st of September to 20th of September in 1993. Used statistical methods were frequency, percentage, mean, Cronbach's α, factor analys, ANOVA, Duncan's multiple range test, t-test, correlation, regression analysis and Path analysis. The major results are as follows: 1) Housewives' perception degree of organic food in its variety, easy availability and contribution to health was relatively high level, but price level, reliability and packing condition was somewhat low level. Out of housewives' many images of organic food, taste health care, quality and necessity factors can be implicated. 2) Housewives' interest degree of organic food is somewhat high level 3) Housewives' consumption degree of organic food was relatively low level and was affected by their perception of oraganic food. 4) Frequency to use seasonings was the major independent variable which influenced to housewives' perception degree of organic food, while recognition on enviornmental contamination was the major independent variable which influenced to their interest degree of organic food, and their total perception on organic food was the major independent variable which influenced to their consumption degree of oragnic food. Therefore, it is considered that their total perception to it can decide the demand of organic food 5) Housewives' perception and interest degree of it was the major intervening variable which influenced to their consumption degree of oragnic food.

        Coldwell alkaline complex adjacent to the north of Lake Superior in Ontario, Canada is an isolated plutonic body composed chiefly of syenite and gabbros and Archean metamorphic rocks intruded by above mentioned igneous rocks. A pegmatite swarm is developed in olivine gabbro, a member of the complex. Zonal distribution is found in most of pegmatites and is composed of three zones, that is, leucocratic fine-grained zone of anorthosite, melanocratic fine-grained zone of gabbronorite and pyroxenite and coarse-grained zone of gabbronorite. The mean grain size of the rock forming minerals in fine-grained zone is 0.27㎜ and that of coarse-grained zone 10.4㎜. An content of most plagioclases is in the range from An50 to An70 indicating that the pegmatite is mafic pegmatite. In a grain of plagioclase, An content decreases gradually from core to margin. Paragenetic sequence of main minerals in pegmatite is plagioclase, olivine, pyroxene, hornblende, biotite and opaque mineral from the earlier stage. Mineralogy in pegmatite is similar to that of the country rock, so it can be classified as simple and pure pegmatite. Fine-grained zone might be formed by rapid crystallization with high viscosity caused by rapid reduction in P_(H₂O) when coexisting vapor phase is suddenly released and raising the sotidus and liquidus temperatures abruptly. Coarse-grained zone is probably formed by high diffusion rate and low viscosity caused by depolymerization, formation of aqueous phase and decrease of solidus temperature. The rate of increase in viscosity caused by cooling of magma from the magmatic stage and high content of SiO₂ is ignorable compared with the rate of decrease in viscosity caused by concentration of water.
