The ecosystem is composed of various elements and maintains the function of the system. The characteristics of each ecosystem type affect the culture of the area, so it is necessary to consider ecocultural characteristics when establishing the policy. This study was conducted to evaluate the value based on the distribution information of eco - cultural resources and to find out how to use it in establishing related policies. The target sites were Gyeongsangbuk - do province, and were evaluated using 7 items of natural ecological characteristics and socio - cultural characteristics. The information used in the evaluation was 13 spatial information such as forest map, ecological and natural map, natural park distribution map, and it was ranked according to the utilization of policies such as tourism resource management and administration, and evaluated by the minimum indicator method. As a result of the evaluation, 336 excellent areas were selected. In the selected area, 6 kinds of endangered species from 1,914 observation, and cultural resources were distributed from 194 sites. Since ecological resources and cultural resources are applied to the same evaluation method and expressed in a single scale, it is considered to be easy to use in administrative plans and policies. Further studies such as comparison of evaluation models and subdivision of grades are necessary.

본 연구는 2011년에 수행된 충청남도 보령시 도시생태현황지도(biotopemap)에서 도출된 정보를 활용하여 야생동물 조사지점을 선정하는 단계에서 활용하기 위한 목적으로 수행되었다. 연구에 활용된 정보는 야생동물 전문가의 지식과 경험으로부터 도출되었으며 6가지 환경변수(Outside distance from food vegetation, Outside distance from farm land, Outside distance from forest, Human density, Outside distance from road, Outside distance from water)로 구현되었다. 6개의 환경변수는 도면중첩방법으로 모형화 되었으며 모형은 출현정보와 비교한 결과 94.72%의 상관관계를 도출할 수 있었다. 출현이 많을 것으로 예측된 지역은 농촌지역 산림 계곡부 였으며 조사범위의 한계(면적, 일정, 예산)속에서 양질의 야생동물 조사결과를 도출하기 위해 활용될 수 있다. 하지만 산림내부가 제외되어있는 점, 모든종이 같은 서식지를 선호하지 않는 다는 점 등의 한계점을 갖고 있었으며 추후 이 부문에 대한 후속연구들이 필요하다.

After the Industrial Revolution, Rapid urbanization enhanced the inner city inhabitants quality of life in sociel, cultured, and economical side. However, due to global warming environmented side has not improved. Rather, ecological environment got worse. This study is to improve to quality of life of the people in the densely built-up inner city area by analizing ecological preservation land suitability. Ecological preservation land suitability analysis has been developed by Ian McHarg through Map overlay method and it has evolaed into GIS(Geographic information system). GIS used in distributed model, evaluating model , and in Korea , land suitability assessment and envi개 ment assessment. The concept, Finding to the utilize the land by analyzing the land’s ecological specificity starts with the basic concept that human and environment can coexist.
