The rsearch was an establishment of the important green spaces in Jeonju and to present the basic frame of green network. The relationship which leads to the green spaces and traditional cultual district needs the connetion of green corridor. The ecological view is used as the space for the passeuggest a connection on the base of the important green network between the green spaces and buildings as well as streets. Consequently, a creation plans of green spaces are demanded green corridor for the basic frame of green network in the tradional cultural district in Jeonju.

The purpose of this study is to analyze urban residents' preference on rural tourism. The data was collected from 225 urban residents in Jeonju and Iksan city. The results show that 13.8% of urban resident have experienced rural tourism. Even though urban residents are low experienced of rural tourism, people who intend to experience rural tourism. They are willing to pay about 29,700won for lodging 77,401won for food , 43,900won for agri-products and 18,100won for experiencing program. These results indicate that there is a lot of potential demand for rural tourism. These results that there is a lot of potential demand for rural tourism

After the Industrial Revolution, Rapid urbanization enhanced the inner city inhabitants quality of life in sociel, cultured, and economical side. However, due to global warming environmented side has not improved. Rather, ecological environment got worse. This study is to improve to quality of life of the people in the densely built-up inner city area by analizing ecological preservation land suitability. Ecological preservation land suitability analysis has been developed by Ian McHarg through Map overlay method and it has evolaed into GIS(Geographic information system). GIS used in distributed model, evaluating model , and in Korea , land suitability assessment and envi개 ment assessment. The concept, Finding to the utilize the land by analyzing the land’s ecological specificity starts with the basic concept that human and environment can coexist.

This study aimed to let people recognize lecture halls and to investigate the short history of Go un Choi Chi -won, an object of enshrinement , to examine the location environments, establishment background and meaning of Jacheondae, Oksan Lecture Hall , Munchang Lecture Hall and Yeomui Lecture Hall located in Gunsan area in Jeollabuk-do. The results concerning the facilities of the said historic sites and the arrangement of trees could be summarized as below. 1. Goun was a person from Silla and studied in Tang Dynasty when he was 12 (in 868) and passed the state examination in 6 years when he was 18 and became a Jinsa (進士) so that people were very surprised at his smartness. At the age of 20, he became a Yunam Jeoldosa (桂南 節度使: military officer) in China and commander in chief of eastem section and was in charge of documentation duties. At that time, the insurgent Hwangso rebelled against the country and Goun became famous for putting down the rebel as a Dochonggyeonggwan (都統警官) . 2. Among 12 remains related to Goun distributed in Jeollabuk-do , 1 pavilion and 3 lecture halls including Jacheondae, Oksan Lecture Hall , Munchang Lecture Hall and Yeomui Lecture Hall in Gunsan’s Okgu area and Jacheondae and Munchang Le cture Hall have been located in Okgu Hyanggyo and Oksan Lecture Hall has been on the right side of Okgu Hyanggyo flanked by a wall. Amogn them, Jacheondae was the place where Choi Chi-won read books when he followed his father who was appointed in Naecho-do as a military officer of Silla during his childhood. Meanwhile, Munchang Lecture Hall, Oksan Lecture Hall and Yeomui Lecture Hall were f ounded by regional Confucian scholars in the reign of Sukjong in Joseon Dynasty (in the heyday of Confucianism) to follow the thought of loyalty and filial piety and lofty knowledge of Choi Chi -won. There many regional competent scholars have been brought up and they have played a large role in doing religious services for ancient sages and in maintaining the Confucian community order. 3. Jacheondae in Okgu-eup was actually located on a hill at Seonyeon-ri and three lecture halls were situated in the flat village with low mountains and they were surrounded by private houses. In terrns of buildings and main planting species, in Munchang Lecture Hall , inner Samun and shrines were arranged in a row. Meanwhile, inner Samun, outer Samun and space for religious services were arranged in a row and education space and managerial sector were in symmetrical form and the space for religious S8rvices was arranged in a rear(a form of building arrangement of Humyojeonhak ) in Oksan Lecture Hall and Yeomui Lecture Hall. In addition, crape myrtle was unique as a planting species and they were planted in symmetrical form in education space and space for religious services

The purpose of this study is to create the cultural landscape we can realize the flavor of our ancestors from, improving and maintainning the Museong Seoweon in chilbomyun, jeongup city. This plan containing the confliction between protection of cultural properties and developing the around area promotes synthetic maintenance which can let out their own characters and make them be in accord with environment. I hope that the Museong Seowon where people enshrine some of the greatest ancestors such as Choichiwon, who was the greatest scholar in shila dynasty a thousand years ago and Junggeukin, who is famous for sangchungok will be given a new look as a central and cultural facility which can succeed the tradition of Honam region.

The vascular plants of the studied area in this site was listed as 231 taxa; 68 families , 166 genera, 202 species, 26 varieties, 2 forms and 1 cultivar. Naturalized plants was listed as 22 taxa; 9 families , 17 genera , 20 species , 2 varieties and naturalization rate was 9.5% of all 231 taxa vasccular plants. The planted plant in this site were recorded 23 taxa (Ginkgo biloba,Cerdrus deodara, Chamaecyparis obtusa, Pseudosasa japonica, Salix preudolasiogyne, Magnolia denudata, Eucommia ulmoides,Hibiscus syriacu,etc.) and cultivated plants were recorded 26 taxa (Sorghum bicolor, Colocasia antiquorum var‘ esculenta, Spinada oleracea, Ridnus communis, Malva verticillata, Solanum tuberosum, Cucumis sativus, Chrysanthemum coronarium ver. spatiosun. The plants community of this site were classified to 6 communities, they were Pinus densif]ora community. Castanea crenata community. Robinia pseudoacada community. Phyllostachys bambusoides community. Pinus rigida community. Quercus acutissima community.

This study is to offer the basic information and materials for the restoration of the urban forest and the ecologically healthy and continuous green belt through the investigation and the analysis on the vegetation in Madong Park, Iksan-City. The flora of Madong Neighborhood park was composed of 65 families, 153 genera, 169 species, 19 varieties, 2 formae or 196 taxa. Some characteristics of the plants in this area have represented such as Th-D4- Rs type in biological type, erect form (35.71%), in growth type, 21 taxa in naturalized plants. The life form spectra investigated from Iksan neighborhood park was recognized as the following Th :21. 9%, H:17.4%, Th(w):11.7%, G:9.7%, M:6.6%, Ch:5.1%, HH(Th):4.1%, HH: 1. 5%. By the Z-M method 2 plant communities was recognized PÍnus thunbergii community and PÍnus rigida community. The pattern of successional trend of tree species might be suggested : p. rigida and P. th unberglÏ • Q uercus variabjJis and Q acutissima • Q serrata community. Finally, The vegetation of the Madong neighborhood park must not allowed any more. Nothing can be better than native states in preserving the ecosystems.

The vascular plants of the studied area in this site was listed as 333 taxa; 88 families , 226 genera, 289 species, 1 subspecies, 39 varieties, 4 forms. Based on the list of Korean endemic plant, 4 taxa were recorded; Populus tomenüglandulosa, Salix purpurea var. japonica, lndigofera koreana, Weigela subsessilis. Specific plant species by floral region were total 15 taxa; 2 taxa (Monochoria korsakowi, Spiraea salicifolia) in class llI, Ottelia alismoides in class II , 10 taxa (Sagittaria aginashi,Salix glandulosa,Alnus hirsuta, Quercus variabilis, Stellaria filicaulis, Pyrus ussuriensis, llex macropoda, Grewia biloba var. parviflora, Vaccinium oldhami, Cirsium pendulum) in class 1. The naturalized plants in this site were 12 families, 27 genera, 36 species, 1 varieties, 37 taxa and naturalization rate was 11. 1% of all 333 taxa vascular plants. 80, wild plants disturbing ecosystem like Ambrosia artemisiifolia var. elatior have been increasing and it needs continuing control and conservation measures on the plant ecosystem.
